We brought Mac (formerly Ken) home when he was 3 months. He is a great addition to our little family. Mac has that special Irish Setter energy and loves to play and has plenty of energy to spare. Very social, very well behaved, and very healthy! He loves to play with our senior pup Dotte and gets along easily with new dogs and people. Connecting with Mac was organized, had open and detailed communication, and included health information that was super helpful to pass over to our vet for ongoing care. Sarah remained in regular contact and was flexible with us when we decided we were ready for Mac a bit sooner than we had anticipated! I’d highly recommend Rose Valley, and have shared with several dog loving friends who have asked. Thank you so much Sarah and Rose Valley!

PLEASE if you're considering purchasing a puppy do not look any further than RVK! From start to finish they were incredibly responsive, thorough and kind. We cannot recommend them enough. My husband and I got two male Irish Setter puppies at the end of August and couldn't be happier with them or possibly love them more. We flew from Chicago to Kansas City, rented a car and drove 8 hours back, worth every second. They're healthy, sweet, well-behaved and so cuddly! We get compliments every time we walk them on how handsome and sweet they are. See attached photos (they're 7 months now and these photos are recent) and don't look any further if you're considering getting a Setter, do it now and go to Rose Valley for them!

Sarah from Rose Valley Kennels was so helpful and quick to respond throughout the adoption process. I flew to MO to pick our husky pup up and Sarah walked me through the process and put me at ease flying with Jelly—it was my first time flying with an animal.We love our new puppy and our 1 year old German Shepard loves her even more. After searching for Huskies in our area we came across Rose Valley. We absolutely loved the option of adopting a retired dog, that’s just what we did! The process was so smooth and it didn’t take long for us to welcome our girl home. The communication was impeccable and the family was a pleasure to work with. Since we are relatively close to the Kennels, we chose to go pick up at the Kennel. With in 5 minutes of being at the Kennel our family fell in love with Aspen. Once Aspen got home, I realized I had questions I forgot to ask. It was so nice being able to call and get the validation and reassurance we needed. Comforting to knowing the communication stays open even when your pup is home, especially since they have known her best for seven years. You can tell these dogs are well taken care of. Our personal vet was blown away with Aspen’s demeanor and perfect health at 7 years old. We would highly recommend Rose Valley and strongly suggest not passing up the retired dogs! We will definitely be referring our friends and family.

We had such great experience with Rose Valley Kennel. Everything went so smooth and easy, we waited for our boy for a while until we were ready and Sarah made sure he went into the transporter’s hands safely when it was time to come home. The pup himself is so great, confident, social and just fit in so wonderful into our family. He had no problems traveling for 4 days and met our family easily.Sarah made sure we got the perfect puppy for our family and we are so happy we went with this breeder. We cannot wait to see this beautiful boy all grown up!

We just bought our Siberian Husky puppy, Charlie, from them and had a very good experience. He checked out well at the vet and is really starting to show us his silly, fun and loving husky personality. They had already started potty training him and it is still going very well at home. He is 6 months old and a perfect fit. He was suggested for our family by Sarah due to his cuddly and laid back personality and we have small children in the home. We couldn’t be happier! When you pull up, you can clearly see where the dogs are kept and cared for. By no means is this place a puppy mill like a couple of other reviews claim. We had a great experience.

I live in Gainesville, FL. In Dec of 2009 I purchased an Irish Setter puppy from RVK. In March of 2010 I got my puppy home, back then they could fly which was much easier than today. I named him Gator since I'm a UF graduate and alumni. Gator never had a health issue his entire life with me and was the absolute best friend anyone could ask for. I work for the University of Florida Athletic Association (UAA) and cant tell you how much Gator enjoyed going to sporting events with me. If it was Baseball or Softball he always brought a foul ball or home run ball back home with him. If it was a Football or Basketball game he would always sit in his chair and watch the games. When he would hear the word Gator he was so happy and excited. Unfortunately after almost 14 years of being my best friend and the biggest part of my life he passed away peacefully in my lap in his only home he ever knew. Losing him was beyond words for me and I will forever miss him. I'm single and don't do much besides work and come home. I decided that I needed a new best friend, so two weeks ago I talked to Sarah at RVK and told her my situation. Almost immediately she matched me up with a new Irish Setter that she said was a good ole soul and full of puppy energy. Sarah and Lola have never stirred me wrong and have now matched me again with a new best friend. I know that my first Irish Setter can never be replaced but, I have a new friend that will always be with me again. I can't tell you enough about how happy I am with RVK and I trust them without a doubt that they care about every puppy they bring into this world and put them into good loving homes with the best families possible. We picked up our sweet Irish Setter, Finn, in August of 2021. He is the sweetest little guy. He was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia last month and it was confirmed by our vet that there was nothing we could have done to prevent this disease from happening due to it being genetic. We even fed him the specific food our vet recommended to help prevent hip dysplasia since it is more common in large, fast growing dogs. While we are giving him proper supplements and taking him to physical therapy to keep him as healthy as we can, he will suffer with hip pain for the rest of his life. I reached out to Rose Valley Kennel just to let them know of the situation (mainly since they should no longer breed Finn’s parents since they carry this gene) but never heard a response. Very disheartening situation. Please ask for a hip screening before getting a dog from this breeder or your dog could run into this same terrible disease.

