They get half a star because they were actually open. This is unacceptable and I will not be shopping in MY area! Florissant location has to do better and have higher standards!

This store doesn't get a star. The service was very poor. I was displeased. I went in to get help. It was hot outside and I had my children with me. I tried to ask a person for help and the manager told me that the person couldn't help me. Then I had I went to look for help. I walked back in and another person was able to do something for me and I added it was all I wanted and all the manager had to do was help like the person helped. The manager walked up at me like she was going to hit me. She was in my face like she was putting me in check. Her demeanor was threatening. It terrified my child very bad to the point the kid threw up on the floor. She threatened to hold me in the store to where I couldn't leave then threatened to call the police on me when I was the one she threatened to hold hostage and was physically in my face like she was going to attack me. I can't speak for anyone else but they lost my business . I personally will never shop there again . The store needs better staff and new managers

Can I rate a 0? This store on Patterson Rd is terrible, I advise to go out of your way even if this store is more convenient. Product was not priced right, on the shelf it said 7.95 but it rang up at 10.25. Associate who was playing with a box cutter behind the counter said 'thats too big of a difference' and she could take $1 off. How about its not my fault that YOU have it priced wrong and you honor the price you advertise on the shelf.In addition, I was first in line waiting and she called the person behind me to help them, then asked the woman about some guy... she finished with that customer and I was still waiting and she didn't ask to help me. Oh, and the man in front of me was trying to buy cinnamon and the register said "do not sell" that item due to a recall. They aren't even taking recalled items off the shelf y'all. Store is a mess and should probably be cleaned up before someone trips and gets hurt in there. So many issues encountered in my 10 min visit.

I came to the store at 330 pm. The doors were locked. I tried to enter when a customer left. A The worker came out and said, "We're closed". I had to ask if they were closing early because the door stated 9 pm. She said no just until they ate. I had to ask what time they might open ba k up. She said 30 to 35 minutes. They have no signs on the door explaining why they are closed. I watched as car after car pulled up and tried to enter. Horrible customer service.

CLOSED AGAIN?! The sign says welcome back come see new design and deals but, once again the doors are locked with customers inside and a worker outside on a smoke break. And just around the corner you’re competitor is making so much profit off of the bad decisions of this store. I feel sorry for the owner.

Convenient and close to my house! Only downside is they switch managment often. I go in several times a week and as soon as I get to know the manager they switch them again. The excuse they give for switching managers so often is they couldn't handle the store and keep it up to par. It is mainly to blame on the customers that don't care and throw things everywhere. I have asked other customers when they throw things on random shelves if they are going to put it back to which they respond that's their job. I like familiarity in the places I shop,I like to see the same faces when I go in. The fact they are changing staff so much makes me think about shopping elsewhere.

I usually visit the store a couple of times throughout the week. Went in today and was denied service due to an employee having a personal issue with me. When I asked for the store manager she claim to be the assistant manager. Told the other cashier to do restock and not wait on me and my kids. I have never stolen anything or been disruptive be denied service. They both was very unprofessional. I will be calling corporate and speaking with the store mgr. I really love Family Dollar stores and to be treated like that is unfortunate.

Do not go to the store during the night and lock your doors If you do! I went to get one thing and was only in the store for five minutes. I guess I forgot to lock my car, and somebody broke into my car and stole my work bag and school bag and an old iPhone of mine. About 800 dollars of stuff was stolen between those things. The employee and manager was really nice and called the police for me but there is no lights on or no cameras which isn’t the workers fault. The owners of the building need to get some cameras and lights need to be on. It is not safe around this area to not have lights on and cameras

This store is destroying the neighborhood. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for more than 25 years. No other business here had kept such a trashy lot. Since they moved in trash is everywhere. Even inside the store it’s a pit. When I asked workers for management, assuring them I was not blaming them for the mess, they just laughed. They don’t care, but would not identify management...maybe a guy named Mike.

10/9 the manager closed the store early because of a “employee having to go home early” If you are the manger u can run the store right ? I needed pampers and had to drive all the way to dollar general because he was so inconsiderate of my “family emergency” I will contact the store manger in the morning. And it was more that one customer trying to get in the store (Adults)

It's a shame how bad the family Dollar on Patterson looks and smells. The last store manager that took over has that store looking a hot mess . Obviously the employees are lazy and the manager don't care . No thank you I'll go to Dollar general located behind family Dollar on halls ferry 😁
