Cal-Air came to check out our AC unit in less than 24 hours when another local place no showed. The tech that checked out our unit was able to get it running that same day and helped us secure a bid with their business. Their pricing is fair and they are prompt and follow through with their word. They came to install the new unit today while we were working and you could hardly tell that anyone had been here, other than the new unit of course. We have been using Cal-Air for years. Honest, prompt service, and professional. And I always get a kick out of the techs Josh and Jefemy when they show up together. They work hard, but also enjoy what they do. We recently replaced our AC system when the 21 year old unit was no longer worth keeping. The owners of Cal Air were responsive, gave us a great price on a new install and even supplied us with a temporary unit so we didn't suffer in the heat. Great family friendly company! I purchased an old home and wanted to switch the heating from gas to electric. They explained how converting it over to electric would cost me a lot more in heating/cooling bills with the size of the home. They installed an outdoor wood heater for us when they came they were not prepared with the right equipment; had to order different materials multiple times which pushed it out 2 weeks. when they hooked it up there was a water leak in our basement which saturated everything. Now we call back because 2 months later 2 pumps on the heater goes out and he said it wasn’t them- that the stainless steel tank is rusted…. We asked if they put chemical in it and he said they never do that is up to us but he never said that and they hooked it all up so we assumed since they charge us for the 18 times they were here they also put chemical in it. To top it off when he came here he didn’t know how to run his own thermostat. Very unprofessional and doesn’t back up his own work. We are now headed to their competition to get this fixed. And we are out 5 grand.I received a call after this review and the unprofessional response was that we spent $3,900 and some change so I apologize on that but she did inform me they purchased used equipment to put on my used equipment that we purchased. We were not aware that we were paying for used equipment and she was not aware of the leak from used equipment in my basement. Nothing was solved from that conversation besides learning their communication between themselves suck. We took the equipment from the machine that they added to hornbuckle to have it looked at and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and it should be cover by warranty but after the unprofessional call I think we will cut our ties and have it fixed correctly.

Cal air saved me thousands of dollars if they didn't fix my commercial fridge in time. I was insanely worried about my food for my business I run. Although I think they was worried more than me at the time., he came out as soon as he could and found my leaks and fixed it. I was expecting a pretty large bill but nope, I was wrong to assume that. It was less than a quarter to what I was expecting u pay at the time. Honestly I didn't care what they was going to charge me cuz I needed my food to be safe and ready to use for the next event. I am extremely pleased with the service, pricing, and ease of getting my HVAC system serviced. I was having trouble getting our house cool on a couple of warm days recently. So I gave them a call and they got me scheduled the very next day! I was surprised they were able to fit me in so soon and so easily. I could tell it was a family business and I do my best to support local family run businesses. So I am proud to have had Dell come to service out system. He was very thorough and made sure it was done correctly. I have had trouble in the past with other companies trying to say things were wrong that weren't and trying to upsell us. Dell did not do this at all and made sure our system was running correctly. I am so thankful we did business here and will always call then for any future HVAC needs.

I called Cal-Air after the suggested American Standard rep in Columbia was too busy installing fireplaces, couldn't make appointments, and had a rude office manager. After 5 minutes of talking with Cal-Air, I knew I had the right person for the job. Everything was top notch after that. Service from the office to the installer was TOP NOTCH. I was eager to fork over the cash. They even provided serial numbers and information for registration and warranty. ...10 years on the A/C, 20 years on the furnace. THEN..they gave me information to call American Standard and up the warranty to transfer in case I ever sold the home, $99. Again, I was happy to fork over the cash. I am forever an advocate of their company. Thanks

I called them to have my A/C serviced. They sent Josh to do the service. Josh said "I'll start with the furnace". He looked at the furnace door never took the panel off. He flipped the thermostat from heat to cool walked outside looked at the A/C unit came in said "everything is good". He was here a total of 17 minutes which includes pulling in the driveway to writing the bill and backing out of the driveway. We have used Del for numerous years and received great service untill Josh became a service tech.

Dell showed up 3 weeks ago tomorrow and spent about :30 - :40 trying to repair my furnance, but couldn't. Paid him $70 service call fee. He claimed he would come back as he had some parts that could possibly fit my furnance. Immediately after leaving I received a text indicating a follow-up call was necessary. HAVEN'T SEEN OR HEARD ANOTHER WORD FROM DELL. We endured the COLDEST weather of the season and STILL HAVEN'T HEARD ANOTHER WORD FROM DELL THE OWNER.. HE TOOK MY MONEY, BUT NO REPAIR OR FOLLOW-UP! Repaired it myself after noticing a "jumper" missing from my furnance's circuit board.DO NOT RECOMMEND! CALL A PROFESSIONAL WHO WILL EITHER FIX IT OR TELLS YOU HE CAN'T!!!!!!!AVOID IF YOU NEED HEAT DURING THE COLDEST 2 WEEKS OF THE SEASON!!!!