We had been contemplating on getting a puppy for quite some time and finally decided it was time to add to our family. Rose Valley Kennel's was very professional. I really liked how they took the time to get to know who you were with the questionnaire; they cared where the puppies were going and what kind of home they would be going into. We were kept updated on our puppy and when it came time to pick up our puppy; it went smoothly. We could not be happier with Fergie (Rassa-Kennel Name); she is a complete doll and brings a lot of joy and happiness into the home. We get compliments on their personality from every veterinarian and strangers who are familiar with dalmatians. Our family brought our setter home one month ago and we could not be more pleased with our puppy so far! She is healthy, friendly, and has the temperament we desired in a dog. I love my puppy! I picked up my Irish Setter puppy this past weekend and he has lived up to all expectations. My parents bought a Setter puppy from them 7 years ago and I grew up with him and I knew how much they cared for their puppies. When it came time to get my own, I couldn't think of a better place to get one. They were very responsive to all my emails and kept me updated throughout the entire process. We absolutely love our girl from Rose Valley Kennel! She is so smart and absolutely wonderful! Our vet says she is the best looking Dalmatian she has seen at her practice in over twenty years! We picked up our puppy from Rose Valley Kennel and were blown away by how nice the facilities were and how warm and welcoming Sarah and Lola were. They answered our millions of questions, gave us tips on settling in our girl, and gave advice on traveling back home with her. We've only had two accidents total in the two months we have had her and she already knows sit, stay, lay, and drop it! The whole process of getting Trulie was so easy and Sarah was there every step of the way to help us decide which puppy we wanted and how to go about getting her. I cannot say enough good things about Rose Valley Kennel!!!!! We will definitely be back to get our second puppy...and third...and fourth if my husband doesn't leave me first!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!If you do, it is at your own risk. We recently purchased a dog from them after multiple emails and conversations with them. Upon getting him home and arranging a puppy check up.with our local vet and going over the falsified documents they sent with us, we called them about the paper work and lack of registration for the AKC like they were advertised. Not only do they not provide actual medical history from a vet for vaccination, the rabies vaccination paperwork was incorrect. When we asked them about it, they said, "OH just call the vet and they might mail you a new one." We have still not been able to reach anyone at the vet they claim to use. The paperwork shows that he was up to date on vaccines and deworming, yet our vet tested his stool and found hookworm. Based on the amount in his stool and the time it takes for larva to show in stool, he has had it for weeks. We got him Sunday. They will not not answer or return my calls after multiple attempts. We were also told that he wast extensively socialized, and had been around cats. Neither of these were true. The first day he tried to attack one of our cats, and he acts terrified of everything, to the point we assumed he was abused. We were also told that he has a micro chip, and that it isnt transferable, however our vet assured me that they have never heard of this and if he gets out and scanned we will not be notified Rose Valley will. I have contacted PetLink, Crystal Tag, and LifeChip, all say they can be. After spending the money we did for our new dog we expected to have a clean bill of health for our new pup, but now have almost 600 dollars in vet bills and meds for him because they lied to us. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

This was our first time purchasing an animal rather than adopting and for me this was a decision I was sure to not take lightly. After doing lots of research and looking around I found Rose Valley Kennel. They were absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process of picking out and bringing home our new family member! They were informative, professional, responsible, quick with their responses and seem to take great care of their dogs. We were kept updated all along the way from birth to the day we picked our new puppy up. With the current COVID situation everything was made super easy and safe which is also greatly appreciated! Driving home to New York I would 100% make that trip again and believe it was so worth the journey. She is everything we were expecting and more!

We had the best experience adopting our setter Banjo. They gave numerous updates throughout the process before adopting and all information needed to help us know what to expect and what we needed. They gave a lot of attention to him when we got there preparing him for the flight home with us and giving him everything he needed.Banjo is now almost 5 months and we can now say that we truly don’t deserve a dog as good as he is. He has an amazing calm demeanor about him and loves to cuddle everyday. He has never bit us even as a puppy or while teething, just an extremely gentle and intentional doggo. He caught on to his training so well and we are still teaching him new things everyday. We hope to train him for bird hunting over the next few years.We simply can’t thank rose valley enough for all of their care, it definitely shows in their dogs. We love banjo so much and will always recommend Rose Valley to anyone looking for an Irish setter!

