It was dirty and smelled funny and the manager was not very nice. She had someone leaning over the counter socializing when I got to the checkout and I had to stand there waiting while she socialized. When she finally acknowledged me her friend stood next to me and continued to talk to her when she was supposed to be working. I do not recommend this location unless it's absolutely necessary.

I find that this store is out of things a lot. It sits next to a subdivision with over 5,000 people visiting any one weekend more like triple dury the summer and on holiday weekends. A store outside a lake resort is always busier then a regular subdivision. Send someone out to observe the store on memorial weekend.

The store in French Village was quite well stocked, especially considering the circumstances that now exist. They did not have toilet paper- (no surprise there). Nor were there any hand sanitizer products.I GET that. For a store that is next to quite a large lake development, I was pleasantly surprised at what was available, including cleaning products, bleach, facial tissue, SOME sanitary wipes, baby wipes, milk, frozen foods, canned goods and SOME bread items.Overall, a very pleasant shopping experience, and the 2 young men who worked there were quite helpful. The store was clean, being restocked while I shopped.Furthermore, the customers were not doing panicked buying, which right now, is a relief in itself.

Upon walking in for the first time after grand opening, I saw that this dollar general seemed larger and more diverse than others I'd shopped at before..the staff was very courteous&professional especially the manager Angie...She took it upon herself to make each patrons individual shopping experience personalas well as comfortable and familiar...

The store manager here is awesome. Although it's not a store that I typically do my grocery shopping at, it's a great place to pick up those little odds and ends that I had forgotten at the major grocery stores.

Manager treats people like criminals searches people'spersonal property because she thinks she is better than everyone else and thinks she can discriminate against people she doesn't even know and can stop them at exit doors and search there property just because she thinks she can embarrasse and humiliate people by accusing them of stealing stuff because she is always exchanging gossip and rumors about customers and thinks she can judge others just because .she thinks she is judge jury and exicutioner

Well Goose Creek Dollar Store used to be my favorite Dollar Store until the manager was kind of rude and wouldn't compromise on the price of candy because someone put the bags in the wrong box I just pray that everybody that goes to buy the candy gets the same reaction from him as I did anyway I put the candy back and didn't get it used to be my favorite Dollar Store
