I happily drive nearly an hour to bring my treasured senior pup to Dr. Walker at FGVS for chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Walker is so kind and caring and does a great job adjusting him, even though he's very tiny and it can't be that easy to do. He always feels and walks so much better after his adjustments. Clinic is very clean and staff is super friendly. Highly recommend!

I was so impressed with how they treated my pup Rocky!! He is so scared and has horrible anxiety around people and Julia was amazing with how patient she was with him! She recommended we give him a sedative and they check him out and when they gave him a shot in my truck they did it so professionally! They really care about your pets and it’s so hard to clean his ears out and trim his nails. He is so stubborn he won’t let me. Anyways while he was sleeping she trimmed his nails, cleaned his ears, cut his madded fur and found out the problem with his paw!!! They gave him a cone to not bite and they told me it was cellulitis that he had and it was infected and inflamed big time. They ended up making him feel better that same day with the medicine that they prescribed and he was walking on his paw the next day!! They even gave him up to date shots to while he was sleeping !! They really do lobe your pets and I could tell Rocky was happier! He loved Julia and it only took him 10 min to get use to her! She is the vet assistant !! They are wonderful and I am so impressed by this vet clinic! I have taken him to the er in Springfield and they didn’t care about my dog at all and they tried to throw a blanket over him to give him a sedative and the girl couldn’t hold on to him and she threw her body over him. Scared him even more and was rough with him.. She didn’t end up giving him the shot cause he was bigger than her and they couldn’t hold him down. They gave me tons of medicine for whatever they thought it was and didn’t want to deal with a scared pup… yes go to this vet office, you won’t be disappointed!!! Best veterinary office in the state of Mo!!!

They got us in very quickly (within an hour). They did a thorough evaluation and he needed a small procedure done. They did xrays and put him under for the procedure and had him ready to be picked up same day. Very professional and affordable. They told me what each step would cost before they proceeded.

I had such a hard time finding a vet to take in my rabbit during a medical emergency. I am forever grateful for how kind the staff were. They took him immediately, took such great care of him, and throughly explained everything. They’re also reasonable with their pricing.

My mom takes her animals to Sunshine animal hospital, but my Guinea pig had an emergency and they couldn’t fit him in so they sent me to you guys, it was my first time needing a vet for my piggy, Cookie, he has mites, and everyone was so helpful in giving me advice and having an affordable product I could buy to help him. Great veterinary office for large or small animals. Vets are awesome and I just learned they have an online pharmacy through their website. Just received my cats first flea and tick med this last week. What’s even greater is that I now have my dog & cat’s medicine on auto-ship!!! Total game changer!

Excellent Vet Service!! All the staff are friendly & knowledgeable! The Vets are Top notch in their field... more than that, they really care about your pet as if they were treating their own!! They treat you like family 😁 The facility is Clean & Beautiful!! They also do Farm calls which is soo important at times!!Can't say enough good things about my Veterinary Care team at Fairgrove ❣️❣️❣️

When I brought my girl here, they carefully explained my options and answered every question I had with compassion. We decided it would be best to put her down, so they explained the procedure in detail. A week or so later, I received a card with her paw print on it, as well as their signatures on the card. Amazing, gental and empathetic. Dr. Gilespi is the best vet i have ever had the pleasure of meeting. To top off all the good and fuzzy feelings, the price was cheaper than any city vet. Also, she made sure my baby had all antibiotics and pain meds before he left, (meaning no messy prescriptions). With any complications, i have received calls back within 15 mins, after hours, every time!!!

