This place is always cluttered and messy to start. Hard to find anything when there’s massive carts of boxes scattered all through the store. I also think it’s horrible customer service to refuse to let a pregnant lady use the restroom. Basic human decency goes a long way in retail.

Employees were not helpful when asked where certain items were. They were rude kept rolling their eyes, sighing, slinging his arms around literally kicked me out the door before the items were being purchased. They have no prior work in customer service jobs because I can tell you right now that, you don't treat customers like that ever in any job!!!

The only man their that was nice to me was a man named chis working the cash register. Their were two older wemon working with with him you seemed like they hated their job giving me the worst audited about a bag that's Literally 12 inches long... come to find out win I got back to the laundry mate a friend of mind got kicked out because her Purse was in a shape of a backpack that's smaller than the one I had. Sorry I work a carnival and I know how big it is for business when people feel welcomed and this was just bull

Exceptionally rude. Not helpful, no discretion or common sense about store policy's.If you can't tell the difference between a purse and a backpack you probably shouldn't be in a position to enforce any rules.

Don't stop just keep going and find the other ones!!! It's turned into the worst Dollar Store ive ever been in.And yes the people that sooooo called work there are very,very rude!!! It use to be real nice years ago.Its gone to hell for sure🙄

The old blond that does nothing is the rudest person ever. She is lazy and will not help with anything. I will no longer shop here because she is rude and I have seen people steal from that store while she works because she never leaves the register. Worst customer service ever.

Worst DG in the world. Can’t find anything because all of the isles are lined with new product carts. Have to move them yourself to find anything. Filthy.

The store is far too crowded; small aisles make getting around other customers extremely challenging, and stock carts are left in the way, blocking some aisles. Also, the staff in every single Dollar General I have visited, could stand to have a refresher course in pleasant customer service skills.

I love this store when I need something in a pinch & don't want to hit a big box place or if I need something cheap in a hurry. Prices are usually really great & staff is usually helpful & friendly. My only complaint is that more often than not, the place looks like a junk store and is cluttered and dirty.

The remodel is nice. They seem to be enabled to carry more items on their shelves. 9 out of 10 times I have to wait for someone to walk up to the check out counter to ring me up.

I mean it's alright if you need some quick shopping done but for some reason no matter HOW MANY PEOPLE are in line they will only use one cashier. They are more concerned with drama than customer service. Someone had left their dog in their truck, and an old women (who I presume was management) ignored the 8-10 people standing in line for a SINGLE register to sit there on the phone and talk about the poor dog and blah blah. You have more than one cashier USE THEM. Other than that its fine for a day when Walmart is just too much.

Nice area, and view of the Railroad transitions, across the way. If you enjoy anything Railroad, this is a nice spot to do small shopping, and sight see. Appearance is clean and retrospective. Quaint.

Lots of items are in the wrong place with incorrect pricing. However over the past couple weeks there has been some important in this location. At times it's difficult to get threw the aisles because the merchandise that was just brought in is still being put on shelves.

Good enough had pretty much everything I was shopping for except it would be nice if Dollar General stores could start having fresh meat, like packages of ground beef and maybe something like pork cutlets as long as it would be at a Dollar General price. Since there is NO other stores left to go to other than having to drive all the way out of town and then fight the traffic in the Parking lot usually!?! WE had a really nice IGA I think that is what it was right at the end of town and now just sits a huge nice big empty store, then we had a good Kroger, but of course that closed but then we need had a nice Town and Country a very nice store, but that didn't last even though it was a very nice store, easy to get to and a nice place to shop, but that didn't last, do why can't towns have a place to shop except Wal Mar?!!?

Just looking for an arm brace. Found one fast and cheap only cost $4. It's nice to run in and out quickly when just looking for an item or two. The clerk was quick and friendly.

This store has been looked over for years. Yet 3 dollar generals were built close by and this location has yet to get a deep clean or facelift. I feel bad for the patrons who can only shop at dg for their necessities. The ones whose mode of transportation is foot or wheel chair. Being located in town is much easier accessible than walmart. But beware if you are in a wheel chair. While it is convenient to get to, once you are inside its a game of chance. Majority of the time there are huge carts filled with empty boxes or product. But when there is only one to two people working, you see why those carts block aisles all the time. Oh and if you are in a hurry, you are better off not even entering the store then. Since they neglect to staff accordingly there is no such thing as a quick trip at dg. There are 3 registers there but usually one employee. Mind you those employees do not know what it means to work in the customer service field. You are never looked at. You are never smiled at. You are never greeted. I think they fail to realize we are guests at dg. Guests who pay slightly more for something we can get cheaper at Wal-Mart. Guests who wait in a line that leads back into the aisles. Guests who choose dg over walmart but still leave dissaponted wishing they'd just gone to walmart in the first place.

This store is the worst! It smells of dead animals , raw sewage ! Always a disorganized mess. The employees give not a care about the store and it shows! If and when I visit this store I am usually disgusted and want to call corporate , the health dept ...

Well, Dollar general is not my favorite, just too cluttered and seems like if has more stuff that I do not need than things I am actually looking for. However, It is convenient, and works well for the local community

Is drop off only if the customer has item packaged and required label reprinted. Staff knows nothing about the process and does not package anything and is incapable of generating labels.

I was in Dollar General in Deslodge Missouri with my wife. We were shopping and i became tired and went to the car ahead of her leaving her to pay the bill. While standing in line four people in one group came rushing through with carts and ran into her both with carts and bodies knocking several glass items.to floor and breaking them and hurting her foot while making a mess on the floor. Not one of them said excuse.me nor im sorry or anything. The store worker that was working the register said nothing to the rude people. Insisted that my wife clean up the mess and stood there watching over her till she was done. Then suggested that she should pay for breakage. I must say i am from a different town and i will spread the word through out the county and state of what.an.appauling s tate of affairs the Dollar General store in Desoto Missouri.is in.

Definitely not impressed by this DG. It is very unorganized and not clean. They have stuff in the isles ALL the time. Its so bad that you can't get down the isles.

Worst Dollar General store around. Isles are crowded with on un stocked merchandise, help is never available at the cash register and there are always long lines waiting to check out.

The Dollar General in DeSoto Missouri is a real dump. The check out clerks are too busy texting on thier phones....they need to clean and straighten out thier store shelves and isles. This store is dirty and things are out of stock.
