I stopped here to check out the Osage Trail Legacy sculptures and interpretive trail, which was interesting. To get to that, you need to go through the Visitor Center and there I met two interesting people. Other than taking some brochures for some of the stops on my journey - they have EVERYPLACE here! - I started a long conversation with the attendant and her friend that was quite interesting. This was a great stop and I'm really glad I was here.

Great visitor center! Unlike other visitor centers this one has great resources such as menus from the diners in Cuba. It is also provides state guidebooks and maps to about 30 other states, which helps you plan your entire trip. The folks that staff the visitor center are extremely friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions. In addition, there's a very informative video about the Osage Indians and their trail to Oklahoma. As you drive up to the center you can't miss the large statues of Osage Indians travelling west. It's gorgeous and impressive.

The Cuba Vustor's Center is a great place to check out what the Cuba area and Missouri has to offer. They staff were really friendly and helpful with giving us local information that made our stop in Cuba take a little longer and more enjoyable. Cuba, MO is home to some pretty cool murals that have been painted on some of the buildings throughout down town. They are great artwork and you should have a look. Outside of town, there is Fanning Outpost General Store that has the 2nd largest rocking chair in the world. It is also worth the stop, not just for the chair, but for their BBQ flavored popcorn.

We stopped in for shelter due to a rough storm up ahead on the highway. It’s a lovely center with many free printed maps and resources. The information about the Osage is interesting and well curated. The bathrooms are immaculate!Staff was very friendly and engaging. I’d recommend this stop to anyone camping or looking to do a deep dive of Missouri travel.

A wonderful visitor center to visit! Elaine was so helpful today with recommendations and information. Tons of literature inside for places to see, not just in Cuba but all of Missouri. Menus for local restaurants, clean restrooms, snacks and a few souvenirs. We enjoyed the short video about the Osage Indians and the artist who created the piece outside. A nice place to stretch your legs!

I LOVE this place! So much information on the sweet little town of Cuba Missouri, history of the natives, and history of the beautiful murals you'll see driving around town!! Definitely a must-see when you travel through Missouri. Also, be sure to check out the local businesses (some of which are displayed in the building, more coming soon.) You'll be sure to find favorites you won't find anywhere else ❤❤

Nice place for a rest stop. There are washrooms available if need be. The stop has a homey feel with a bison head over a fireplace inside. There is a lot of Route 66 information available. There is a short trail to walk with statues and signs to read.

If you ever pull off on the Cuba, MO exit, you need to stop in at the visitor’s center! We have driven by a million times, but we never took the time to stop in and learn. It was amazing. Barbara taught us so much...she is passionate and so knowledgeable!
