This pet rescue has to be the best one I have ever been to. The cats are kept in rooms without cages so you can greet and play with them and rooms are kept very clean and welcoming for visitors. My daughter and I go there often just to play with the cats! 😸If you love animals or just like to thrift shop, I highly recommend stopping by! It's a great little hidden gem.

This is also a resale shop that helps support the pet adoption connected to it. Kinda like a goodwill store. I found a couple of treasures and would definitely stop in again as it helps support dogs and cats that come into their adoption agency

You never know what you're going to find at the FPAC thrift store but I never leave empty handed. They always make sure the clothes donations are in good condition before putting them out on the floor and the volunteers there are some of the nicest workers you'll meet anywhere. The proceeds go directly to the animals at the shelter, which is a wonderful cause to support. This one is my family's favorite thrift store in the area. Everything is cleaned before being put on the sales floor. Their new final markdown area always has great sales too.

Love this thrift store, have been going now for years. Great prices, the workers are very kind and friendly too. The best part about shopping here is that your money goes directly to supporting the animals! 100% recommend to anyone who loves to thrift shop.

This is a resell shop first, and a sometimes maybe if you're lucky pet adoption center. Very disappointed in the bureaucracy and lack of motivation to find loving homes for the animals. I was denied adoption as I was a truck driver. Since then I've found 4 cats, 1 of the highway in another state. They're all very well cared for and even take walks on leashes. But this place thinks I can't raise cats in a truck. Ask the employees at the local PetCo about the guy who brings his cats in. This place is a shop, not an adoption center.

I always love coming to see the dogs and cats here at FPAC. It’s the cleanest shelter I think I’ve ever been in. You can really see the pride in their work from the awesome people who work here and all the critters seem so happy despite their situation I adopted Olive (formerly known as Raven) few months ago and everyone was so friendly and lovely during the process.

A precious pup ran into my apartment which does not allow any pets he came n shook himself on my furniture,I dried him off,fed and watered him and called them I left a message,and they returned my call promptly the next morning. After asking,for a video,and pictures they sent someone out to evaluate him. I call several times and got a hold of someone that was able to tell me that he was fine in fact he was chipped,was from Bonntere Mo. And had been missing since the 4th of july.it was amazing ,they were his guardian Angel.

I didn't go to the shelter itself. Rather, I was at the thrift store that raises money for the shelter. The store is first rate. It has a big variety of merchandise, all of it good quality. I bought 6 nice plates and 2 matching bowls for only $ 4.75. The employees are very helpful and friendly. If you need dishes, clothes, home decorations, etc., this is the place to go in St. Francois county. And all proceeds go to help the animals!

Lovely little hole-in-the-wall thrift shop with the purpose of helping to give good homes to dogs and cats.I posted a 1 star review over four years ago because of the bad customer service they had at that time. I’m happy to say they have several new cashiers who are always friendly and kind.! I wanted to change my review to reflect the changes I have seen.Keep up the great work there!I haven’t adopted any animals in the facility so my review is purely regarding the shrift shop that’s attached.

I love coming here to shop and knowing that the proceeds are going for our animals. They have more upscale items. Sometimes they are asking to much for an item and most of the staff are wonderful people.I understand that the staff is volunteered and is very much appreciated. But the ladies that are at the checkout are rude and seem to judge people. Customer service is very negative at times.

Very clean. No animal smells which is amazing considering all the animals that go through there.The staff is exceptional. I love going to the second hand store and sometimes spend more time visiting than shopping.Being disabled its sometimes hard to donate because I cant get around well enough but at FPAC they are right there as soon as I open the trunk to help me and I appreciate that.

Friendly staff, nice quarters for the animals. We enjoyed adopting our Corgi fur-kid there. Also enjoy shopping at their thrift store. Have gotten some good bargains there. Only problem is their limited parking, which is hard to get in and out of.

I would not recommend pet adoption from this center. I was interested in two different dogs at there facility and filled out the appropriate application. I offered a good home to the dogs I showed interest in , but was really put off by the unfriendly staff. I filled out the application , but was told I wasn’t approved yet when showing interest in a few dogs, weeks apart. They had my application for over a month. What does it take to get approval from this facility? I have a farm with indoor dog kennels, available fenced in area , pond.. all very well explained on my application . I offered the perfect home for any a dog to live a long happy life... This facility acts as though they do not really want or care to find good homes for these dogs. Please read the other reviews in relation the pet adoption! There is an ongoing trend with how this facility is ran. Again , difficult and rude staff. I was told I should probably go elsewhere when I told them I felt I was having to jump through hoops to adopt. I would highly recommend for folks in the Farmington area look elsewhere if they want to adopt!
