We have driven by this place for many years and decided to stop in. We go on many road trips and always enjoy old general stores and antique shops.I would not classify this establishment as a general store—it’s more like a throwback to Sanford & Son without Fred’s personality. The first thing we saw when we walked in was a Dauchsin locked in a display case with a little dog bed. The owner came in shortly, put his other Dauchsin in there, opened his laptop, and fixed his eyes on the security camera feeds so we didn’t steal anything. My two young children and I are pretty sketchy, I guess.There is a little bit of everything here. The prices are very high for what they are. I mean, VERY high. As we were finishing up, I said, “Hello! How are you?” to the owner. The guy didn’t even bother to look up and gave the least little nod you have ever seen. I put our items down and left.

Dutzow General Store is open Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This place is packed with great deals on just about every thing you can imagine l highly recommend it

Glad we stopped -this was a neat store. I am unsure if this store consistently experiences sewage issue or just at the time we were visiting; there was a noticeable malodor,,, I might suggest wearing a mask if you are sensitive to sensory issues.

This is a cute little treasure hidden away in the little town of Dutzow, MO. This shop has two floors packed full of things for sale. There are new items, vintage items, antique items and weird/unusual things. If you need a gift, you could find one here. It is close to the Katie Trail. So if you need something stop on in. It is a gift/treasure shop, not groceries. But there are some little snacks in case you have a sweet tooth. There are different vendor booths, too. The prices are very reasonable. Every time I go, there are different things that have been added. It is definitely worth the stop.

Was very interested in purchasing some items yet didn't. When I asked where the restroom was I was informed that I have to drive to Washington that he didn't allow customers to use the bathroom.I then asked how we got there and he said that way or that way, not even looking up. He lost a $350 purchase because he doesn't want customers using his restroom, very bad business move. I've owned several businesses one for over 20 years sometimes you have to provide some customer service when you own a business, it's not happening here. Look like what kind of story I actually liked but how insulting so you take my money but it won't provide any customer service, no thank you.
