I've seen worse stores, it's clean yes, it's somewhat stocked with not very much variety at all (especially the baby section), and the staff at least greets the customers and checks in to see if your finding everything ok if your in there for more than 5 minutes. But I applied on indeed for the associates position and the assistant manager position they have had posted for months, when I went in the third day and finally caught the store manager after one employee told me on the first day she wasn't in and wouldn't tell me when she would, the second day another employee told me she would be in the next day around 5 or 6am depending on how she felt but they don't open till 8.... So finally the third day at about 8:10 I went in and asked the manager about the jobs and she told me they were full and have been full, and that The reason that they were cutting store hours was because everyone was getting sick...I had to go back in the store later that day for laundry detergent and it was only the manager and the one associate still working. The associate ringing someone up and the manager counting down the only other drawer at like 1 in the afternoon. It wasn't till the person who was being ran up in front of me that the manager said she supposed she could log in under another associate to ring me up... Her tone was very put out and reluctant, so I said I didn't mind waiting, and before I could finish the sentence the other customer was back. I have been on 3 different job search sites since then and only one has they're listing removed. It's pretty sad that they don't have the common courtesy for they're customer's time and treat customers like they're interrupting they're work when they're ready to check up. And it's pretty unprofessional to tell someone responding to a job listing after 3 days trying to speak with a manager that the team is full but there is only one employee aside from the manager working, and they don't take down the job ad... I think they're sick of customer service being part of they're job instead of having a cold or COVID... But that's just my opinion, which is why they get at least 2 stars.

I am grateful to have a Dollar General in our town! I can't say they have everything, but it sure saves a lot of fuel and time having one in Drexel! No complaints here...and it is nice that they are open til 10pm!Most, if not all of the employees are helpful and friendly,(I doubt I have met them all) 😉👍

They are wonderful, they don't gawk at you like Walmart does. You can't just look around or take your time before someone thinks your going to steal something. It's getting to be where i don't even want to go to one anymore..

This small town location is the best! Employees including management are awesome! Always willing to help with anything including checking the back when it's not on the shelf. Very friendly.

My experience is they never keep they're shelves stocked enough and i cant fund alot of things that i come in there to buy it makes me so mad like propel the original stuff and they never have enough code red mountain dew they always short and i have to wait till they reorder it in again . and they're gel pens never have a variety of colors just a few .you have to buy two or three different pens to get part of what you want . there are more. But the people there are good and they are friendly. But they dont have alot of things that they should already have on the shelf and they dont. And all the diet products that help people to lose weight they dont have any of those either like stackers three in pill form. In a bottle . i wish they would get more stuff in and on the shelfs . yeah it would help alot. They do have some things but not alot of it they always need more than they order .they run out before the sale is over . just wish it was better .its ok but they do need more to go on than what they have. Because its not enough . but as far as the store its good .just needs more improvement . i dont think its bad but needs help .

Store is a necessary part of this community, however it does need adult supervision. Music too loud, with employees singing to the radio. Not evil, but a bit unbusinesslike.

We tried to call 3 times today around 2pm, and whoever answered the phone hung up on us all 3 times. Great service... The last time, they answered and just set the phone down. Tried to call a 4th time and it was just a busy signal.

Newly remodeled and renovation is awesome, they have more of what I would go to another store for and now I can get it there.

They never have what we need when we ask they say yes it's in stock maybe we get out few days they are really rude I don't like the way dollar stores in this area they are very rude and mean
