I went in to get a few gift cards for my son's teachers. I walked in and the person working was all smiles, very kind and explained the drink menu with detail. I walked out with a coffee and a blueberry cake that I was not expecting to get, but was so darn good!! I'll be back in the near future to try other drinks from my new favorite coffee shop!!

Absolutely phenomenal goodies!I got a lavender-honey-lemon, a vanilla-orange and a mocha cupcake. There was real lemon or orange peel (or coffee!) in the delicate and fragrant cakes, and the icing was a phenomenal fluffy swirl (pretty sure there was cream cheese in there!). They were normal-sized cupcakes, not the gigantic ones you see sometimes, so I did not feel bad when I ate all three in one day. 😁The blackberry-raspberry bread and raspberry bread were both amazing. They were sold in thick slices, and the bread was tender and cake-like, but not overly sweet, and had lots of whole berries throughout.I didn’t get any, but they have lots of coffees and flavorings that you can get.Everything looked beautiful and tasted so good! This is certainly a place I will keep on my list and when I travel around Missouri, and you should too! Even if you have to go a little bit out of your way, this place is worth it!

Was in the other day, my drink tasted very weak and was almost the color of milk. So I decided to give them another try bc the girl in there was very nice. The owner however said “we get it, you didn’t like it” as I was explaining to the girl behind her(who made my drink last time) what I had just told the owner. Apparently she was finished hearing my very polite and light hearted complaint. I even told the other girl “it’s not your fault no worries” bc she remembered me. Not once was I rude to you but that was very rude of you to say. I was gracious enough to come back to your business after that nasty salty caramel milk I was served last time and you have an attitude.Don’t gotta tell me twice, I spend way too much at Starbucks every single morning so was trying to support local instead but unfortunately the owner is a witch. 0/10

Even during these more difficult times, where the effects of covid and economic struggle are easy to see, Just Be Kind Cafe can not possibly be a better example of the heart of a community. Located right in the middle of town, in an old historic building absolutely covered with color and joy inside and out, you'll find this absolute gem. But don't let the name fool you! While this place has coffee and drinks of every kind that will put any competitor to shame, the owner also keeps the display cases packed full of absolutely unparalleled baked goods. Be your taste cookies, cupcakes, or a simple slice of lemon cake, this place has it by the dozen and they're always happy to accommodate any way they can and provide memorable, unparalleled service.But wait, there's more! Seriously Amazing! Maryann is hands down amazing! You walk in to this beautiful little corner coffee shop with so much character. The aroma of fresh baked sweets and coffee filling the air. Her gourmet hot chocolate is the perfect addition if you aren't a coffee drinker. the cupcakes taste just as good as they look and that's saying something because each cupcake is beautifully decorated. Just one of my favorite places in this small town!

Wasn’t able to try it sadly bc there were 8 people waiting for their drinks and the speed at which the only person making drinks was moving was…. not matching how many people were waiting. If you’re not able to keep up something I have had to do is pre-pull some shots and hold them in a thermos of some sort. Then FIFO obviously. There’s no real difference between one pulled just now and one pulled 20 mins ago. That and physically just moving faster would be my suggestions bc I’m sure people low on time know to avoid the spot and that sucks for the business.

first time there & the espresso machine was broken aha. the lady was nice & suggested other beverages. pretty good selection of treats. ended up getting a pumpkin muffin & a small cold brew with butter pecan, it was pretty good. might go back if i’m back in desoto. :)

First of all, this small business has an atmosphere that reflects the company’s name. It is a great place to go for an hour while enjoying a great selection of coffee beverages when things have been stressful. I’ve found that you feel a lot better and refreshed when you leave.Secondly, the employees are great. And, go the extra mile to cater to your preferences. For, example, I’m not fond of drinking a hot “Chai Tea Latte”, nor do I like the said drink to the point where you end up getting a bit more ice than beverage. The employee went far and beyond to get the drink perfected on her first try. Also, the “Tax Evasion” drink that they sell is amazing.Last of all, I would like to reiterate how great the atmosphere in the cafe. And, that I’ve found this shop at the same level as my Columbia, Dallas, Miami, and NYC coffee shops that I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. It’s great having such a treasure in a small town.

First time visiting after seeing it a few times on Main Street.The cutest coffee shop in the area with a warm, welcoming vibe as soon as you walk through the doors. I loved the chalkboard with the drinks on it and the other decor items that tied the whole place together.My husband got the special drink “Luck of the Iris” and the chocolate drizzle brownie with pecans. I ordered the chai latte with oat milk as well as the lemon poppy seed slice with icing. We were truly blown away with how amazing everything tasted!My husband is quite picky with how sweet his drinks are and the owner nailed making the drink *perfectly*.She is so sweet and does a very good job, I will be coming back when I’m craving a drink and something sweet

I’ve been to this cafe several times before and I have never had a negative experience! There is a wide range of options for desserts and syrups to create different Italian sodas. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and all the employees are incredibly kind and always willing to help. I love stopping here whenever I am on Main Street!

Amazing cafe, the flavors are SERIOUSLY out of this world! I live an hour away and my friend works here. She kept telling me to come in and I finally did! Very nice owner and wonderful family owned place. The desserts are amazing, I bought 8 cupcakes to bring to a family function and they were a hit! My favorite coffee flavor is definitely the "Smoked Cherry Amereto." Love it and of course will recommend and will be back!

Today was my first time here and I fell in love! The owner was very friendly and helpful, yet patient. I never felt rushed as I slowly browsed through all they had to offer. The owner is ABSOLUTLY AMAZING!!! The coffee is amazing with so many flavors. Super kind and really takes time out of her day to get to know everyone who walks into her shop! Has so many amazing baked goods and I am always one for small business this one has me forsure not just the coffee but CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If you want to walk out smiling go here! I just moved to DeSoto and this is my new go to coffee house! I have seriously only went a handful of times and she remembered me like the second time i walked in.
