Wanted to try a local place. The food was good. The service was subpar, extremely slow and it was not busy. The pretzels were a good appetizer choice. The tenderloin had a lot of flavor, my son said the Cuban was quite good as well. The baby ate most of her pizza, so it had to be good. The onion rings were amazing. My husband said the burger was just a burger. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking. I wish we had experienced better service. It is pricy for sandwiches.

Third time I've been here. The first two times i got the burger. This time I tried the tots and burnt ends appetizer and the crab Rangoon appetizer. I would order the crab Rangoon again as it was very tasty and the sweet chili dipping sauce was a pleasant addition. I believe you get eight of them per order. The tots and burnt ends had the barbecue sauce and the cheese sauce as competing strong flavors. I ate them because I like both barbecue and cheese, but apparently, not at the same time.

We had Captain’s for lunch today. Their Thursday special is boneless wings. They were very meaty and very good. I was impressed. The waitress told us about their specials every day of the week. From the sounds of it you can’t go wrong on any week day; except Friday. No specials that day. The music was not so loud this time. I also made sure we didn’t sit under a speaker. Still wish they had booths. We’re planning on going again on a Wednesday for their hamburger special. See you then. Original post: Food is very good. Prices seem a little on the high side. Cement floors. Atmosphere is not very cozy. Nice large bar area with stools. No booth sitting anywhere in the restaurant. Music (house sound) was very loud. Several TVs on the walls. Outside seating available. Waitress was very friendly. We would go back.

Burger was thick and juicy. Fries were hot and crispy. They asked me how i wanted it cooked. I said medium, but there wasnt much pink left in the middle. But at least they asked. I may have found my favorite hamburger. It's a sports bar, so multiple screens. Live band on Friday night. Small enough place, the singer really didn't need the mic. It made it hard to converse with the server.

I ordered 4 tacos. They were not 100% meat, they were not good, but edible. On top of that, I was forced into an 18% tip. I will never return and I will not recommend this place to anyone. Huge disappointment in everything. The server rounded my check up to the next dollar. I felt like I didn't live in a free country where I can make my own choice on how much I want to tip. I'm on a fixed/limited income. This was not affordable for me.

Great weekend place to watch the game and grab a full menu. I ordered a thin crust with the Alfredo sauce and chicken.Although, I was prepared for the wait.I really enjoyed the pizza and how well put together it was, as well as presentation. And the wings were uf pretty good quality. And their pictures of beer are reasonable.Parking: Main st. offers plenty of parking options

Got the gator basket.... 4-5 small bite size pieces and a dozen or so fries.... way overpriced for a chicken tasting appetizer....Didn't notify us about a 18% gratuity and left another tip on top of that... wish I woulda known because the service wasn't good.....Dont recommend this place.

The service at the bar is excellent. Stephanie and Amy make sure to keep the drinks coming. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming.Parking: the parking is a bit rough. there is only one way in and out. but if the parking is full you can part at the apartment complex next door.

First time I went here. Got there 30min before close.ordered onion rings and the young guy at the bar was acting like dropping an order ring order was out of line to be ordering at that time. During our stay. A couple of guys he obviously knew,we're passed out sleeping on the bar top. I returned about a week later,after having 2 beers prior at home. I was denied service based on kid bartender thinking I was to intoxicated to serve...... He said his job was on the line. I replied.. I'm ordering food and not alcohol. Needless to say this kid don't need to be running a bar

This place was pretty cool. Parking lot was full but inside had plenty of seats. Went during Sunday night football and it was surprisingly quiet for a sports bar. Food was good and the staff was great. I would go there often if it were close to me.Parking: Parking lot was full, had to park behind the building which I never love. The spaces were a little tight for trucks.

We went on a Sunday, and two of our party ate a brunch menu item. Both items... burnt ends egg Benedict and French toast were delicious! The other items ordered were cheese fries as a starter, boneless wings, and a sweet and spicy Thai shrimp basket. Everyone loved their food. The server was sweet and very helpful. The atmosphere was inviting. We will definitely be coming back!

Recently went in on a Sunday. They were not busy. Service was mediocre and so was the food. We had the Sampler platter. My friend ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and I had the Fish and Shrimp basket. It was all just typical frozen and fried food. I was disappointed as I had been the one to suggest we try the place. I do not have any plans to return.

This place is awesome! I'm looking forward to visiting again when it's nice out and we can throw some bags!Update: visited post basketball game with the kids and some other folks from the team. Once again, great service and delicious grubbage! Stephanie took care of us this time and did it wonderfully! We will return!

The service was nonexistent and no one in the restaurant working seems to care at all about the customers. Our server was very rude. She brought us chips and salsa and the chips were just crumbs. You couldn’t even pick them up and dip them in the cheese when we ask for more she says I suppose that’s all we have and walked away. We did ask for more later and got bigger chips. There were no utensils on the table or napkins and when we asked for them, we got one set of carry out utensils because they didn’t have any more of the regular silverware. They were out all the vegetarian dishes on the menu. The food that we did order was barely edible. They were greasy cauliflower wings with no flavor whatsoever but greasy. We were not offered any refills on our drinks, and had to ask each time. Almost every menu item that we ordered tasted like grease. I did go up to the bar and ask for assistance for our table and my request was totally ignored. He said nothing to anyone or I had asked for a manager, but there didn’t seem to be one available.Needless to say, I will not be returning to any of the Captain restaurants in the metropolitan area. If you like pure grease and rude staff, then this is the place to go.
