When we first started buying the milk there it would always expire at least a week before the due date now it tastes absolutely horrible have mentioned it to the store with no results do not buy milk at Dollar general in Goodman Missouri don't know if it's a problem with their distributor or all Dollar general stores in this area you would think they would do something about it and find a different supplier

Went to the store to get a bag of cat food for my cats. After comparing the bags of food available and the stickers on the shelves, I picked a 12 pound bag of purina cat chow indoor formula that had a sticker on the shelf stating the bag was $10.95. I went squatted down to compare the sticker information with the bag. After getting home and reviewing my receipt, I was charged $16.50 for the cat food. I would have chosen a different bag if they sticker price had said the bag was $16.50 instead of the $10.95 stated. This is not the first time that I’ve bought something from Dollar General after looking at the shelf sticker, only to have the items ring up for more. Tonight was the last straw, I will no longer shop here.

Like all Dollar General stores , they have a good selection of items that most people go thru pretty quickly & are inexpensive. The stores are easy to navigate & the staff is friendly & helpful.The only negative I have is when you go to checkout & pay is it seems to be a confusing bottleneck & the counters are to small if you have alot of items creating a hassle for both the cashier & customer.

All dollar generals I have been to have been poorly managed, except for Goodman. The ladies at Goodman Dollar General have the store clean, organized, and stocked at all times. Items are easy to find and if you have any questions or need help the staff is very kind and helpful!

the new store is nice if they can ever keep it soft without things down the aisles where you can't get around and if the manager decides to enforce with mask wearing other than that they generally out of stock on a lot of things but it is a good place to shop if you need time and get out of there

Personally I'd rate them lower than a star if I could, maybe a half star, they never answer the phone so don't think about calling them, the selection is poor and the chip section is from the dinosaur ages (only ever get stale chips from them) some bottles of soda have visible dust on them from how long they've been on the shelves. Horrible customer service rarely is there ever someone at the counter either good 10 minute wait time before you can check out because the worker is off dilly dallying somewhere else

Employees usually just ignore you. Ive had multiple experiences where they're just talking to each other and refuse to acknowledge you. But my biggest pet peeve about this location is that they never restock. They wait until the night before they get their truck for the week to restock. They don't seem to do anything except for stand at the cash register. I've been to this location many times and I have never seen an employee do anything in the rest of the store. And if no one is at the register they just stand and talk to each other.

I would to encourage people to take advantage of the coupon program here. I am by no means a extreme couponer I am just a average consumer who save an average of 6 dollars on trip here per week .let's say I shop weekly in a year or 52 week that would add up to a savings of about 312 dollars ..

Workers treated us great but wife wanted to use dollar general app for digital coupons but wouldn't work earlier in the day, went home loaded the app for about an hour then back to store, found all the stuff on sale and wouldn't you know, still didn't work. Workers couldnt fix the coupons. We were going to use another phone number we had to see if digital coupons would work with our other phone number but cashier said after a phone number is entered for the digital coupons they cannot use the number unless they delete the transaction and rescan all the products which would take forever . I had just received an email saying that the dollar general app was updated and it was worse than before. Get what you have to at Dollar General but don't depend on any good deals.

The attitude and mouth that was on the Dollar general employee yesterday evening was unbelievably rude out of line and very direspectful to customer and everyone. Showed lack of effort being made for customer satisfaction. If you have a problem with answering questions that your customers bring to you , an employee of the store. Go get a new job elsewere, that does not require you to be knowledgeable of the products you sell! If your not willing to be as helpful as you can be or provide them with someone who doesn't mind doing the job there paid to do. Then" Kick rocks"! Every customer including the one you spoke of and Employee in your store heard you expressing your unhappiness with customer asking several questions to get a better understanding of what exactly he was fixing to purchase from you. I understand that not everyone is a cell phone junky and advise you of information your seeking....but you as an employee need to learn the term "FAKE it Until You make it " or do all you can do "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION" is probably a term you are confused about the meaning of ...it does not mean after waiting on a customer that irritated you..that it's okay to express verbally your issues with other employees, or the customers . You are very unprofessional, rude, judgemental of the people that pay your salarry and keep your job on going.

Just got kicked out because I was in my swimsuit.? Didn't realize that getting kicked out of stores for wearing a swim suit was a thing, but its cool. But it's suuuuper sexist. And I really think it was a customer complaint, so people who see this, lighten the hell up.

Went to get ice due to our refrigerator going out....was charged for ice and then informed they were out, and refund would have to go on the card. What of that was someone's last $11 and they had to wait for the money?

Sense Anderson could not cash a check because of new management we went to Goodman and had very good service and was able to cash a check with no problem.
