Sara is amazing and so caring as she has been grooming my fur babies. I will not go anywhere else for this service. We love Sara and she does a fantastic job on Gizmo and Precious passed away back in January of this year.

Excellent amount of fish supplies! Had everything I needed and the employee in that area was very helpful (first time owning fish in about 20 years). All in all, very good experience (though I spent more than I had planned lol).

Store was nicer than other Petco stores. I quickly grabbed a few items while my granddaughter was at the doctor. I didn't get to browse and check things out like I like too but will next time.

Went in today to purchase fish for my kids and the guy in the fish section refused to sell us fish because he said “we don’t have a big enough tank.” It’s a 55 gallon tank and we were trying to buy a koi that was 3 inches long.I’d recommend going to another store and avoiding this Petco.

I bought a ball python and a rainbow boa from this location, maybe a month apart. Both are heavily infested with mites. Changed out the bedding twice, treated with two different products to get them parasite free. One could be excusable, but not two, a month apart from each other.

I bought a clipper for my dog. It was all in pieces with next to zero instructions. I have a friend that is a beautician and figured I would ask her to put it together next time I saw her. I went on vacation and had her try to put them together when I got back. She couldn't and said she never saw clippers completely taken apart when you buy them. The woman at Petco that waited on me was rude and just kept saying it was over the 60 day policy for a return. I will NEVER go to Petco again and have told all my friends. It would not have hurt them to exchange the clippers. There is no such thing as customer service anymore. If I could give Petco a zero, I would.

I went in found exactly what I wanted and this is my second time,I went to the register was greeted by a smiling nice sales person who talked and greeted me and said thank you. It's the little things in life that make my day.

My family and I went for a free picture with Santa as advertised online. We were told that it's $10 fee when we made it to the front of the line after waiting for roughly 15 mins. Luckily I took a screenshot of the advertisement of the pictures with Santa and had to show the cashier where we were informed that it was a $10 donation and he fixed the situation. My husband and I felt that it was terrible that people were being taken advantage of like that. I totally understand the need for donations but we rescued our two pups and can't really afford to help feed other dogs when we are busy feeding our own family. We are struggling ourselves and can't afford to extra expenses for a picture. That's why we chose the free picture. Needless to say we will not be doing that again.

This particular store in Gravois Bluffs is great for fish and supplies. Never have I seen a better selection and better cared for fish out of a big box store.

I have been keeping fish for numerous years so when my daughter wanted a small tank we got one together. We went to this store because of previous visits (that I would rate 3 stars, nothing great or horrible) and how the fish looked in the tanks. When we got to the department the employee didn't acknowledge us at all. We looked and when we decided to get some Tetras I sent my daughter to get the employee's attention. When she came up she completely ignored my daughter and said "I hope you haven't been waiting long." Although it came across as very sarcastic in tone, I brushed this off as she was really focused when we walked in and was trying to make it up. I replied that we were just looking and it wasn't a big deal. I then queued my daughter to tell her what fish she wanted and we had decided on. The employee continued to have a poor attitude the rest of the exchange. Less than 24 hours 5 of the 10 fish we bought were dead. When we went back to the store to talk to a manager about the experience and what we could do about the dead fish he proceeded to question us on how the tank was set up and a number of other questions leading to blaming us for the dead fish. Seemingly unhappy with our answers that didn't lead to the tank setup or anything we did that lead to the death he turned it to blaming Tetras "being hard to keep." Not once was the employees behavior acknowledged which was the bigger problem to me. The pictures below are from the store's display and indicate along with online research into tetras are not a hard fish and are considered a beginner fish. That is one reason I selected them for my daughter's tank. The final straw that lead me to post this was the cashier's attitude. Brusk, unapologetic, and pretty much threw the refund cash in my hand was unnecessary and solidified my decision to not return to that store or Petco. I would have loved to keep this matter private and just emailed corporate my experience however they do not have a contact email listed.

I have been going to Petco for a few years now to get the vaccines on my cats and dogs. It is easy to set up an appointment on a Saturday, and the prices are cheaper than the regular vet. I also get my dog groomed here and they usually do a pretty good job with his cuts.

The fenton location had more of a selection (or maybe they just had more inventory) than the Arnold location. Well staffed, very friendly, they are expensive though.If you can get to a Bass pro they have a broader selection of many different accessories, and are less expensive (considerably).

This location takes great care of their fish and aquatic animals! The gentleman that has helped me multiple times while I was setting up my new tanks is very knowledgeable and keeps the fish they have there in excellent conditions!

Walked inside at 6:58, doors unlocked. multiple customers in line to be checked out. very rude employee tells me they are closed and that I need to leave. Lock your doors when you close or help the customers that walk in your building. I’ll gladly take my money somewhere where I will not be condescendingly told “Have a great night, missy” after asking why the doors were unlocked. Do better.

This Panther Chameleon has been here for at least 2 weeks in this condition. When a staff member saw me looking at it and pointing out how sick it was. She just stated “We are treating it, and the price tag shouldn’t be on there right now”. She did not want me looking at this chameleon. If they aren’t trying to sell this chameleon for $300, why is it still there? Shouldn’t it be getting help. The humidity level is too low. Poor thing.

I saw some of their posts on Facebook and decided I would go in to check out their fish. The woman in fish, I think her name is Vic, is absolutely fantastic. She is super knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The fish tanks she has set up look like they’re from a magazine. There wasn’t a dead fish in any of the aquariums and they all were clean and healthy.You can tell she cares about the customers and the fish. This woman is a beast!!

I just got a ride paid gas and drove 45 minutes to come to this Petco just to get told by a ignorant worker that she will not sell me the fish I want because they are not ideal so I left because I was so angry. Then I call asking for the manager she claims she's the manager and when I explain she states she will have to pass me on to the ACTUAL manager and then starts explaining herself so I say again I want the manager and she hangs up on me. Then I call back and she tells me the manager is out for a hour and a half lunch and I will have to call back later.

Lots of products. Some priced good, some I wonder what they were thinking. Most of the staff is friendly. It's about the closest pet store to us so our options are limited anyway.The store is clean and not very busy later in the evening.We brought our pit and dachshund with us this trip to get harnesses and some dog toys and treats. They're very friendly, very curious, never seem to meet a stranger. One of the staff was stocking near the harnesses and helped us a little.The only and biggest issue we had here was checking out. We put everything on the counter, and my son put the tag for our pit's harness on the counter as well because he already put the harness on her to stop choking her with the collar.However the cashier had this rude look on her face and asked about the tag for her collar. We all said what tag? That's HER collar she came in with. Yet she insisted on us giving the tag to her. I told her she's had that collar for the last 3 years and if she would actually LOOK at it she could EASILY see how worn it was. But she just had a disgruntled look and said "ok... Whatever" and proceeded to check us out.WORST experience at this store ever.I should not have to experience taking my family out shopping to a place we have previously purchased merchandise for our pet and then be accused of theft when we visit later with our pet wearing a previous purchase. Was it because we didn't look "upper class"? Or because our pet was a pit? Or perhaps because my wife was wearing a backpack with tubes coming from it for oxygen and medicine because she is on hospice? We won't know. But beware of taking your pet here wearing previously purchased merchandise.

Everytime I come in there are not feeder mice or rats within short hours of the shipment... isn't there a way to accommodate the supply and demand needs. Knowledge of staff is good tho
