Store manager Anna Vaeth is horrible to employees and treats them like garbage. None of the employees talk or say a word to eachother because she sits in the office and watches the cameras and if you do one thing wrong she will steal your lively hood from you and terminate you on the spot. Was told several complaints have been made to Human Resources but goodwill doesn’t care about their employees so they don’t do anything about it. Complaints have been made to not only corporate HR but also the district manager. Will see if anything gets done. Have video proof of the way she treats community service workers.

Great big store and in great shape. Everything seemed organized and not too many broken items. I also loved the way things were organized throughout the store. They had plenty of toys for kids and I walked away with a pretty cheap skateboard that would have cost triple at Walmart.

Goodwill, where is the good ? $16 for a pair of men's Levi's ! I have found new items with tags and the goodwill tag is higher than original price. They are off the chain . Ridiculous ! $4 & $5 for any kind d of shirt, stained , holes , white undershirt. It used to be a nice thrift store.

It's a thrift/junk store. Prices are going up. For example; record albums that have been fifty cents for several years are now over $2.50. Ridiculous for items that are donated and are in no better shape than previous.

Could use to have the bathrooms cleaned properly. Floors are literally coated in pee and feces stains. Wouldn’t hurt, for your employee’s health to have the airducts cleaned while you’re at it!Great and friendly staff however.

After shopping there for years my family and I do not shop at Goodwill Stores anymore. Treat their workers like slaves and have outrageous prices for things that are donated to them for free! I have found dollar tree items priced as high as $7 multiple times while shopping here and at other locations. I rarely ever leave negative reviews but sadly I feel like my judgement is needed to be shared. Support other small thrift stores rather than this place.

This place is a vortex of everything a store should NOT be. The price gouging is ridiculous- 13.00 for a pair of Levi’s? Get out of here. 35 bucks for an adidas hoodie? Whoever is pricing at this location are the same people who think Applebees is a nice place to eat- and don’t get me started on the workers- I’m not sure if I’m at the checkout counter or a funeral. I wish this was an isolated experience but sadly- it is. Every. Single. Time.

Price gouging at its best at the Festus Goodwill! Prices are comparable to other Goodwills? Really? I go to several others and the Festus Goodwill is by far priced the highest of all. 100% of all items are donated so why such high prices? What a scam. Oh yea.. and all of these prices go on sale after a few weeks is also not true on top of the fact that the current prices are comparable to new on sale items at the mall. Today was my last trip to the Festus location and I was absolutely disgusted. People shop there to save money. It’s a Goodwill! If you look at any review over 9 months ago this location was praised and now it’s bad review after bad review. That should tell you something.

Prices are continuously raising at this location. I was a weekly shopper but im not paying retail. The "pricer" in this location continuously gouges. T-shirts and hoodies now average between 12-20.00 for average mall brands while boutique brands are priced low and go unnoticed. The employees are slow. They are rude. I witnessed one putting a large item back for themselves.

For a place that is given everything for free to sell, they are crazy expensive. They have put $18.00 on stuffed animals because I was told “That’s what they sell for on eBay” or toddler boys hoodies for $12. The store once upon a child who buys your childrens clothes sell hoodies for $6-$8. How can you justify that? The store is incredibly greedy. You go there to find a good deal and now it’s more expensive then places who actually pay you for your stuff.

Nice clothing, but pricing is way to high. $3.96 per shirt and the same for each pair of shorts, all for toddler and youth. Housewares was $7.00 and up. Found an item that was priced higher than the original store, also marked on item.

Nice selection of items. As with all Goodwill stores, prices are getting a little steep, considering 99% of the items are used. Employees are pleasant. Store is always clean and well managed.

Everyone is very nice. I know that the workers do not have a choice on price but a 2 pc matching set of pj's went from $3.00 to $8.00. Shoes were $3 now they are $8.00. Use to love living right by them but now their making a fortune off ppl. There's no deals really not for Goodwill.

I use to shop here 3 or 4 times a week..but since theyve raised the prices, not so much maybe once a month...what is the deal?? People GIVE GW thwir items & GW sells them @so much higher prices..it doesnt make since to me...i use to donate lots ot things to them but not any more..i now take everything to the "drop boxes" they are all over town & they give the items to the homelessPeople pls start putting your items in these boxes not to GW...

I was so happy I came here...I had to go last minute pants shopping for my son for a dance. I was on a time limit and a budget. I decided to stop here..I found him two pairs of different color pants...3 shirts for me one sweater for my daughter and a purse for 24.00. I would of paid 30 for one pair of pants or more elsewhere. They are so nice here and the store is very organized. Shopping here first from now on.

Took my granddaughter to find a prom dress and we found 2. She is very happy. The store was clean the workers were all staying busy the dressing rooms were clean. And when it was time to check out the lines were not long and the workers were fast friendly and courteous. Thank you.

They are pretty good but they are getting out if hand with prices. They need to take into consideration the condition of the item...for instance if an item is priced @ $5.00 fine, but if the same item is in bad condition then it should be less than $5.00 due to the condition...its only the proper thing to do. I see this a lot at goodwill.

I've been to several Goodwills all throughout St Louis and surrounding communities and they are not all equal. This particular Goodwill was one of the better ones. Everything was priced right and the inside is huge. They had a pretty good selection for a Goodwill located in a smaller community. I'll definitely be back.

Any Goodwill store is awesome, & the closer to home the better! They have different stuff every day, & it's REALLY hard to NOT find something you want or need. I try to get there at least once a week

Their price have gone up considerably on many things which almost makes it not worth the drive to the next town. Skeins of yarn were marked at the same price as what I could go get at Walmart brand new.

Store is organized, nice and clean. But, the customer service is by far pitiful. Not to mention the management acts like they're always right and they pick on certain employees. Take your money and shop elsewhere like St. Vincent de Paul or Salvation Army. Places where it actually is non-profit.

I bought 4 personal development books including Robert Kyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad for 75 cents each. The store is open till 8 pm except Sundays and Erin, our sales clerk was super nice and friendly with a beautiful smile and one dimple in her right cheek. 👴

A great place to shop for gently used clothes! Pricing is affordable with sale items every day. A few housewares items to choose from but it's all about the clothes.. Staff seems friendly.

staff is cranky , always looking like they hate there job. Once workers come out, there is a negative vine on room. There are a couple nice workers though. Prices are usually okay ,sometimes high. . I definitely prefer the arnold locsation because they are much friendlier l even before covid 19.

The staff is a bit cranky and the prices can be high. The clothing selection is great and the shoe selection is the best I've seen at a thrift store. The donation drop off guys are the nicest and the only staff that recognized me as a repeat customer.

It's ridiculous that I can buy an item new at dollar tree for $1.25, that Goodwill is charging $2.64 and 3.64 for 🤣 lets not talk about the cost of room decor/wall art/ pictures and frames🤣 I understand raising prices But it's gotten to be ridiculous

After having worked here all I can say is it is an adequate place to shop, but you don't want to apply for a job here. Sometimes it is like walking on egg shells and certain managers will be constantly riding you for anything wrong you do. Take my advice shop here, but don't work here.

It's not the best selection but it's not bad either- what do you expect?? It's in Festus- doi! I've NEVER had a problem like some of these reviewers with so called rude employees. If you're a thrift store troll like me, it's totally worth your time.
