Great selection of stuff on hand they will price match with their website shows I called ahead had them pull. My part was ready for me when I got there make you feel like a kid in a candy store the mental escape of walking around finding stuff to buy is almost therapeutic lol I got two max vent covers for my RV for $30 apiece. Can’t beat that in 2024 friendly staff highly recommend this store.

Our brand new $70,000 camper was delivered broken because of their negligence in prepping it. We did the walk through where they tell you everything that has to be done to travel and went in to sign the paperwork. We paid for delivery and they didn’t prep the bunk or couches and both completely broke. They came out once to fix part of it with toothpicks, which didn’t hold. They won’t return phone calls and it’s been 2 months. WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT ever. Kevin, Billy and Matt are all super rude in person and on just lie to you on the phone (if you can get them on the phone) and basically are now telling us it’s our problem they broke it. So $70,000 and 2 months later my son is still sleeping on the floor.

Don't waste your time. We went all the way out to Grain Valley for the three day open house. There was no signage or anything about an open house, so we went into the sales office. The lady at the counter seemed like we were really interrupting whatever she was doing. We were told there were 4 salespeople, but none available. We could go walk the rows and some should still be open. If we find something we like there is a number on the unit we can go home and look up on their website. If we check the price and still interested we could come back and they would "try to find someone". Not a chance I would buy one from them after being treated like that. If service is that bad now, what would it be like after you make the purchase.

Got up there about a week ago and was able to make a deal on a forest river salem fsx 161Qk. Fits all my needs and they did a good job of making sure it was all ready to go that week. Luckily I got to deal with Anson he did a great job on showing us a couple different ones we were wanting to look at. I was amazed he wasn't being pushy about anything and gave my other half and I plenty of time to talk and figure out which one we liked best. I would highly recommend going and dealing with him if you can but honestly all of the people up there were professional to us even after we brought it home and came back up there to shop around.Thank you Anson!😊

We are So FURIOUS with Camping World! Unacceptable! Came to pick up our RV after a 9-month-long repair under warranty due to water leaks on the brand new 2022 Keystone Montana high country 377fl RV, only to be SURPRISED with NEW damage done to my RV by Camping World. The staff damaged the RV while it was in the shop getting repaired or moving it with a forklift and nobody bothered to call us to tell us that it got damaged or order new parts to initiate the repairs. We discovered the damage ourselves when we came to pick up the RV while doing a final walk-around! NOW with the new damages they caused to the RV, it forced us to leave the RV there to get the additional repairs done. Who knows how many additional months it will be this time! So ANGRY!

I purchased my new 2023 Micro Lite 25BRDS here. Samantha (Sam) was awesome to work with. She had to be patient with me when the sale of my own camper fell through and I had to renegotiate my deal with her since I no longer had a large down payment to work with. They worked it out and got the financing done with a much lower down payment. About three days after I brought it home, Sam reached out just to check in and see how things were going and if I had any questions. Thats great customer service. The whole team was great! Danielle was our sales associate, and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She worked enthusiastically to ensure we got the camper we wanted, the documents were correct, we were trained up on how to use it, and everything was hooked up properly before we towed it away. The used car dealership vibe is real at this place. Look up Camping World sucks on Facebook before you buy from them. Seventeen thousand angry people says a lot about the company. They tried to put a cover on my flat spare tire and call it good, when I asked about it they told me they were ordering a new on but they only patched the existing one. They tried to send me away with no keys because they lost them. They told me it was winterized but there was no antifreeze In the system. When I went to hook up the water every plumbing fitting was loose and leaking on every faucet. There's thousands of other places to buy am rv out there. I strongly suggest you go to one of them.

I hear such bad comments about Camping World. None if that applies to his Camping World. I have had only the best experiences with them. My Montana was fixed quickly and looks amazing. The service writer, Brandi kept me posted on the progress of the work. She handled everything with my insurance (Shout Out to the amazing team at Allstate). Thank you for taking such good care of my home on wheels.

Not happy with the service performed on my trailer. My first trip to get my rig fixed they ordered the wrong part.... So I wasted a couple hundred dollars in fuel that time. Despite all the pictures I sent to make sure they got the right part... they still ordered the wrong part LOLThe next problem is the left materials in my trailer and did a horrible on the repair. The shower they supposedly "fixed" leaked all over the place. They put the track for the sliding glass door on backwards so all the water drained onto my floor instead of into the shower. Not to mention they damaged my cabinet in the process of executing this horrible excuse for work and never said anything about it!!!!! Now I have to spend about $200 on diesel fuel driving to KC to pick up a $10 piece of trim because these clowns cannot be trusted to work on my trailerNow all the rivets are popping out of my shower within 400 miles of the repairs. Before camping world touched my RV I never had and rivets pop out in 4'500 miles....... Don't let these clowns work on your camper!!!

