This Aldi is HUGE!!! The biggest one that I have been inside. So many aisles and they had so much stuff on clearance too. Wasn’t too busy on a Tuesday afternoon. Staff is quiet but kind of polite. Fully stocked shelves and very clean inside.

My local Aldi grocery store is an absolute lifesaver! Compared to the nearby Liberty location, it's a breath of fresh air—literally! Hit or miss. Shelves have items or completely empty... came to get bananas. I bought nothing.Past review:Love the cashiers! Great customer service- always friendly. Clean and organized! Love the new store it's much bigger in a great location and more products available! Love this store and the convenience. And I still love that when you pull in there are not carts everywhere in the parking lot!

We are so fortunate to have an ALDI in Excelsior! Less than five years old, it is a state of the art store and huge compared to what we used to have. Our community members are grateful for fresh fruits and vegetables, not to mention, lower prices!

Aldis prices used to be a lot better, that being said, inflation devastated everyone. There is still several items we try to only buy here and get in bulk. Things like Clancy chips, canned veggies, and generic snacks.

When you are on a budget but don't want to compromise quality or taste then I would highly recommend Aldis. Store is clean and checking out is quick. You do have to bring your own bags or box to box up groceries or you can purchase bags for like 5 cents each. It takes a quarter to get a grocery cart so make sure you have one handy. You do get it back once you bring the shopping cart back. The veggies and fruit are always fresh. Love this place and shop there frequently.

I've been less than thrilled with the check out process lately. I always place my stuff in an organized way, grouping like items together on the belt. By the time I get to the other end the cashier has carelessly thrown my groceries into the cart crushing bread, cereal, crackers and fresh produce with canned goods, milk and other heavy items. It's frustrating.

Great prices. Love the expanded produce department. The frozen food has awesome selections. My only suggestion for improvement is to hire friendlier cashiers. Doesn't seem to matter when I go, what day or time, the cashiers never smile. They act very much like they are doing you a favor by doing their job. If I had to pick one word to describe them it would be surly.

This is my 1# grocery store! Nice new store, neat and clean, with super good prices! Love how you can walk out of here with a cart full of groceries, without spending way too much money!I took off one star because of the produce... it all looks lovely and well stocked, but be aware! Look carefully for mold or “bad spots” before you buy any produce here! Even having done that, their lettuce has disappointed me many a time with its short life span... it’s not worth paying less for it if you have to throw half of it away!

Nice store with great prices! Would give it more stars if if it would be faster to check out. Seems slightly understaffed, there are 6 checkout lanes and often only 1 person , maybe 2 checking out. If this improves I’ll give more stars.

* Initial 3 star review* Lots of the fruit and produce is average to below average in quality. However the prices are great. The main problem I have is based on check out. Some of the checkers slam your merchandise into the cart. I've had bruised peaches, Apples, Avacados, even bread kinda smashed. When I confronted one of these people, they kinda freaked out a little. She said, "it's how we were trained, to go fast". Well if they trained you to toss merchandise from a foot above a hard metal basket into the bottom, then your training sucks.They have many great deals of food for less cost than Walmart. Some good some bad. The store is a 3 out of 5 in my opinion. I shop there 2-3 times a week. The manager is always on the side of the building smoking, but have a very large policy on how many breaks you get a day.*****Now a new location and the store is amazing***** Same manager who smokes out back all day every day! The aisles are wide, the stock is amazing. All sorts of imports from Germany, France, and various European countries. The prices are fantastic, and the quality of meats is amazing. The veg and fruit has to be checked through to make sure you pick the best stuff, but the food is great! ALDIs is my favorite place to shop locally, and the prices are fantastic. F- Walmart!

Some items good some not so good. They use to have eggs fairly cheap, now they cost more than any place else! I saw today they were $2.00 a dozen, I bought a box of 60 at Walmart in Independence, Missouri for $2.40! Produce is always old looking, and most of the time they don’t have the meat that was advertised!

I absolutely love the new location! Everything is organized and easy to find, the prices beat the local grocery stores hands down (WalMart, Price Chopper), and it's never so busy as to be a nuisance to shop and get out. There's been an Aldis here since I can remember, but I'm so glad they decided to expand into a larger store in a new location.

We took a pleasant 16-mile drive from Richmond to get to this store. We just moved from Columbia. We were surprised at the full-length non-food aisle.We found the store to be clean except for the oily parking lot out front. Also found the orientation of the parking lot to be inconvenient. If the cars would be parallel to the store, it would be more equitable to the customers.We love ALDI, wish Richmond or Lexington had one.

Always very clean. The staff are helpful and nice. There is a veriety of differant foods. They have some good deals weekly. The cheesecake veriety pack is one if my family's favorites. We get all the things we need. They have a nice selection of alcoholic beverages. Wines and more. Meat, cheese, cereal, fruit, breads, and so on. Like most grocery stores. The prices are mostly good. As with most stores there are some higher prices. Hubby likes the chocolates.

This store is so modern and new. The selection is amazing. You never know what you will find. The prices are great. For those with young children the cart has a place for two children to ride and be strapped in. Such an upgrade from the old store.

This place is the best grocery outlet in Excelsior Springs. New, clean, well stocked and friendly. Of course it's not Walmart with a huge selection of every product, but making a quick trip to pick up a few things will not only be easy, but it will save me a few bucks. I'm especially fond of the German themed foods. No doubt it has brought down my food expenses since they opened. I don't mind bringing my own bags. That is what I do wherever I shop.
