Seriously over-priced. I can drive the 30 miles to a Super Walmart (which I despise) and still spend less on gas and groceries.This, by the way, is a reflection on Harp's policies and not the people working in the store.

If you are here to float the river, you can find a lot of river items here like floats, overpriced and poorly made water shoes, no SPF water shirts, however, string, coolers, beer, they even have kayaks, if you just have to have one and want to spend a lot of money on one. Large parking lot and there is also a gas station attached to the Harps store.

No options, over priced, the delis food have gone downhill since harps has taken. But I must say the guys in the meat department do a pretty good job. But since there's no competitors they just overpriced everything.

The prices are horrendously High and the selection is horrible. They seem to have done away with most of the off brands so you have to buy the expensive name brands. They have a monopoly in our town so no other grocery store can come in. In other words they suck!

Only store in Doniphan, charge more than Wal Mart or Aldi’s on certain items.Not enough check out lines during busy times.

I used to go to harps for all my needs but I must say every since they have new people running the place, I have received quite a different welcoming there. U pay more and u get treated like they just don't care if your there or not. I go to Poplar Bluff for my grocery now. Takes a little more time but it's easier ( for me ) to stay in a proper mood. Take the good with the bad I like to think. Instead of all bad. I just went and bought 1 pound of cheese and asked for it to b cut thin. I weighed the difference between the cheese and the paper and I payed more for the paper than I did the cheese. They gave me 55 percent paper and 45 percent cheese on a 1 pound order. I'll never go back. U all have a blessed day...SincerelyPJ Leonard

Need new management. Or managers should listen to workers doing there job. At the end of the day all said. I don't feel customers get what they deserve. Already paying higher prices for small community n convenience. Least give customers what they are entitled to.

Employees seem depressed, and probably rightfully so. Prices are outrageous. Selection is poor on non-processed food. Produce items are either decaying or on the literal cusp of doing so. Everyone in town complains about these peoples prices and service. I make the drive to Bluff walmart once a week and save at least 100 dollars on my list.

I found prices fair for not having to drive to the Bluff, but THE CASHIERS ARE RUDE, they chat among themselves and when bagging they pay no attention to the customer, ie age, disability, the amount that person can carry in each bag. Also as a senior who now moves a little slower, and one day they will all be there, they just keep pushing the carousel around and if that gets full they pile bags on top, instead of helping.Where have our work ethic and our manners gone?

I used to LOVE Harp's and wouldn't go anywhere else. With the new location andnew "management" who can't keep the shelves stocked or special order what you need, I often drive an extra 30 miles to go to a decent grocery store. I recoup what I spend in gas by avoiding the price gouging mentioned in the other comments. Almost $9 for a block of cheese I pay $5 for at Wally's. In addition, the staff used to be SO friendly and attentive, now sometimes, it's hard to interrupt their private conversations just to check out.

Nice store. Only store in town so prices are a bit high. Still nice people that work there. Myself I don't buy all my food their. I go into poplar bluff. Where there are many other options of stores to choose from at lower prices!

Prices can be a little high depending on the item, but otherwise fair. Meat prices are real decent, and there are always sales. With the new store they brought a very pleasant and clean shopping experience to small town Doniphan.

As I said before, I like harps, yes you pay 10% at register, and bag your own groceries but that doesn't bother me, I can pack my stuff the way I like, but oh well, life goes on,
