2 stars for better Asian/Hispanic than Wal-Mart around here. Overall better food choices and semi consistent good customer service.Why not higher than 2? Check out the photos attached, an employee at the deli didn't even say hi to us, didn't ask us what we wanted and had the nerve to STILL charge us full price for contaminated salami with plastic on it. I asked him if that's plastic that's left on and he said yeah he forgot to cut it off. Not even a sorry nor offer to replace it... Oh and check out their clearance, it's not half bad.

A rather pleasant job completely ruined by incompetent management. I admire corporate for hiring the mentally handicapped but make them work for you, not with you. I don't know if nepotism is at play here but Randy makes Carl from "Sling Blade" look like Nikola Tesla in comparison. We've lost too many competent workers because of him.

Appalled at the lack of care given to the customers. Twice this week, I've had my produce entered incorrectly. Paying almost triple the amount of the items. I called to speak with them about this but can never get anyone on the phone. This place has really gone downhill. Everything is extremely overpriced and has a horrible selection.

People are nice, but wish it was Paul's again. Prices dont even come close to other stores around. Leaving meat to freezer burn before you mark it down and still not enough to sale. I've thrown away better looking meat. Deli sides must be made of gold with how they are priced. Wont be doing much business with them if they keep it that way. Was better when they had a meat department . At this point I can almost eat out for what they are charging and be better off. Keep your overpriced freezer burned meat.

It's one of my go to grocery store. They have excellent produce and there's a 2 for $5 sales in produce. I was approached by an employee asking if I was finding what I was looking for, it was nice, I felt important to them to be so concerned.

Came in to get a small cheap lunch. I asked for less than a quarter pound of pea salad and two chicken strips. Mind you the chicken strips were pathetic looking. The nice lady behind the counter rang me up and the total was almost $8. I declined the chicken which was no big deal went ahead and bought the pea salad. Got home tried it and it was equally disgusting. Definitely not going to try their deli anymore nor I probably shop there because their prices are absolutely ridiculous especially for the quality.

Prices in general are higher than necessary. Since they reopened after being closed for a much longer period of time than any other place, even in areas hit harder by the offending tornado, I come out of the store with what I can only think of as "receipt shock" I have given it a few tries hoping prices would become more even with store competitors but I've been disappointed. I doubt Woods will be my 'go to" store for groceries in locally like it was before.

Fairly typical grocery store as far as choices go, but the service is usually above and beyond. They stopped carrying something I wanted, so I spoke with someone at the front who brought the manager. He said he would get with his supplier and see if they could start stocking it again, and sure enough they did. That kind of service, for 1 individual shows me what kind of business they are.

Nice grocery store. Prices are higher than others in town but can sometimes have a better selection. They have better meat selection than others in town as well. Also have a huge beer, wine and liquor selection with decent prices. Main downside is the store is hard to find things in. Not very well laid out. Other wise it is a good choice for groceries

Sad news that they fired everyone in there meat department. One of the good things about this store was the freshness of there meat, now all there meat will be frozen, it makes my heart so sad.Also they are installing a self check out. I miss the day where we can get freash meat and dont have to be our own casheer also.

Great selection of food. Very helpful and friendly staff. I had a lot of groceries and they were happy to help me to my car without me asking.I bought ice and walked out of store forgetting it. The cashier came out with my ice.

I called them to find out if they carried my child's baby formula bc everywhere else is sold out. The woman I spoke with said there was one on the shelf, she would put up for me, and asked how many cans my WIC covers bc they are getting a truck later. I told her 7, and she told me if the truck delivered it, she will put 7 cans aside for me to pick up when I come to Eldon later!! Made me so happy!

I had the best experience, I was getting WIC and they were the warmest and nicest associates I've ever met. They helped me find things and even substituted things that I needed. It was the best experience I've ever had at any store doing wic. They deserve more than 5 stars. Thank you guys so much.

Saturday in an hour's notice, I called Woods to see if they could possibly make me a two-tiered wedding cake. Yes, an hours notice! We had a bad experience with a local bakery.Not only were they able to get us a cake ready in an hour, but it was beautifully decorated with the colors of the wedding and everything! They aimed to please and they succeeded! Thank you Woods for your service!

Woods was the best place in eldon to eat lunch. Now it sucks.you need to change back to your old vender. Summer is coming and only having hot food will be a turn off. And the deli prices are kind of crazy what was 5$ is now 8.

They have all the last minute items you forgot or waited to buy before coming to the lake. Everyone is friendly, their prices aren't sky high and they carry all the meats, beer, groceries & pharmacy items you're looking for.

I use Woods in Eldon quite a bit for wholesale groceries. They do really good at ordering large amounts especially in the meat market. Their prices on shelf items are a little higher but wholesale they do very good

Great place to shop for gorcerys. The prices were fair to low when considering other store's to this one. The produce was fresh and well kept. The meat department was well organized and kept looking clean.

This is the best grocery store chain in the area. It has the best milk in the area. It has the best meat in the area. It has the best deli in the area. It is way better then hyvee. I would recommend this store to all of my friends and family. I love this store

Woods always has the things i need and the prices are fair along with there sales woods is about the best place to shop in Eldon mo. At least for food there meat looks fresh as is produce and other products .they have a good verity of every thing so it one of the best stores in Eldon at this time.
