We love Dr Nowlin. She is fantastic with our pups and very caring. The techs are also very responsive which is great & treat all our dogs with care. The facility is fabulous and clean and is nice & roomy. The clinic is very good at itemizing and explaining what procedures are needed and the cost breakdown. They have been very good working with us on some of the more expensive procedures so we can make a plan to help lessen the financial impact. They also offer a variety of services from insurance to food.

It's been years now, but I forgot to rate, these people were amazing before they moved and after. Before they moved I had a pet rat they took care of, they were able to find a pea sized cyst in my little buddies neck, and remove it. He lived healthily for a couple years after. I can't thank them enough, they may be pricey compared to other vets, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Best place I've ever been, and I take all my animals there now ❤️

This is a great place for vaccinations and general issues. My aussie, Bailey, loves coming here and is never scared. I've never had an emergency, so I can't speak for that, but every time we've been here, they've went above and beyond! They are ALWAYS so good with him!

Took my cat in for a wellness exam and check for fleas. The staff was very professional and showed empathy towards my pet and myself. After the exam, the doctor clearly explained the results with professionalism and knowledge. Once done, the staff explained follow up care for my pet, again, with professionalism and kindness. The ES Animal Clinic also helped to seek medication at a lower price since I've recently retired and now on a fixed income. Once they found out I was a "senior citizen", they gave me the senior discount of which I knew nothing about. Thank you to the doctor for this added bonus. The staff also did a follow up call with results of the tests performed. Very professional and pleasant experience. Finally, the clinic was very clean and well organized. Thanks for a great experience.

I brought my kitten in for a wellness check and the vet was very knowledgeable about his breed. The staff were all very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. We just moved to Excelsior and I’m so relieved I found a great vet for all my babies!

The staff is very friendly from the beginning. They are very flexible on getting you in when needed and when you have an emergency. I really have enjoyed going here since moving from the last vet office we were at. Dr. Nowlin loves our two pups and is so patient with them, especially our little one that gets anxious at the vet. Also, very affordable. Definitely would recommend them to anyone!

I love these guys. They always take such good care of my little Morkie. The facility is brand new on the inside and they are very thorough. With that comes the extra cost.... thus the 4 stars.

My kitten had escaped the house and gotten Injured. This clinic took her immediately and looked after her and made sure she was ok. They were a little bit pricey but considering the circumstances and how quick and professional they were, I was happy to do it. Will most likely make this my full time vet clinic moving forward.

Every time I go to ESAC they treat my dogs like princesses. If they are sick, they make sure that I am always at ease when I leave with thorough instructions. They even called the next morning when my dog was sick to make sure she had improved. They board them when I’m on vacation. They are good to them. I feel at ease with the entire staff! They treat my dogs like their own. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.

We have been with the Excelsior Springs Animal Clinic since the 1980’s. They have always been so knowledgeable and caring for their clients and the pets. Now that they are in the new building(which is beautiful), it has remained the same. Very satisfied with their service.

Brought cat in. Lethargic and not eliminating for 2 days. She was profusely salivating. Doctor Johnston suggested a bunch of test. 900 dollars worth. 😲 I said lets start with an x-ray. The cat tends to eat odd stuff. Doc said she saw a grey mass.. Not sure what it was. She wanted to do surgery.. I said that's not an option. No surgery on a 4 month rescue cat. 2 days later went back for another x-ray. Mass gone only poop showing. I was given more pain meds and some Lactulose. In the beginning the cat got.. 3 cans of expensive cat food.. Probiotics.. And pain meds. Over $600 later.. Cat was constipated.. My normal vet Dr. Watkins was booked for 2 days. He never suggest all that at once. So Doctor Johnston.. Your new.. Dont try and drain us of our bank accounts because we love our pets. PS the staff are excellent.. Thank you!!
