A vet in Poplar Bluff said it would cost $700 to remove stones from my cat's bladder. He was peeing a tiny spot about every 15 minutes. Dr. Ed did the operation a lot cheaper & he took time out to explain everything to me. It's about 18 miles from my house but it's worth the drive. I was about to put that cat to sleep. 😥 Thank you Dr. Ed for saving my cat's life. ❤

Ginger cones here to get her medicine and they did her spay and she said they did great and she got lots of loves . Then she can go on to Rruff Kutz and get a bath and nails done and more loves.

The staff was awesome. The Vet. Was awesome too. Very down to earth and told us in everyday worlds what was going on with our puppy and treated our puppy. great feed him treats out of his mouth. I thought that was cool. Also a dog groomer next door she was awesome with clipping our puppy's nails. Very impressed with our visit.

Really kind people and very reasonable prices. It's well worth driving the extra 20 minutes for veterinarian care! Made sure my male cat would be comfortable after him getting neutered and offered take home meds unlike any other place I've been to! Highly recommend 👌

It was the worst customer experience I have ever had. We was his last appointment set for 430 and he didn't see us until after 530 and they close at 530 he wouldn't acknowledge us or answer any questions we tried to ask them and then he would come up and stand there talking to the receptionist and when we asked if It was our turn nothing. Costed us $237 dollars he could of given us some respect.

Doc ED, in my opinion, is a good doc for my dogs. He talks to you like your input, and his is equally important. All around, a nice guy. I gave 3 stars because of someone else who works there, made a dell with me, and then broke that verbal agreement at a very crucial time of treatment for my pups.

I took my baby Memphis in to see him for bleeding and vomitting. He was great with her! He was easy to talk to and gave great advice. I will not be using anyone but him from now on! I will definitely be recommending him to my friends and family. It was clean and staff were very welcoming. Thank you Dr Ed!

Amazingly clean, friendly staff that treat you like family! They were very communicative and clear with me about what was going on for my guinea pig, and were very reasonably priced! I use to go to fox but they just seem like they truly care about the animals that come through their doors unlike a lot of the other vets in poplar bluff and fairdealing. I will definitely be going to Dr. Ed from now on!

Doc wasn't feeling well but the girl working with him was good as far as knowledgeable about what we needed to do with our cat she didn't seem to care he had teeth and nails flying and Marcus the crazy cat is doing much better

Took my 10yr old dog Molly for a check up and Doc Ed was so good with her. Everyone in the clinic was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be bringing my dogs to Doc Ed's anytime they need a trip to the vet.

Dr.Ed is compassionate to his clients he can sometimes even become very personal with you and understand the meaning of having a support animal and to be going through depression. he understands it and I think he also sees that through every animal that crosses his path. I had an emergency with my senior dog. I was able to get in within an hour. (10:30am) I was told by one of the employees that the doc would be UP soon. 45 minutes later the same employee went and knocked on the door again. And then told me he was snoring and wouldn't wake up. I called another vet in Poplar Bluff and was seeing the vet within 2 hours. My dog was diagnosed with a pinched nerve in his neck and needs surgery right away. Thank goodness we found a vet who cares.

Highly unsatisfied! Chief complaint was my cat was lethargic and not urinating. Dr did not take a temperature, did not weigh her, did not check any labs. The only treatment given was anesthesia called special K that is not even supposed to be used anymore. She was sedated so he could try to insert a needle in her bladder but he could not. My husband held her down for an abdomen xray and amox. After she was given the anesthesia, she did urinate on the table so the Dr was able to get some urine in a syringe for a sample after staff had most of the urine soaked up with paper towels.. urine sample showed mild elevation of protein but nothing to indicate the need for amox. She was sent home still completely sedated and no diagnosis. No followup appointment offered. We called to voice concern that She was not waking up several hours after the sedation.. She continued to worsen during the night. The next morning we took her to another vet where after a simple blood test, she was diagnosed and being treated for pancreatitis. I did call today to inform Dr Ed's staff to let him know that everything he did only made things worse. Complete waste of money. I will be contacting the Missouri veterinary board about my conversation with staff and what the excuse was for why my cat was not given appropriate care. Good luck to all future patients

Unfortunately, I had an emergency with one of my animals. They took me back right away. Sadly, she passed away, but they made this experience bearable due to their time, effort, and compassion. I walked away knowing I have friends that will care for any animal I bring to them.
