This is a nice store to have in Farmington. It's the only department style store around the area unless you go to St. Louis or Cape Girardeau. Store is a decent size. Aisles are not very big and can get congested easily. Most items are easy to find, other sections not so much. Overall good store with good selection of items. Store could be a little more organized and neat.

Clothes and stuff. Plus seems like they got a new shipment of mens pants in. I mean the good stuff makes you look at them give them a little pat then smack right on the back side. Cause damn those things are smooth. Dockers get me every time.

Went into the store looking for a brand of towels advertised on sale.I have purchased towels online in the past from JCP, but the quality wasn't exactly what I expected, so I wanted to check them out before ordering them.Unfortunately, the selection was very low in the store, so I ended up purchasing bedding and hair care products from the salon.The only register with someone working at it was in the front of the store. The line had 1 cashier and about 8 customers in line.I was parked in the back, so I went back to the salon register to see if I could check out there. No one was working there, but a young lady asked me if I needed any help.I asked if I could check out there, and she informed me that they did not have anyone to work the register.I think she realized what I was thinking. I was going to put the stuff back and leave as I was parked in the back. She then told me that she would check me out. I was very much appreciative and thanked her multiple times, but I would like to say big kudos to her for thinking of the big picture instead of herself. I wish I would have looked at her name tag, but honestly, I was just ready to pay and leave. Too bad we couldn't have more customer service employees like her at other stores!

I was an employer at Farmington JCPenny. I enjoyed the job for a while until a manager “Stephanie” would yell at me for things i wasn’t even doing or would separate only me from everyone else. I continued working there for a while after that until i got really sick with mono. I called out a couple days because of said mono. Then this morning I try to call out as I was at the hospital and they said that i’m terminated. Please tell me why I”m terminated when they have my doctors note that says i can’t work for a certain amount of time.

I just wanted to buy a shirt that fits. There's nothing my size in there. I'm a bigger guy so I figured I'd check out the DXL section like I have before. Doesn't exist. Just a clearance rack. There is barely anything for men. I most likely will not be returning since my patronage seems to be not as important with the lack of options I have.

This was the messiest store I have seen... smh... the employees don't smile or seem like they care if you are in the building at all. I took my Mother there to return items... I hate that the clothes and items were all over the floor and jammed together... someone needs to do something in Corporate about this location, sad... it use to be a nice store years ago...

Love this place. They always have really good deals. And if you catch those deals sometimes you're paying just as much if not less than Walmart prices for great quality clothes. They have a lovely salon, and a great toy selection. People are always friendly and helpful and if you can't find it in store they will order it for you and have it shipped to the store.

Love this store! My favorite shopping center for my 2 and 6 year old as their Nike attire (if caught during a good sale) is too good to pass up sometimes!! I do wish their Juniors Dress pant section had more sizes especially when ordering online..or the option to order from the brand site if not available in store.

Went there yesterday to pick up an online order. They need a separate area just for this as you have to stand in line at the kid's checkout to pick up an order. Associate was friendly and got the order quickly. Restrooms desperately need upgraded and cleaned. Store is usually kept neat and items are usually easy to find.

This store is empty. I have never seen a jcpennys so low on options, styles, and merchandise. They never ever have Nike or Adidas. Your best bet is to drive out of town to shop or order online..I'm surprised this location is still opened....just close already, jeez

Don't order items offline while using your discounts that YOU EARNED from YOUR shopping. If it comes it damaged, you are completely out of luck. The store doesn't have it in stock? You're not getting those points back because the fine print says so, as we were so kindly informed. You're more than welcome to order another and pray that it's not damaged, though. Will be taking our shopping elsewhere.

The store is not organized clothing everywhere, sizes all mixed up, fitting room is disastrous with cloths laying all over, hangers and needles and stamples on the floor just a mess.2/2/21It's really to bad how Penny's has sunk to a low level of customer service with the number of unemployed people in this town this store is operating with such a low level of help there's only one register open in front of the store all others have one employee and a sign to go up front, even the salon no help to pay for items tell you to take it to front because they don't have assistant to ring things up.Most workers are not friendly or co operative in any way.Really a shame to see this store today knowing what it once was. It's very poor .

I forgot my ID to return a pair of shorts so....Karen the older woman asked me if I had a Mexican ID!!! Wow! Was offended completely! I'm an American Indian! Idk that I'll be back to this jcp!I only gave 2 stars bc there was a young lady that was also checking & she helped Karen figure out how to do the return. She seemed flustered about what Karen had said to me & was very nice to keep helping

Went in for shoes, very poor selection and even worse finding anything in my size. Decided to look at shirts, same issues there.Cashier was extremely friendly though so I gave an extra star just for her.
