I regret to say that my recent stay at the Super 8 Motel in Cuba, was far from satisfactory. The most disappointing aspect was the complete lack of water for over 12 hours, leaving us without basic amenities. Despite our complaints, the staff's response was dismissive, stating there was nothing they could do, they blamed it on the city which I find strange because neighboring hotels, the truck stop, and restaurants all had water. The super 8 was the ONLY place that was affected by this. The lack of concern for guests' comfort and well-being is unacceptable. Additionally, I found the lack of effort to compensate us for our BASIC needs disrespectful. The entire point of a hotel is a place to sleep, shave, and shower. Super 8 blatantly failed to provide that and then did absolutely NOTHING to rectify the issue.However, I must commend the housekeeping staff for their diligent work in keeping the motel clean despite the unfortunate circumstances. The front desk team was also decent and friendly. Despite their efforts, the overall experience was severely marred by the water outage and the management's lack of responsiveness. This experience has left me with little desire to return or recommend this establishment to others.

Fay (General Manager) was very helpful and corrected our incorrect online reservation for Super 8 Wyndham in Cuba MO. The front staff was also helpful plus courteous to travelers staying at Super 8. Usually if management is good...staff will be the same!The property provided nice towels, comfortable beds and pillows. The room and bathroom were smaller than other 2/3 star hotels but sufficient for a night stay. Microwave was very basic and fridge worked. I did report to front desk the next morning that the tub was not draining well. It looked like they had a new "Bath Fitter" replacement tub/shower installed so hopefully they will get it draining properly before the next traveler.Convenient to the highway but don't think will stay at this property again. Panhandling nearby and it was just a bit sketchy in the evening with the back of the property poorly lit with a wide open parking lot next to a beer/liquor store. Didn't trust being out alone past daylight to take care needs of a traveling animal.

For a Super 8, I don't think I could be more impressed than I am with this one.The rooms were very clean.The beds and pillows were very comfortable.The hot water was fast.The towels were luxurious.I had just stayed in a Holiday Inn Express the night before, and this Super 8 was far better. Actually, is was far better than most of the hotels I've stayed in.I highly recommend this hotel!

Room was immaculate and perfect for an overnight stop whole traveling with our dog. This no frills hotel is right off I-44 so it was easy to get off and back on. Breakfast was simple quick and convenient with a small selection of hot and cold foods. King size bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. There is a 24 hour gas station right across road.

This is a gem. Never did I ever expect my room to be this clean and comfortable. I have stayed at Hampton inns and Drury's that did not have a clean of a bathtub as this one does. My bedding is fresh and clean. I checked everything over before I began my stay and I'm very pleasantly surprised. Worth every penny. Faye at the front desk is very nice and helpful. I was checked in very quickly.

First off I wanna I say I didn’t even get to see the inside of the room. The fella that was working at night on 10/7/23 is an absolute idiot. I’ve never heard of your reservation being cancelled because they was afraid you was gonna show up. At 2:00 am I arrived at this place after flying all day, for me too have to wait in a line for this guy to tell me he cancelled my room. I don’t see how y’all are still in business. And then expected me to walk to the nearest place, I’m not from around here I was glad I found the days inn across the way even though it ain’t any better.

The rooms were clean and met our needs. There was even a popcorn machine that you could help yourself out to in the lobby which was a neat amenity. This place is within a short distance from a lot of nice restaurants and other places. It's in a very cute little town. There was little noise outside at night from nearby traffic as this is located right off the highway. However, with being right off the highway this place was very easy to get to.Rooms: The rooms included a microwave, fridge, safe, and coffee pot. The TV is a little small but does have cable and works great. The room was very clean.

We were there 7/14/23 left next morning we were on second floor elevator broke regular maintenance could fix because of warranty so had to wait on company to come fix it was no problem for us needed the exercise after bike trip. It wasn’t their fault. Will stay anytime we are in the area. Pizza Hut huddle house and truck stop all with in walking distance. They make popcorn in lobby we love popcorn. Clean rooms comfy king bed. Second time here. Will come back if passing through.

This motel was great! Staff is so friendly and the room was very clean, and they are pet friendly. Nice touches like hot cocoa all night, many towels, comfy beds, and biscuits and gravy in the morning. Bonus is that there is a nice bakery next door that has great sandwiches to grab before you head on the road. Will be back for sure! A really nice town to stop in on your long travels

Very well kept. Bathroom was well appointed and excellent water pressure in the shower! Room was clean,with a welcome recliner. Refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker included. Cable TV worked well. Some noise from truck stop and interstate nearby. Free breakfast was included, but a diner was nearby so we went there. Overall a good value. Reception staff was freindly and welcoming. Enjoyed the two nights we stayed!Rooms: Nicely decorated. Very clean. All fixtures in good working order.Noteworthy details: Free popcorn!

They are so very nice here! They let me have a meeting with new found cousins in their conference room! I also ran into 3 more cousins from another line of my Dad's family that were staying there from Illinois. Room was clean & the bed amazing! Breakfast was good & they have fresh popcorn at night was good too! Employees are very nice & helpful! I will definitely stay here again!

The room was decent, didn't look like carpet had ever been replaced but the mattress and pillows were comfortable. The popcorn was an unusual but fun offering. The staff was very friendly and helpful when they could be. No extra pillow was available.Food & drinks: There is not much in the way of food, or rather healthy food in this area. Just a few fast food places

We did not stay at the super 8, but had a flat tire while we were at the competitor down the road. As a hail Mary, we checked at the Super 8 to see if they might have a portable air compresser. Fay, the GM, let John- an employee at the hotel help us out as he had a compresser. They really saved us! So very sweet! We made it home safe and sound! A true testament to their customer service!

Stayed here because of the price and reviews and didn't regret it. The only setback is the location. Went to St Louis for the arch (worth the trip) one day and back to six flags (meh) the next, so the extra hours of drive time might put off people on a tight time schedule. Merrimac caverns were a closer drive and worth it. The good reviews are spot on, so if you have the extra time and don't mind driving a little, the extra you save for the room rates is worth it.
