I would give them a 0!! Took my senior pitty in to have him put down. It was absolutely horrible!! It was supposed to be humane! The doctor had to stick him 3 freaking times. The first one he cried out so apparently it wasn't done right. And then stuck him again. So saying it was humane it was not. My dog suffered quite a lot before he finally went to sleep and met God. Don't take your pets there. The only thing they have going for them are the wonderful ladies who work in the office and nurse She was amazing. Other than that don't go there!! Watching your dog go through that will stick with you for the rest of your life. It completely traumatized me and my husband like putting your dog down isn't bad enough. He goes through all that too. It was horrible. Absolutely horrible. Please find somewhere else to go.The doctor's name was John Swinford!I just want to do an update. They were absolutely amazing when I went in and ask for my money's back They were very compassionate. Didn't even get through the whole story without her stopping me and saying don't worry Ms. Crow. Here's your money. I am so sorry that you experienced that

We were very fortunate to have Philip Falch answer our call when our yellow lab ingested mice bait. He was amazing in this emergency situation. Dr Falch was honest,knowledgeable and caring. He did his research to figure out what was the best course of action as there are 2 different types of Tom cat that require very different treatments. He was able to assist us but was ready to send us to St Louis if necessary. We really appreciated that he put our dogs safety first and foremost. He gave us clear instuctions and guidence as to what to look for with complications,etc.We were more than happy to pay the emergency fees as we were confident in his care. Raven,our lab is doing well and we learned what we needed to from the situation to prevent another occurrence. Labs will eat anything! Thank you Dr Falch,we are so grateful and you earned our business from here on out. You are amazing and although we would have preferred to meet you under better circumstances we thank God you were we there when we needed you.

The Dr really listened to my concerns on my senior pity. Made sure he got the right medicine to help him to feel better. Also look at my baby pity gave him a shot and sent me home with some samples for worms and flee and ticks. The woman at the front desk made us feel comfortable as soon as we walked in. And of course gave out treats.

The staff is amazing. Always helpful and there to help with a smile. They genuinely care about your pet.The staff is so great they even won the affection of Jax. And Jax can be a JAXass.Thank you to the whole staff for being who you are. I know my fur babies are in good hands!

I have never left there unhappy the doctors are great and the staff is even better... ive been though alot with them and my furkids and they are nothing but understanding and even comforting when they need to be! Twice, I've had special circumstances and needs. Twice, they've been extremely compassionate and helpful. I hope they know just how appreciative I am, for their caring attitude and thoughtfulness. Unlike several of the other Veterinarian Facilities, in the area, Fredericktown Animal Hospital, went above and beyond. Thank You to the entire staff.

We have three 100 lb. dogs who are wonderful but "rambunctious" to say the least. The vets and especially techs are always great at helping us deal with them. Even just getting one out of the car without the other two escaping to terrorize the neighborhood can be interesting. 🤣 They're four years old now and these wonderful people have been caring for them since they were 8 weeks. I can't imagine going anywhere else. We love this place.

Do not take your pet to this clinic. I paid $100 for a visit where they didn't tell me what was wrong with my dog and refused to listen to or believe anything I had to say. Will not be back and don't appreciate getting talked down to.

Great place to get your fur babies feeling well again. I always take mine here. They do an amazing job. This last visit my cat had to get a couple teeth pulled. Hes now back to his old self.

Took our new puppy here on Monday for a wellness check up. Everyone was so nice and the Vet took his time to answer our questions. Great place, great staff, very professional but very friendly. We feel like our puppy is in great hands! Many thanks to the staff and doc! :)

Staff.....VERY good with animals,the vet was more cautious when told there was no need but I understand I guess with me having a pit and all. Instructions on medication was made very clear and first dose was given. Very clean place and nice atmosphere.

They take exceptional care of our pets! They have gone above and beyond on several occasions. We have been through the process of taking a pet for the very first visit to the heartbreaking last visit and we couldn't be happier. Love that they set up mobile vet days for vaccinations. It makes it so much easier! We live over an hour away, but the drive is nothing when we receive the very best care available!

As a breeder and pet owner Myelf, I've been going here since January. I'll be sticking with this vet clinic for as long as I live in their area and as long as they are in service. Their prices are excellent, and so are the people working there. They have not only the knowledge, but are well experienced with the animals they work with. This place is 100% reccomended by me. A 5 star rating for sure.

Today was one of those days that every animal lover dreads. My beloved Ringo needed to cross the rainbow bridge. With no one to help me even put her in my vehicle, Cheryl jumped into action and came with me to help. I can not express the gratitude and love I have for her, she is the best. Fredericktown Animal Hospital has great DVM’s, & a caring & devoted staff! Our almost 16 year old Aussie just passed, & they have always given her personal, professional care, along with some treats & petting every visit! Until she got old & didn’t like to ride much any more, she actually loved going there! I want to thank all of them, Dr.’s & staff, (especially Dr. Mier, who gave her the 1st “puppy shots!”), for taking good care of her for a long time, & allowing her to “pass” with dignity. Their sincere empathy & compassion was really appreciated, they knew she was much more than “just a dog” to us, she was family, & was so loved