I highly recommend Fair Grove vet! We had a very traumatic experience at Strafford vet where we lost our dog during a c-section. One of our puppies was having a hard time breathing and foaming out of the mouth when she would wake up. The owner at Strafford seemed annoyed to be caring for us. We then took her into Dr. Gillespie who listened to us and did X-rays. Our puppy is fine thanks to her! We also had to put the puppies daddy to rest a few months later due to health issues and Dr. Gillespie was there and made us feel comforted during that difficult time. Fast forward 8 months we kept both girls and one boy from the litter. We were obviously very weary to spay our girls since our very traumatic experience with their mom. Dr. Gillespie explained everything very well and listened to our concerns. She is by far the best vet I have met!! Julia the vet tech is also incredibly amazing! She kept us updated the entire time our girls were in surgery. She has also been there for us any time we have questions or concerns. We love the both of them and will continue to take our fur babies to these amazing ladies!!

4 cats 1 dog, been there several times. Front desk is only intake, not knoweldgable or personable and they really don't care to know you as a person/or your pet (actually get upset if you ask who you are talking with). To me that is continutiy. Staff and Doc's seem very detached for your smaller dometic animals. I don't know how they are with the large animals (horse, cow, goat etc). Either way, there is no "want to get to know you or your animal". Not professional. Karen and Bruce

I was tired of paying city prices with my animals. I was at Deerfield but it was $200 JUST to put down my 4 lb cat. We eventually will move to fair grove and heard great things about this vet and I'll now make the 15 min drive. So inexpensive and not ridiculous about things. Always quick and friendly and got my dogs in quickly when they needed help.

The staff are so kind and compassionate. They are down to earth and make recommendations on care that are not driven by profits. Their business hours are accommodating to a busy schedule. They offer a variety of services and provide wonderful emergency care. They have several very qualified veterinarians and even more qualified techs. Prices here are better than most and they will never push for unnecessary service or medications. You can schedule appointments over the phone and often they are within a day or two. They are quite busy though because so many people Love them! I highly recommend.

My best buddy Link became very sick very quickly, Fair Grove veterinary services worked very hard to figure out exactly what was happening to my boy, it ended being a very aggressive form of prostate cancer and even though it was terminal, the vet gave me 2 more good days with my best buddy and when the time came to put my boy down the vet came out to my house so my boy could be at home with me comfortable and around people who love and adored him, so even though they couldn't help him they ended up helping him and me a great deal by allowing me to say goodbye to my best friend, him not having to suffer and he was able to go to rest as lovingly and peacefully as possible, so a BIG TEARFUL THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to the entire staff for making this painful experience as good as it possibly could have been.

My mini Shitzu puppy wasn't feeling good so I took her to the vet and she tested positive for parvo, we got to fair grove and they came out and took her in and got her set up in isolation and IV fluids, They gave her an antibiotic on Monday and was home on Tuesday, she's so energetic now, she's gained weight, she eats, they saved my puppy

First time there with my micro bully. Everyone went above and beyond to help my little girl. She is very sick but the care they are giving her is exceptional. After having trouble finding a good vet in Springfield, I was recommended to fair grove and it was 100% worth it. They are extremely kind and the veterinarian I had named Austin was so nice and respectful. I recommend my mom and girlfriend both to go here now as well, from Springfield. They are both extremely happy as well! This clinic truly cares about your animals health, and are not just trying to get money out of you like past clinics I’ve been to.

Our visit was an emergency visit. Very impressive vets office. Dr. Gillespie took care of our baby and got her on meds. After calling many ER vets and not one willing to see our girl. I called here and they took my information and the vet called me back and got more information and saw our little girl. This will be our vets now. The price of the visit wasn't bad either for an emergency after hours, but that didn't matter to us we just needed someone to see her and get her feeling better. Thank you Dr. Gillespie.

This vet is the best around. Had a sick guinea pig, called about 10 other vets, explained what was going on and they said they would have to schedule an appointment for us even with the severity of his issues. He was having neurological issues that were causing him to have seizures, not eat, he couldn’t even stand. He just laid there on one side. As soon as we called Fair Grove Veterinary Service, they got us in immediately. Unfortunately we had to put our poor Gizmo down, but they were so sweet and compassionate. They even sent us a card sending their condolences even though we had never been to that vet before. Now they’re the only place we will go! Definitely worth the 30 minute drive
