So like others a 0* would be more appropriate. This location is clearly understaffed. That should not fall back on the customer. I got released from the hospital where my meds were called in before I left. Arrived 30 mins later amd the scripts were not filled. Was told the line they give everyone 20 to 25 mins. Total of 2 hours before having to go in and ask for them as theor text system was not working. Although an associate amd the pharmacist both said a text would come when it was ready. Highly suggest using ant other option.

They fail to get my husband's medicine and have zero idea how to keep it stocked. I just came for a flu vaccine and wasn't sure where to go so I went to the consultation window. They told me I was in the right spot and after waiting for them to tell me where to go they had me get in the drop off/pick up line where when I originally asked there was 1 person in line, after they "helped" me they sent me to the back of the drop off pick up line that now had about 8 people in it. "To get checked in" I arrived 15 minutes early and may now be late to my appt. Because the technician refused to check me in.My husband and I will have to move to CVS because this walgreens is unorganized to the point it is no longer useful for us to use.

The worst pharmacy experience. Constantly telling me they didn’t have my prescription after I confirmed with my dr they received it and confirmed the time it was received. After waiting in Long lines and being told to come back hours later.

Walgreens is a staple when it comes to some items you need for your health and home. It's great to know you can be in Missouri or New York and get the same service you do at all places in every state. They have stores all over St Louis and south I'm sure it's a matter of preference between what pharmacies are used this is the one I use .

The pharmacy is the WORST. specifically a heavy set older lady with short brown hair. I take a synthetic narcotic because I have Degenerative disc disease, lupus, Fibromyalgia, narcolepsy, etc..... This lady treats me like a criminal every chance she gets. She is rude and doesn't want to do her job. I have NEVER EVER asked for ANY prescription early. I do not abuse medication. I've always picked up my prescriptions the day before they are due. I had a trip on the day I usually pick them up and had to be at the train station in kirkwood BEFORE 9am. I called twice 2 days before and once the day before to MAKE SURE it was okay to pick-up my prescription after midnight or before 5am. I was told YES all 3 times. I arrived around 3am and she was trying to turn me away. She berated me asking me who I talked to (I've never heard a single employee answer a call with their name). She argued with me for 10 whole minutes before finally agreeing but not without her letting me know she was personally putting a NOTE on my account stating I am aware of 9am pick-up times. I held my phone out to show her my Train ticket and she wouldn't look at it. I have problems with her every time I see her. Even if no problems are too be bad she is extremely rude. There is also a guy that works typically at night that refuses to fill my prescriptions until the day of which is highly inconvenient when my husband and I are dealing with one vehicle and he works extremely long hours. The pharmacist says it's a new policy but the kicker is...I know someone with my exact same prescription. he releases hers the day before they are due and she's never had a problem. I called recently a week prior to see if I could pick my prescription up the day before as I had the past 5 YEARS because i simply didn't want to have to drive my husband 2 hours to work and pick him up. Im ill alot and I just get too exhausted. Not a horribly big deal but i figured I'd ask. The lady said yes. Assuming everything was fine I called to ask when I could pick it up and he answered and said he wasn't releasing it until "tomorrow". I let him know I called and he responded with "no" and hung up on me. It's astonishing how I'm treated when I've never done anything but simply comply with their power trips. The only reason I stay is because it's the only 24 hour pharmacy. The sun makes me really sick sometimes so I wait until night to go pick anything up. I can't even bring up my problems to them in fear of retaliation. To have to feel that way simply because I take meds that people without serious diseases don't approve of its awful. I even get flack on non narcotic meds. The only person there worth a sht is rocky. He's welcoming, understanding, professional and just an all around good person to deal with. I usually only get to deal with him while picking up meds for my dad who I take care of. He should retrain the other two individuals how to deal with people.

Absolutely abysmal. I understand that working in a pharmacy is stressful, but there's a point where it becomes insane and redundant. My family had our meds here for four months and EVERY TIME they had either lost or misplaced all of our medications; I'm on antidepressants, my mother and father both of drugs that they NEED in order to live, and when they say that our meds are missing and say that it's OUR fault??? Absolutely ridiculous, a disgrace, that's what this pharmacy is. It was a mistake to come here, and I'll be glad to never have to return.