Shawn was our salesman and he was great. Todd set up our appointment online with Shawn and he was there to meet us at the door. everyone was great to practice social distancing and we were able to sanitize our hands when ever we thought we needed to. We worked with John Thomas at the Grain Valley, MO location to purchase our first camper. To say it was a pleasant experience is an understatement. John was patient, kind, and very low pressure. He even noticed just before signing paperwork our existing vehicle could not properly tow the camper (Kia Sorrento), and allowed us time to replace the vehicle before continuing with the sale. Bill and I have always loved our Camping World. We go to the Grain Valley location. Each time we walk in we feel like family. That is why we have now purchased our Third Travel trailer from them and sent 2 or 3 friends there who have also purchased trailers. This time was no exception. From the first phone call, to the finance department, Marlena in titling, and of course our wonderful salesman! With great, hardworking salespeople like Shaune Lapee we will definitely continue shopping with them! Dan with the Finance portion handled us with care, respect and we felt as though we had known him forever. Janell who spent at least 40 minutes if not more showing us how to use all the cool new features in our camper and checking off a few fix it items. As well as the service gentleman that took care of a few of those fixit items right then for us! Top notch as usual. We will definitely be back and continue to recommend them.

Absolute worst experience. We took camper in for an estimate in May. Needed a complete lookover as it had been stolen and recovered. They 100% relied on us to tell them what was wrong with the camper even tho we asked them to do a complete inspection. They lost the check that was paid to them by the insurance company. They called us repeatedly to ask if they had been paid. They called and told us the work had been completed and scheduled an appointment for us to come pick up the camper and when we arrived we weren't on the schedule and none of the work had been completed. We finally got our camper back in November only to discover the water heater had a large crack and the gaskets were stripped causing our camper to flood. Our search for a travel trailer led us in many different directions, including both physical and online and we kept coming back to Camping World. They had such great inventory and super helpful staff on hand to help us find what we needed. Ultimately we ended up working with Scott as our salesman and he gave us exactly what we needed as far as the right guidance and information to make the best decision for our family. Like a lot of people we have heard horror stories about camping world. But I can assure you they are wrong, especially with this location. We went in with a specific list of what we wanted and didn’t have any intention on buying that day. But Danielle was an AMAZING sales person. Camping World was nice to us and very responsive as my wife and I were buying a new camper last year. Unfortunately, that service and responsiveness stopped immediately upon us buying our camper.The first time we took the unit out we identified several major issues including carpet falling apart, trim falling off the inside of the unit, nails sticking up through the floor, doors bowed. In fact, when they had the unit in their lot, the gear box on the awning went out and they had to zip-tie the awning in the closed position. Long story short, they have had our camper for almost a year and still haven't finished fixing all the issues. Now, a year after we purchased our new camper, we barely get to use it but we still get to make payments on it.We have been speaking to them throughout the process and they have never given us good answers as to why this camper is so broke. The only thing we know for a fact is that their CEO Marcus does not stand by his motto "If your not happy, I'm not happy" because I'm clearly not happy and they haven't done anything substantive to address my concerns. This unit is clearly a lemon and Camping World has failed us as customers because they won't do anything about it. Don't use them, don't buy a camper from them and don't recommend them to your friends or family.I suppose you could recommend them to people you don't like... that will probably be okay.

I can not say any against the sales staff but the service depart failed to repair my camper correctly after having it for almost 5 months. The service depart did not inform me that it would take 5 months to get the J channel skirting and complete the repairs. There was still damage to rear of the RV still that was included, along with replacing the stabilizer jacks, and hitch jack that was included in my estimate. I will not bring my camper into camping world for them to finish the repairs as I have no faith in their ability to complete the job in a timely manor. Fails to complete the task in full and in a acceptable amount of time.

After 2 years of shopping around and looking for our first trailer we finally purchased one from Camping World of KC. Over those 2 years we visited numerous dealerships and talked to over a dozen salespersons and by far Austin at Camping World was the best. More than once we stopped in near closing time but Austin was always willing to help and never rushed us. We finally found our camper almost by accident. We knew we were ready to buy and brought our 3 children (the youngest is 8) with us to get their opinions. We told Austin that we were just going to be looking and were not going to buy one but that wasn't a problem for him. He walked our pack around the lot showing us any floor plans we wanted and patiently answering a barrage of questions from our 8 year old. As it worked out we found one that the whole family really liked, but we told him that we would need to think about it. Again, no pressure to buy. We came back the next day (without the children) and he answered all the other questions we had.Fast forward a week and we're back to finish buying it and take possession. This is where I want to mention the rest of the team at Camping World as well. During the walk through we noticed a few issues that needed to be addressed. Austin ran around making sure they were fixed and the Operations Manager herself jumped in to help, making sure we were happy. I can't remember all the names but at least 6 people stopped what they were doing to address our concerns. Additionally I had a few questions that are apparently not often asked and they seemed to struggle to address them. In the end the Operations Manager and the Lead Tech came and sat down with my wife and I and addressed all our remaining concerns. They even went so far as to put their words in writing when I asked, which was huge for me.I am very happy with the buying experience we had at Camping World working with Austin (Sales), Danny (Finance), and the rest of the team (I'm sorry I don't remember all their names).

They did not try to pressure us into anything that was more than what we wanted. The kept in touch with us to see if they were able to help us with our search. We did end up purchasing a trailer from their establishment and are very excited about it.