I think this is the right time to write a review for Rose valley Kennel.My Dalmatian is 5 months now, It's a beautiful dog, extremely calm and composed, very responsive, and obedient. I particularly got Dal because of their high energy and docile behavior. I have been taking my dog on hiking, an amazing travel buddy who walks side by side and responsive to verbal commands.Breeder did a great job by training him initially on comeback call and no jumping which is extremely helpful.I would also suggest people getting Dalmatians to match their energy, take them to walk regularly and take out 20-30 mins to play with them as they are high energy dogs and require physical activities.

We got our Stella girl (formerly Milan) from them a month ago and couldn't be happier. She adjusted and fit right in to our family immediately. She's smart as a whip, already picked up potty training, does great in her crate, and steals the show anywhere we go lol Seriously- people stop us everywhere and want to love on her, but really, how could I blame them- have you seen her face?! Buisness wise, The ladies at RVK were very communicative and the process was smooth. I got Mylles my husky 4 months ago. The overall process was very smooth. Sarah was really helpful and kept me updated with pictures. Mylles was potty trained and had no problem with the crate when we got him. He has grown a lot now and he is one of the sweetest boy. I would recommend rose valley to anyone.

As someone who was staunchly adopt-don't-shop, but who also really wanted a husky puppy, I was super nervous about going to a breeder. We did a lot of research on Rose Valley, but after going through the website and reading reviews, we decided it was the place to go! We got our baby, Inari (formerly Buffy), in April and she's been an absolute angel. They start training simple things while they're there; one of the things we've really appreciated is being used to being held! We cradle Inari like a baby and she barely wiggles. She definitely has husky energy but honestly, she's SO well-behaved as far as huskies go. If we ever get another baby, we'd definitely go here! The people were so nice and informative at pick-up as well :)

Rose Valley Kennel has been fantastic and easy to deal with. We brought home a beautiful Siberian Husky named Jane that we absolutely love. Jane came to us at 9 weeks old and already understood potty training very well, was healthy, and everything you would want out of a puppy. If anyone asks me where to get a husky I always tell them to go here. I had the pleasure of working with Sarah and she was so polite and patient with us as this was our first puppy. You can tell they care about the dogs through their adoption process. We also did a lot of research on them and their dogs are well treated, and their breeders are adopted at age 6. (that means they are not abusing and over breeding, and every dog there finds a loving home). We love our puppy!

My partner and I purchased a Siberian Husky puppy from Rose Valley back in January this year. Working with Sarah has been super amazing throughout the entire process. She responded to all of our emails within a day, and she gave us lots of great advice to prepare for our new puppy. She was extremely patient with us when we were picking up our pup in January after there had been a major ice storm a couple nights before our pickup day and the country roads around the kennel were still iced up. When we were unable to get our car to cooperate with the ice, she met us halfway to deliver the puppy.After reading reviews about the parvovirus claims, we immediately took the pup to the vet for a check-up and she was completely healthy and tested negative for parvo.Six months later, we were unable to get our pup spayed on time due to Covid-19. We contacted Sarah again and she was extremely understanding and allowed us the extra time needed to safely get our baby girl to the vet. A late spay fee could've been an easy cash grab for the kennel, but Sarah and Lola really do just care about the well-being of all their puppies in their new homes.Our pup is a super energetic, playful, excitable, friendly girl that's growing up to fit the breed standard wonderfully. She does amazing with people and other dogs, and she's just so loving and snuggly for a husky.Overall, this family-run kennel is an absolute pleasure to work with and they produce quality, adorable puppies with amazing temperament perfect for a lifetime companion. They care greatly about their puppies and encourage new parents to keep in touch, sort of like an extended family. We would gladly work with Rose Valley Kennel again in the future if they continue their Siberian Husky program for at least a few more years!

Adopted our sweet Dalmatian from Rose Valley Kennels on 12/4/20. They were extremely responsive and kept us informed on every detail throughout the process. We received their referral from the AKC. Our puppy is healthy and happy. We drove to pick her up and they were able to accommodate with safety under covid precautions. Our Dalmatian has great hearing and good temperament which is something to be mindful of when selecting a breeder. I feel very lucky to have found them and had a great experience. We drove in the night before and stayed at the Elmsin Excelsior Springs which was very nice and only 10 minutes away from this kennel.
