Came on here to see if by chance the restaurant was open yet cuz I haven't been through this way in quite a while. Little discouraged for some of the comments people are leaving here. I've been to plenty of truck stops where they're not even trying. Not the case here. Been a lot of progress and can't wait to see the finished product. This will always be one of my main stops. Great prices and always friendly service. I can't wait for the restaurant to reopen, keep up the good work. Love the little guys over the big chains❤️

The parking area is a mud hole. I didn't even go inside. As I was walking up I asked another driver if the restaurant was open (it being Sunday 1/28/24. He indicated that it's being remodeled so no restaurant. I walked back to my truck. There's nothing here for you driver, better to go across the 35 to the love's. This one will be gone soon as the remodel is rumored to take a couple of years! I wouldn't go back

The owner's reply was so well written and genuine that I had to reassess my review and add stars. I never gave it any thought that the gas prices here were indeed such a bargain. And in hind sight, the two cashiers up front were very personable and friendly. Any American that stands up for their neighbors and community the way that you did is something special. Thank you for the insight and please accept my apology as I have obviously had a misplaced experience.

Well honestly I have done some remodels in my life and I have to say I probably would have bulldozed this and started over. However though I fully understand remodeling and working to make it a better place the condition of the bathrooms I turned around and immediately left reaked of urine and the bottoms of the cinder block wall is crumbling so it's been "wet" for a long time sorry it's not going to be on my travels anytime soon.

Do not stop here. It's not even worth it for a place to park. Fuel pumps might work might not. No more restaurant the place is basically gutted and cluttered. No food except junk. My wife wouldn't even use the bathroom, the men's was half working 1 toilet 1 urinal and 1 sink out of 2 of each worked. No paper towels and the lady behind the counter said oh well we don't have any. Used to be a great stop years ago. Now I'll never even attempt to stop here again. I'm an otr owner operator and would rather give the small mom and pop places my business but not this one anymore!

We only used the ladies room and immediately we saw the stall doors weren't even long enough to cover the bottom half of the toilet. It felt exposing and purposeful. We saw there were holes indicating that at one point there were longer doors but instead opted for something more revealing and across the stalls we're multiple holes in the brick wall. Very sketchy feeling. Personally when I use the restroom I don't want the entire bathroom to see my genitals. And for reference I'm not a tall woman, I'm only 5'4.

I try olanning my trip to makw a fuel stop n eat a delicious ho.emade tasting hot roast beef sandwich with 2 side dishes included n you can even ordet only half sandwich if a whole is too much but it's soooo good ya'll will want to orderthe whole sandwich! Great service n froendly folks stop into tbis truck stop! Besides taking time to look n purchase few fireworks from next door is a plus for the next coming up July 4th fun!

Best prices for tobacco products I've found. The restuarant is amazing. The 5 egg scrambler is the size of the steering wheel in my semi and delicious. Parking lot is large but dirt and not real well organized.

They got plenty of truck parking When to try to find something to eat about 9 o'clock tonight not really anything So I got a bottle water price was reasonable for the water I asked if they were innovating the cashier behind the counter said that it had been like this for a year no heat no winter and no air in the summer It would look like it would be a nice place to stop if they would finish their projects no soda fountain nothing It's not a bad place they just need to get moving on getting their stuff done or whatever they're doing I wouldn't recommend stopping here with a family

We tried 2 different gas pumps and both either froze or declined immediately. After buying gas inside, the gas station left a pre-authorization on our bank account for $74.00. I spoke with the manager and they said there wasn't anything they could do till the charge fell off in 3-5 days. Clearly their equipment and payment processing has a few bugs to work out.

Well I was not impressed! I ordered a taco salad! The meat was way over cooked the seasoning was way to much! I also preferred a cup of soup which was bean and ham( or that is what she said it was). Came in a foam cup no crackers and no flavor! And a side of cottage cheese! Needless to say the shell was over cooked! I arrive at 7:20 pm, finished my dinner which arrived 35 minutes after I sat down! I ate only because I was hungry! I went back out to my truck and within a half hour I tossed up my dinner! I paid for my meal but was very disappointed in how things went! Let me explain! Common sense! What I ordered was simple! She should have brought me the cottage cheese and soup first, while the kitchen was making my salad! Then brought me the salad! The soup had no seasoning what so ever! The taco shell was over cooked! I touched it and I crumbled on the plate! This is my second time eating here and it was night and day different! I left the correct tip for a waitress that basically ignored me!

Neat place to stop in, rest and get a bite. I like the old school feel. We really need to support places like this. They are just like us independents, and not some faceless box store truck stops. The food was good as was the service. I rather see my money go to something like this, than those greedy big places that treat us like garbage.

Had the tenderloin sandwhich. It was delicious and great portion size. Husband had the cowboy burger, he said it was delightful. And I love the thin fries. Service was mediocre, not very friendly but we didn't have to wait long and the food did not disappoint!

I remember this restaurant was the most amazing home cooking... my grandmother worked here years ago.. I was a happening place. Today it was the most disgusting food I’ve ever had put in front of me at a restaurant... the only thing that was good were the eggs and the English muffin even though it was barely toasted. I received 1/4 cup of hard burnt no flavor hash..1/4 cup of hasbrowns tasted like grease sticks and were hard as rocks the French fries my daughter received were disgusting... like three day old fries the Belgium waffle was possible freezer burnt and fluffy they called it... um no gross. Coffee was like dirty water. The only thing that was real was my sprite. I will be contacting this manager/owner . My waitress, Shandra was sweet and kind and just amazing! She will be getting a tip but only because she was pleasant and gave me a discount because of the disgusting food from the cook! Thank you Shandra♥️Worst restaurant ever!

This is an old school truck stop and I give a big thanks for keeping it that way. All personal we encountered had a great attitude. It’s been awhile since I’ve been in these parts and I have missed places like this. If you’re hungry for breakfast I highly recommend the driver special and it was made to perfection. A great big thanks to Eagleville Travel Center.

Have been coming here for years. Yes, I know the original owners sold it a year ago. Well today will be the last time ever stopping here. First the dark haired waitress has a major nose picking problem. Yes, very gross! Thank goodness the other blonde waitress was to busy chatting with the locals to even bring our drink order after 15 minutes waiting on her to come back with waters. So we did what anyone with self respect does, we left. They will never see another dime from our hard working money in that place. Which as I see now from other reviewers the food is not good anymore either.

We were passing through with RV and stopped for fuel. Tried the cafe while there and food was excellent. The service was absolutely OUTSTANDING!, our server (young blonde gal) was one of the best I’ve seen! Classic truck stop, a little rough on the outside but a great place to dine. Thank you!

I had lunch at the Dinner Bell Café. The place is clean and the food was delicious.I had the lasagna for lunch. Came with a nice side salad and garlic bread.The parking lot is full of potholes. The roof over the fuel pumps has caved in over a couple pumps....Don’t let the outside of this place scare you from stopping.

This used to be a good place to eat until it changed ownership a while back. The last time I was here, we waited for over an hour for our food, the orders where messed up, and the family behind us never got their fries. The staff is friendly enough. I won't be eating here again. If you Want good food, go to the Stackhouse across the road from Lowe's.
