My mother in law brought her dog here to be groomed and when she got there the dog was groom on 1/4 of his body and she was told to “take her dog somewhere else”.Very unprofessional, worse service, can not believe “trained” groomers would do something like this. This groomer definitely needs to find another job, I hope she’s not doing the same with any dog that doesn’t stay still.

I went to Petco in Florissant to purchase a new beta for my aquarium. They had a nice variety of fish with beautiful colors at various prices. I love my new fish. See you next time, Petco.

I dropped my dog off at 8am appointment that had to be cancelled because there was not a groomer available, given a new appointment for 10am. Get called a hour later by the manager telling me she could not complete services I requested because my dog was crying and biting. She shaved a patch from the back of him left the hair just hanging off him. She did not try to cut him because I said not to low which she cut to his skin.

If I could give ZERO stars I would...BOTH animals purchased here have died...I signed up for Vital Care Premiere for $10 a month, which is a scam. PetSmart is cheaper even after the vital care discounts. After calling into the customer service to file a complaint against the store, the store manager contacted me trying to explain how the animals couldn't have possibly been sick..The snake never ate. I even returned to the store numerous times, explaining the snake wouldn't eat. I was given suggestions on what to do. I tried those, and it still didn't work. Now I have wasted hundreds of dollars at this store, only for no one to care. The manager was very arrogant, to where I ended up hanging up on her. I will continue to complain to customer service.

I went into Petco earlier today with a friend. I had a great time in the store looking at the fish, gerbil's, birds, lizards, cats and everything else they had. We got the chance to participate in a dog training session which was awesome. We didn't buy anything, but looked around the store to see what was available. I have a cat and went to look at cat toys. The staff seemed very attentive and asked whether we needed any assistance. One of the staff took one of the ferrets out of its pen and allowed us to pet it. That was cool as I'd never petted a ferret before. They had everything you can think of for your pet from food to snack to toys and not to mention the grooming services. There was a family taking their dog in, but we didn't view that process. Overall it was a good experience. I mean who doesn't love animals. If you just go to see that it'll brighten your day.#Tonetta

We discussed soft treats for my dog who had 15 teeth pulled. And enzyme spray for urine stains. The staff was SOOOOO helpful and polite.

I took my dog to be groomed they said he got antsy on the table and I had to come and get him. I got there they never gave me the option to hold the dog to see if that would calm him down they gave him back looking a hot mess never again!

I was happy to find what I needed but extremely UNhappy to see the baby bearded dragons. The temps in their enclosures was dangerously off and their food was totally wrong! Baby Beardies need food that moves, ie crickets. They will not and should not be offered solid nonliving food. Poor babies!

Good place other than they didn't have too much of a pet selection. Had for cats and two ferrets guinea pigs hamsters chameleons tarantula and of course fish. I expected there dogs I guess. But was good otherwise

I enjoy watching the reptiles. Decent supply of items for reptile needs, though some of their live food recently hasn't been so alive. Group habitats look better taken care of than some.other places. Animal cohabitation is not recommended for most of the species they have together which is why they lose a star.

Had what I needed: my "vet recommended" (which coincidentally is plastered on the bag) Hills Science Diet Perfect Weight because my cat is apparently far from perfect weight. Also picked up some Tuffy dog toys. I wasn't hasseled or "sold" anything during my brief visit. Overall positive experience besides the traffic on Lindbergh Blvd getting here!

I can usually get whatever pet supply our dogs and birds demand at PetCo, but it seems that things are rearranged every few months, making each trip take longer to complete than I'd like.The prices can be a bit inflated (both compared to non-speciality stores like Target and online stores like Amazon), but they are a specialty store and tend to have a better selection (both in quality and variety) of items than found at other brick and mortar shops, while still being open daily for when you can't wait for something to be shipped. Finally, the employees are courteous and helpful, and visiting pets' "accidents" are cleaned expediently.Update (11/2023):This location has an animal-tag printing machine, which is very handy. Their selection of dog collars leaves much to be desired as none (at least none that were stocked) had reflective material. The employees are still helpful and kind, and the store is clean.

I was scheduled for a 9 o’clock appointment today Aug. 20,2023 . I get there at 8:55am doors locked. I’m knocking and calling someone finally comes to the door around 9:15 or so. Long story short just to tell me they don’t have a groomer there yet and my puppy doesn’t show up in the computer as having an appointment. Ask me to show them something that states he do and of course I did. And still all they can do is apologize they don’t know what happened but he’s not on they books today and they don’t have a groomer. DO NOT GET YOUR DOG GROOMED HERE!!!!So I took my dog to get groomed at this Petco. They did an alright job. My biggest issue is that they told me my dog needs to lose weight. Because I guess they had a hard time lifting her up on the table. I know my dog is a little overwight, but they really should not be telling people that. What do they do when a customer bring in a big dog? Do they turn them away because it might make their job a little more difficult? People are so ignorant. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

They accused me and my wife of getting our dogs groomed and not paying, I asked for the manager and provided bank statements and he still refused my business… that’s a sketchy place with sketchy people that seem to be lost and not know what they are doing!!!! How dare they accuse me of not paying for something and when I proved them wrong they had nothing to say!!!!

Beware if you schedule an appointment for grooming, at anytime they will change it and not notify you about changes needing to be made. There is no communication and they never answer the phone. Won’t bring my puppy here at all. We deserve better service then this place.

The groomers left my dog wet. They said she urinated in the cage and didn't have time to clean her up. I picked her she smelt like urine and was wet. There was three associates standing there. I ask for the general manager info and I was told that there was no GM