Horrible. Scripts called in the morning by evening not filled and was told insurance rejected it. No phone call to say this. Wait an hour in line then was told this and finally get it taken care of to be told another hour to fill scripts. Horrible Horrible service

I had a prescription sent over 8 hours ago and they said it wasn't ready yet. I needed to wait 30 minutes. They then proceeded to tell that to every single person that followed me while I waited. They don't start on your prescription until you show up. The person had the audacity to ask me to wait until Monday. I NEED MY MEDS! this is ridiculous. Litteraly go anywhere else. This is absolutely unacceptable. I don't know if there is a reporting service for this but asking people to wait three days on nessisary meds is asinine.

Waited 30 minutes inside for a prescription and then went to the drive through to wait 30 more minutes and now told it will take an Additional 30 minutes. So almost 2 hours for one medication!? No wonder everyone is going to cvs

Just go to CVS instead.After waiting 20 minutes to get through a line of 4 people I checked for a scheduled flu shot appointment in and took a seat. I then waited an additional 30 minutes past my appointment time without being seen. Knowing I would have to wait another 15 minutes after the shot (45 min past appointment) if I were to be seen at that moment I asked if they knew when someone might be coming as I have other commitments. The tech sharply responded, “I have no idea. Can you not see we are busy and backed up right now?! *throws hands in the air* If you have somewhere better to be just leave.” So I did. Things that could have resolved this: 1. Don’t accept online appointments if you are unable to accommodate. (There were 5 staff working who were visible from the counter window)2. Let me know you are running behind when I check-in or give some expected time frame.3. It is not unreasonable to ask for an estimated time when you are already 30 minutes past your appointment. This is not a question that ever needed to be met with the level of rudeness and dramatics that it did.Not unique to me, the couple sitting next to me had waited an hour past their appointment before they were seen and only stuck around bc they needed their vaccine for an upcoming trip. Again, just go to CVS, don’t literally waste your time.

Absolutely horrific customer service. I called because my husband had surgery and the Dr. Called in steroids, a steroid rinse and an antibiotic. After being hung up on, I was told they hadn't received anything. I asked them to double check, and could they reach out to the Dr if they could. Put me on hold, and hung up on me for the 2nd time. This place Absolutely does not care about people.

The worst pharmacy. They are the SLOWEST! After being told my eye drops would take over an hour to fill, I came in two hours later. I waited in line behind 5 other people to be told it would take another 20 or so minutes to be filled. Then when they called my name the lady at the counter told me to go back to the back of the line again behind, yet another, 5 more people. This place is awful. The wait times are horrible. It doesn't matter the time of day, or day of the week. It's never any better.

I have literally been waiting in line for 45 minutes at the drive through. I have never in my life seen such a slower pharmacy. They need to just tear this store down and start over. Go anywhere else besides here!!

If you think the one in Crystal City is bad.. Go to Farmington- they cut their hours all the time… they never do what they’re supposed to do.. since moving back to the Crystal City- Walgreens has been amazing… I have called a few times and they have been very nice and it doesn’t take 2 weeks to get my meds..

Up until this past spring I didn't have any issues with Walgreen's pharmacy but most of this past 7 mths have been HORRIBLE!!Last months refill labels were dated for the 10th, but the store claimed they didnt have authorization to refill until the 13th. WHAT?? I had to have my doctor call and tell them to release my meds to me immediately. Their excuse was the insurance comany denied coverage. BS!!A couple of months ago I ran out of a new medication within 2 weeks of receiving the prescription. Apparently the phamacist misread the prescription and instead of 60 pills (2 pills daily) I only received 30. The pharmacy expected me to pay for their mistake because, the ins company already paid for the "month supply". I had to threaten to call corporate!! I never thought it would be my job to count all my meds to ensure I receive the correct amount!The atomated text messaging has become a joke. As of this evening, a young lady from their call center confirmed that 1 of my refills is STILL waiting to be refilled. But when I finally got through to the store, the pharmacy technician claims its been ready for the past week., although their text message, as of this morning, reported what the call center rep said!!I'M DONE! Tomorrow I''ll be contacting CVS or the Medicine Shop to take care of my prescriptions. I don't need this aggravation!!

WORST PHARMACY EVER!!!! they shut down outside of meal hours, costing me to drive to Fenton for my kidney medication fresh out of the hospital. Had my script for over an hour and still said it would be another hour the next time I got out of the ER. Pathetic drive thru set up and experience. Just don't. SAVE YOURSELF!!!

Pharmacy blantaly lies about time of when receiving prescription from Doctors. Purposely waited 3 hours after Doctor sent scripts to this pharmacy and got there foe them to say they had only just received the scripts moments ago. Waited another 2 hours for them to say THE EXACT SAME THING! ONE STAR!!!

