Waited 5 minutes in line at the pharmacy to ask a question. Multiple people saw me standing there. No one wanted to help me. I bought something and left. No help given. I will shop elsewhere. There was 5 technicians/employees in the pharmacy and not one asked what I needed. I'm just spending my hard earned money, it's okay 👍

I have had numerous bad experiences with the Walgreens. The pharmacy is the absolute worst. After I decided to move my prescriptions to a different location because of so many times going in when they said medicine was ready and it wasn't. I tried to use this location for random quick shopping when needed and still had horrible experiences with the staff and managers. One time there was a price that was incorrect and when I asked them they said "Oh, we haven't updated the price tags in awhile just look online." No thank you Walgreens! That's just a brief summary of some interactions but there has been others and others with family members. Management needs to be seriously reevaluated here. This place is a joke!

I am diabetic and get one of my shots from Walgreens. You can use a voucher. My old voucher had expired. The pharmacist Lovejot helped me for 2 days. Made phone calls called me. Very nice and Helpful. Plus Darla was helping at the drive though, very polite and helpful to everyone. Good job!!!

I’m a stage 3 breast cancer patient. When my new insurance was not in network with CVS, I saw that Walgreens was and called the pharmacy 10 days ago…having 3 days left of my medication. They told me they would call my current CVS and have my profile transferred within the next business day. I called every day for week after the transfer was to have occurred but after 20+ minutes on hold each time, I gave up. On Sunday, day 8, I finally gave up and drove the 20 minutes from my residence to go to the pharmacy only to see that it was closed due to staffing issues. Today, day 10 since my profile was to be transferred, for my lunch break, I waited 20 minutes in the drive-through only to get to the window and find out they knew nothing about my profile transfer and took down all my information for the second time. Meanwhile, I’ve been without my medication for a week. I called my doctor directly and had them resend all my prescriptions over to the Walgreens in Excelsior even though I wasn’t due for a refills yet. I waited an hour after being notified that the refills had been sent, and made the 20 minute commute from my residence once again. I pulled up at 6:35 PM and was in line 25 minutes until 7 PM before I finally pulled up to the window. The lady who had just helped the car in front of me put a large sign up stating that they were now closed and proceeded to blatantly ignore me. I am seriously sitting in my car crying right now…I will now be driving all the way to the Walgreens in Liberty for all my medication, they are open 24 hours and even though they’re 35 minutes from my house, they are professional and helpful.

Came here for a Covid test. Waited in drive through with a pile of cars behind me. Testing was a bit confusing as they just shout verbal instructions through the speaker. "DON'T TOUCH THE YELLOW CONTAINER!" I was told I would have test results within an hour. I never recieved a call, email, or text. Called the next morning wondering why.. Their "systems" are offline and have been for weeks. No ability to email or send out messages. Though I did recieve a confirmation text and a reminder of my test time ahead of the test.. They then informed me I tested postive over the phone but, I can come to the store to pick up my test results if I need them today. Seems like there is a very serious communication issue within this location. Communication issues are massive when dealing with healthcare. You would be wise to go elsewhere.

Grumpy old lady working today was extremely rude to me when I walked in with a fedex return. Wanted to turn me away as I walked in and she was helping another customer. Couldn’t even wait for me to present my return at the counter. Saying I have to have the return label and the box has to be ready to go. I had the label. Needed a piece of tape to close the box. That is it. Usually UPS and FedEx are happy to supply one strip of tape. People in this town are very unhappy with their choices of career and it shows every single day I enter any business here.

Worst customer service ever, the store manager there who’s name is Stacy has no customer service experience at all she is so rude and if I could give this Walgreens a 0 I would. I’ve met a few people who feel the same way she definitely needs to be fired and replaced with someone who knows how to talk to people.

Absolutely worthless if you're going there with the expectation that they know what they are talking about. One person says a shipment came in today, and a manager should be able to grab it from the back. Get to the store and manager says truck is being unloaded, currently, so we won't know what we actually got in the shipment for another 4 days.

