BE CAREFUL of what you donate or let the workers take in from your vehicle. I recently had a JCPenney bag full of about $100 worth of merchandise taken in. When I realized what had happened I called there. No one claims to have seen it and it will probably take 1-2 MONTHS for them to go through boxes to find it. Come on!! If you saw a bag of new merchandise with price tags on it, clothing still in plastic bags would you even think that it was meant to be donated?!? It should have been put aside and held to see if someone would claim it. I even saw the worker looking at the bag but it didn’t connect with me as I was tired & hungry. I had been very sick for 2 months and just been to the doctor. Very disappointing to say the least!

Large variety of books, toys, kitchen products, and second-hand clothing are available in a very large building.You have to dig, but you can find some good buys.

Not real friendly when making donations. First time I tried to donate some chairs and they refused even though they were 10 times nicer than stuff they have on the floor. Second donation was a table and chair set. While the table was still face down in the suv she kept telling me “be truthful, be truthful is it junk, just be truthful “ after I flipped it over and the saw it was as they took it. Come on folks you get this stuff for free then make money off of it, try being respectful to people.

They definitely needed that building it was a blessing that someone donated that building to them. The workers have done a great job on organizing and overall having a very nice and clean store. Now being that said I think they need to go back through and rethink there prices since they do not have a payment to pay on that building. I strongly think they should lower there prices to prices more like the helping hand in bonne terre that place is always packed with a line waiting for them to open the doors. Because they are a thift store trying to cater to lower income individual having more reasonable pricing would strongly benefit them as well as the community.Well refreshing my review after months of the store being open. I have been in there several times and i just keep getting more disappointed in them. Is this store not meant to help the community out. Such as offering lower prices on items people need or want that can't afford to go buy at the retailer stores? Then why are they still charging outrageous prices!! I mean come on your more expensive than goodwill. Have you all forgotten you get everything donated that means you get it it for free. Your fabric is more expensive than going to hobby lobby and buying it brand new!! Most of your electronics are more expensive than to buy them brand new!!

Good store, some of the pricing is a little crazy but lots of merchandise. There is 1 giant problem. Pink Hair. She has always been the rudest person. Not sure what makes her so unhappy but she is rude to 90% Of the folks who shop there. I would not want her to be the face of my buisness. I pray she finds happiness

I was totally impressed lot cleaner than it used to be more spread out easier to get through the aisles and see things better. Most of their things are a lot cheaper than they are at Goodwill some things I think are still a little pricey for what they are but other than that it's a great place to go check out.

After calling and asking about donations. He had no problem excepting a large desk. My 69 year old husband loaded and went to deliver and they expected him to unload and carry it 100 ft by himself!! Very rude ppl! I'll take it to the landfill before donate there!!!!

Donated some stuff here, and everyone was super appreciative and helpful! I like donating here/shopping here because you know that the funds help out local causes, and a larger portion of profits go to those causes.

The prices have gotten high even though the store is still stuffed to the brim. Since the staff has always been kinda rude, it will remain low on my list of places to shop or source. If you need something truly vintage, it is worth the digging.

Some things are nice. It is kinda dirty and the lady is really rude, basically tossed my baby clothes on counter and acted like I was bothering, i just wanted to look at a watch but it was sratched up. Maybe it was just a bad day.

I am an advent supporter of ministerial organizations. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience while shopping in the ministerial alliance thrift store on August 2, 2021. I asked the young lady working if I could put my merchandise on the counter while I returned an item to a rack. I was told my items would be in the way of other customers. There was one…yes one other customer in the whole building. I told her that I would not be making a purchase today due to her rudeness, to which I was told “oh well.” I then told the young lady I would be reporting her bad attitude to the alliance to which I was told “my director would tell you the same thing.” This was a ridiculous verbal transaction toward someone who was going to purchase a significant amount of merchandise. They have lost my business and my future support of their organization. But the saddest part of all of this is the representation this employee has put on an organization that is aligned with community churches. The employee I dealt with today needs trained in customer service and she needs to look at how she represents her community outreach organization. Her “don’t care attitude” is the wrong representation of a ministerial outreach.

They only seem to be interested in the MONEY, not friendly, rude and arrogant. This surprises me from a so called charitable organization, not a good kind heart running things here, what happened to CHRISTIAN CHARITY?? seems it been replaced by a hunger for money and not people. They board should look into the leadership here.

I was working next door and needed charger for my cell phone.I found two that had the right connection but neither one worked.I went in to return them and she said that she couldn't give me my money back but could look to see if they have any more to exchange.I couldn't find any with my type of plug. I asked her if I could look around for something else for 2$'s she didn't answer so I went ahead and looked around. I didn't find anything at that moment and I asked her if I could have a 2$ voucher for later on and she told me no and I wouldn't be getting my money back either. She was rude and I plan on sharing this information. Christian ministry..... yeah right!! They took my money and that is stealing!!!!!Go anywhere else but to that place because they only care about money and keeping the items worth value and sell the junk to you!!!!!

Very rude staff, always.. I don't think lady who is always there knows how to smile, let alone provide customer service.. This so called "ministerial alliance" literally throws away bibles! I've seen it many times. Places like this give true followers of Jesus Christ a bad name.

I am from illinois my sister took me here and i must say i am completely DISAPPOINTED in what is "supposed " to be a place that is there to help those in need or those who cannot afford to pay alot. It is absolutely rediculous the prices on this stuff. A SMALL as in prob 3 oz size bowls...3 of them was 4 bucks! You ppl are not trying to help anyone but yourselves. You should be ashamed of yourselves...im ashamed for you..shame on you farmington ministerial alliance thrift store! And i will share this on fb!