Worst manager ever!! Worst ran store also.This makes the third time. Walmart was cheaper for the Halloween candy but since they had buy one get one 40 percent off plus in store pick up 15 percent off, I fell for their scam again. They say they can't find the second part of the order and had to refund it. Yeah, so no deal and paid 8 dollars more than walmart for one bag of candy. They should of given me one off the shelf that was on the sale. But nope the rude manager didn't offer this. I'm done falling for the scam because this is the second time in 3 months and the 3rd time in 6 at only this store. Only reason people shop at walgreens because of deala, the prices are at least a 3x mark up compared to other stores

You'll never wait less than 45 minutes in this drive thru. And, to top is- the app will say your script is ready even when they don't have it ready. They will send you without syringes for your kids meds.And, the new Walgreens pickup? Yeah...what a joke. You have to sit there in line while a manager has to be called to get your stuff off the shelf meanwhile the woman at the window (Carlyle) is less than friendly, looks miserable & hates her job.

There is a plus sized manager with short hair there that is extremely rude and unsympathetic. It's honestly horrible how she talks to people in her passive aggressive tone while they are already on the verge of tears. Won't be back.

Some of the pharmacy staff can be rude on certain days, like today whoever was answering the phone was very short with me and at the end of conversation instead of have a good night or thanks for calling Walgreens she said bye in a sour almost annoyed teen anger tone. Unfortunately the prescription industry is highly monopolized and a complaint would likely not be addressed.

Not only is the store a disappointment but so is the pharmacy. I drive an extra 15 min to go to another location rather than stop at this store for anything. The store employees are rude and hateful, the hate when you use any amount of coupons. Your only allowed to get 4 items of each type when on sale, which makes no sense when they have sales that are buy 2 get 1 free. The store manager it’s fairly nice but not the brightest when it comes to sales and making money.The pharmacy is a joke, they never have what you need. They lack communication and timelines. The female pharmacist is just plain rude and always has an additide.I would not refer this location nor do I ever go back for anything. The extra 15 min drive is well worth it compared to dealing with this store.

This location is absolutely horrible. It's a fight every.single.month to get my prescriptions filled timely and accurately, and most of the pharmacy staff have no concept of customer service. The most recent example being on June 8, 2019 when I tried to refill my insulin at Festus Walgreens. All day my app kept saying my prescription was "Delayed - No Action Needed". Finally I called up there to see what was going on, and the pharmacist himself, not a technician, told me THEY ARE OUT OF INSULIN. They won't have any until sometime on Monday and, if I want it, I'll have to drive to the Kennerly location. What pharmacy RUNS OUT of insulin?!? And, more importantly, "if I want it"? No, I don't want it, but that doesn't change the fact that I'll die without it!! I just couldn't believe what I was hearing! I promptly switched pharmacies.

Went to pick up my young sons prescription that the pediatricians office called in, only to find the store was closed “due to rebooting” it said on the door. Door locked..no call no nothing. A worker going in, I questioned and she said store would probably be shut down for over 24 hrs?! My son was ill but thank goodness he wasn’t in serious need of medicine, like many others could be. Very unprofessional and shows they don’t care about their customers. I have already switched my entire family to another pharmacy. This was it for us!

Had been using this pharmacy for years, then started to have issues. They overcharge for medications! Found out they were charging me $104 for a compound, when Medicine Shoppe in Pevely would only charge $49.95. They also didn't even have part of the compound there and didn't know when they'd get it in to make my medication. Service can be slow too. Now that I know they price gouge, I switched to another local pharmacy. The nicest thing they did was send my prescription elsewhere to someone who actually had all the medications in stock.

Every time I go in here the employees are so rude and miserable. I just go to pick up photos but I’m not even getting them from this location anymore, they act like your bothering them. It seems like a management problem. They get attitudes when I pay cash. Just bc they have to actually open the drawer and count some change out.That’s how lazy they are...

This is the second time in the past 6 months that they have shorted us on my husbands insulin pen. I don't see how they can be so negligent with something so serious. The first time they insisted we were lying, but there was only one pen in the bag. The same thing just happened again today. Looks like we will be making a change to CVS and contacting their corporate office.

Worst customer service!!! We had to jump through hoops to get refunded for a discount that should've been applied in the first place. The "manager" was absolutely rude, and then refused to give her name when we said we were calling the actual manager. We will not be back to this Walgreens .