Scheduled covid boosters for my husband and myself. We arrived a few minutes early like we were supposed to. There were three chairs with other customers in them and six employees behind the glass. One employee was standing at a window so we walked up to the window. She glanced up at us, clearly very annoyed, and then yelled, “WHO HAS COUNTER???” to the five other employees back there. Then she shouted, “I’m leaving! I’m trying to get out of here! I’m just finishing my project.” Didn’t say anything to us. The five employees all started chattering, “You’re off at four? I didn’t know that. What time did you get here? Somebody get the counter.” All the while, we were standing at the counter simply waiting to be acknowledged in some way. To check in, or something! We waited a few more minutes and then walked out, without anybody ever speaking to us.All she, or any of them, needed to do was say something like, “Hi. We’re busy but we’ll be with you as soon as we can.”I will now go out of the way to never spend time or money in this store ever again.

The staff at the Excelsior Springs Walgreens are always friendly and helpful. On several occasions, the cashier has offered my coupons for things I was buying that she had saved back. It's very considerate and that kind of thoughtful service is rare. So much faster and easier to get what I need compared to a giant, congested store like Walmart. They also have the best notebook - Oxford Stone Paper...love it.

Staff at this location are totally unhelpful. Went there late one night and the 3 employees were hanging out with some random dude? Couldn't help & didn't want to. Another time a lady spoke to me like a poorly-behaved toddler after I asked her for help! I don't believe I'll be going here anymore.

The employees are rude and very unhelpful, and apparently a year isn't long enough for them to have learned how to wear a mask or social distance (specifically pharmacy) The front counter people seem to be nice but the pharmacy really wrecked the visit. I'm glad theres a different pharmacy in this town.

This is by FAR the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. There is never a person at the register. EVER. I'm also a huge fan of easy checkouts, but Walgreens is the opposite. The entire card reader machine is a disaster, it asks a million questions.

For years on and off I have went to this wal greens for prescriptions and you would think after 10 years at some point they would get a good staff . First off it’s annoying to get a text stating your meds are ready for pick up , then I go to get them , then they say it’ll be about 20 min to fill , then when there’s cars in the drive through every one waits for about 30 min and I have seen so many people just burn out of the line and leave cuz it’s plain ridiculous. And the times I pull up and there’s not a single car I still wait about 20 min or so for my meds that was supposed to have been filled . Also my doc sends specific notes with my meds and they always put it on hold for a day or two wanting him to verify it after he already did. Wal mart or Rex X are the two best places in town . This place is a joke .

Very poor service in photo department. I started going to walgreens photo when Walmart photo department's machines kept messing up. Well looks like I will be going back there... I tried to get photos printed off today and they told me they would be ready in 3 1/2 hours... got there to pick them up and they hadn't even started them. Told me it would be another 4 hours. Went back to get them and they STILL had not started them. So they told me to come in tomorrow and they would have them done "sometime" tomorrow. These are $80 photos I'm paying for and they keep getting pushed to the back burner. So frustrating!

Called prescription to wrong dr. This caused a delay getting prescription. Had difficulty u derstanding pharmacist. Tried to fill a antibiotic at 945p pharmacist refused told me had to many prescription s ahead of me, had to speak with mgr to get it filled. This was not my choice for a pharmacy. Always used kex they were excellent alway helpful and informative. They gave a personal touch. I was so sorry they closed their doors. I will be shopping for a other pharmacy.

I used to use this place and never thought about going elsewhere until recently. It has been hard to get prescriptions refilled and even more difficult to get them picked up because of them sporadically being closed at odd times.

Went in to buy paper products advertised on front page of circular. 07/22/16 . Informed by assistant manager that this store ( Excelsior Springs) no longer carries these products. No substitution or price match. Advised I could drive to Liberty. So, can't use advertised price to shop at this store !

Well I tried to call in prescriptions, was on hold for 30 minutes, talked to no one. I came in to the store another 45 minutes and then was told it would,be hours before ready. I think they bit off more than they can chew. There wS people in front of me been there for over an hour.

Scheduled an appointment for in immunization. Sat for nearly an hour before received it. The attendant didn't get my insurance info entered correctly and I had to insist she look it over. Yep, she found her mistake.

They were so helpful to me today always so kind and go above and beyond the lady didn't even work in the photo department , but was so patient and kind to me and helped me every step of the way with something I'm not used to doing was very much appreciated can't say enough good things and I didn't have to wait forever ! Pharmacy is incredibly unhelpful. They are rude and uncourteous to customers as well. Go literally anywhere else for a pharmacy.

The pharmacy here is a joke they don't answer their phones and leave people on hold for 30 to 45 mins and then hang up and are the slowest pharmacy I've ever seen in getting things filled and ready.
