Update: 7.25.2023It appears the store has new owners. They seem to be changing the layout of the store. They have added gaming machines. And they have a lot of different hard liquor. They have little groceries. Their shelves seem to be empty often. They definitely do not have the same atmosphere as the previous 2 owners have had. In the past, you felt the small town, family environment. Now. That feeling has gone away.They have no public bathroom.Customer service is mediocre.The whole store environment has changed.This is a local grocery store in a, somewhat, small town. It is priced accordingly for a small town grocery store. It is a clean and organized store. The people are friendly and helpful. They always show curtousy to me when I am in there. I have not ever seen any employee or management get out of sorts with anyone. They are always smiling. Even when they are busy. Downright hometown friendly.No public restrooms though.

There wasn’t hardly any groceries in the store. Zero beef… What happened? I was up here 2 years ago and it was fine.

Prices are high, but their high everywhere. The workers were very kind and helpful. The deli meat is delicious can't wait to try the chicken 🐔

Shopped at the Elsberry IGA for the first time a few days ago and was checked out by a young man named Leo. Super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Give that young man a raise.

Honestly the people there were so pleasant and welcoming, all very helpful! We did get some turkey deli meat though, that made my husband sick. Other than they I have nothing bad to say about them.

Always service with a smile! Very helpful, and considerate. I love walking into their store knowing I'm going to be treated like a friend. Elias and his family are some very kind hearted and generous people. The world needs more people like them.

They have a surprising variety of product for a small town grocer. The fresh meat is nicely presented, the butcher is willing to work with you on what cuts you need, the deli has great meats and cheese and serves fresh food as well. The owners are always present and friendly. They are an asset to the town of Elsberry.

I absolutely love the new owners! Alias and his family have the greatest customer service and people skills. Yes sometimes is more expensive then Walmart but that's how it is when you support your local grocery store. I love them

The storm owners and the employees are great! Plus they are getting more Sal free or low sodium products for those of us that have high blood pressure or Congestive Heart Failure or both. That is awesome. Thank you all so much!

Good food, friendly people, and good prices! The meat is amazing! People are very helpful as well. My grandma lost her debit card there for a good month and returned it to her safely.

Quintessential small town grocery. At any given time you can find the owner at a register checking out customers or helping load their bags into their cars. And he knows nearly every one by name.

Everything is way OVER PRICED IT'S NONSENSE i mean there food is not made of gold they really need to get over there over themselves an realize real people live there an not all people have much money.. They should make things more affordable for real people even more so for the people who are unable to work... If i could give 0 star's i most definitely would...
