We boarded our baby here for 6 days and they pampered him! Honestly I think he was treated better than we were on our vacation! Ha ha. The staff sent us photos every day and communicated with us so well that we didn’t worry about our pet. They have grassy areas for him to play in as well as the other dogs. Thank you Yuppy Puppy!

Our recent visit here was horrible. I took my 3 dogs, told them exactly what I wanted, when I got my dogs home they hadn’t had nails trimmed, paw pads trimmed and their coats look terrible. They are uneven all over. They did not cut their tails or their ears like I asked. My dogs look horrible. My dogs also got sick there. The morning after their appt throwing up and severe diarrhea started. It got so bad they all had to be medicated. I took them another groomer, she was shocked at how bad they looked. The video is just one dog but they all look like this. It is the groomer we took them to after our bad experience at yuppy puppy. I have been told multiple times management would call me back and they have not. I refuse to take my dogs back and I want a refund. I paid too much money to have to then go pay more for medication and to fix what they completely messed up. We were told our refund was approved, unfortunately their management did not communicate how they said they would and I left my review. They decided to not refund us. They did offer services for free and a partial refund after my husband went to the spa. Why would I take my dog back when this was so bad? A partial refund is a joke with everything we ended up having to pay for because of this visit. Horrible place to do business.

I have been going to Yuppy Puppy for a few years and used to go to the one in St Peters but it closed and they opened the one in Cottleville. I really miss when it was in St Peters, it was smaller and never had an issue. Since I have been going to the Cottleville location I’ve noticed a big difference in customer service. On the few times I have called them I have been put on hold which is fine but they never came back instead the call was disconnected. For some reason they don’t seem to know how to schedule appointments for grooming. I have 2 dogs that I always schedule my next appointment while i am picking them up at their current appointment. There have been multiple times they only scheduled one pet for their next appointment or didn’t schedule either of them even though they wrote the appointment down on a card for me while I was there. I love the grooming I have had I just don’t like the lack of customer service. I don’t know why it’s so hard to schedule appointments for them. I have had too many instances like this so I will no longer be going there.

They did an amazing job on my two big dogs. My golden doodle’s hair was shaggy and long, and I had them cut it short. They did a great job on his face and ears too. Here’s a little before and after pic...And he smells good. l will be back for sure! If you have a shaggy pup who needs a trim before the heat, this is a good place to go. (Cottonville location)

I HIGHLY recommend training with Oscar at the Yuppy Puppy Pet Spa in Cottleville. He introduced new techniques and shaped corrective behaviors during my pups 6 weeks of obedience training. My stubborn 2 year old and very active 8 month old dogs needed a lot of adjusting. He was patient, professional, worked within my schedule, and provided all the energy they needed to learn in a positive and rewarding environment. My dogs have now graduated, and are able to come when called the first time, not think every other person and dog as a threat, and walk on a leash without pulling, among other things. The greatest testament to his training abilities were his three pups- who were always seen obeying silent commands, without a leash or remote collar, and walked in perfect formation! 🐕🐕🐕

My bf and i were super excited to try out this place but after we had our dog groomed we were highly disappointed. Place was super cute inside but the smell was awful when you walked in the door. Mind you there is a lot of dogs ect that I'm sure are smelly and stuff but I've never been in a groomers and experienced a smell like that. Could have just been that day or a situation as well but I don't know. The staff was not very friendly though. I showed so much excitement with it being my first time there and the staff however did not share that excitement with me LOL which was disappointing. I even said "this place is so cute" and crickets lol but whatever. My dog did not feel or look like that " just came from a groomer " look. He did not have that good smell and his cut was not great either. I was not aware of how yuppy puppy pet groomers worked as far as services offered so maybe I didn't ask for the correct service for my dog. Overall not a great first impression and we will go back to our usual groomer. Just wanted to check yuppy puppy out and kinda sorry we did.

Brought my trio that I adopted in 01/2022 from Yuppy Puppy to be boarded for several days when I needed to go to a funeral for a family member in Utah. I chose to drive from Indiana to Yuppy Puppy since I knew that they would be treated well. They were happy when we finally got back to the rescue to pick them up. Highly recommend for boarding and grooming. Thanks for all you do for the rescues.

I want to first start off by saying that the grooming was good, when i picked my dog up he looked great. However, im extremely irritated at the fact every time i take my dog there ( which has only been 2x) He has come back with horrible kennel cough. My Dog is vaccinated with Bordetella yet continues to get sick every time he goes there. It cost me $130-$150 to groom him and both times i have had to take him to the vet afterwards which is another $200. Not worth all the hassle, we will not be returning.

Unhygienic facility. We left our dog here for a few day stay ending on 6/19. We picked our dog up and and thought everything was fine until we found hot spots on him. Then the 23rd he started showing symptoms of kennel cough. The vet called in medications and we called this facility to see if they would cover it. He is an indoor dog up to date on everything and isn't around any other dogs. His symptoms starting match with when he was at yuppy puppy. We spoke with the manager at the cottleville location and she kept trying to say he must not of caught it here then hung up on us. They don't require a meet and greet and I don't think they even ask for vaccination status for the animals. I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Murphy gets so excited when he knows it is grooming day and he gets to ride in the car to see Kayla. She is a wonderful groomer. And also a wonderful person. I would never take my special pup to any place other than Yuppy Puppy and Kayla.

We love taking our two doodles to Yuppy Puppy for grooming. Lynzie is the absolute best!! She always loves on our dogs and even makes our anxious little buddy Hank happy and comfortable. She always does a great job on the grooming and offering solutions to help keep their coats at their best! We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our babies and are so glad we found her. 🤗

I had taken my young dog for training to be better around smaller animals and people. My dog is extremely smart and has had all of the basics down for awhile now and I had mentioned it to the trainer during their evaluation to be more advanced. The specifics of why I needed my dog to go through training was ungodly important to me due to getting in a scuffle with my older much smaller dog and I had thought I had mentioned it enough. I had also said something after they had said they taught her something she already knew like walking on a leash with a pronged collar or to “climb” yet at home she knows these things as I had told the trainer multiple times. Not only was it a big investment for my puppy, it was also to make her a safer dog for my smaller dog and my baby nephew. Unfortunately it was a major waste of money. Another reason I am not happy with yuppy puppy is due to being lied to straight to my face. Our first session with our trainer was “supposed” to be canceled by the trainer, 20 minutes before our appointment. She left a voicemail with her name and my dogs name saying she had to cancel but my wife was already there waiting to meet me so the trainer denied that she called to cancel until confronted. I honestly don’t care to talk to a manager or anyone at this point. I just would hate to see many more people waste so much money with a place that has no organization or business skill.

Took my 2 dogs here for the first time. Their pricing is not listed, only their “add ons”. I didn’t realize that the “spaPackage” was an add on and they never went over the bath and groomer was a completely separate price - which again, is not listed OR explained. When I went to pick them up and got the price I about threw up. My dogs got a BATH. No hair trimming, nothing. When I checked out the girl upfront was rude and not helpfulWhat so ever. I emailed them, and they were just as rude. I’m so disappointed because I REALLY wanted to like them. But I feel taken advantage of and it’s clear they are terrible with customer service. 0 stars.

I take my yorkie here for training and day camp. I truly can not say enough nice things about YP! The entire staff is so friendly, so professional and my dog Dolly absolutely LOVES coming here. She gets excited as soon as we are on their street. Corbyn took my very naughty puppy and made her a sweet loveable girl! I not only recommend them but am so incredibly grateful for them!

My dog came home filthy after staying for a week in boarding. I’m so disappointed. We used this place in a pinch but won’t be going back. I’ll stick with my regular kennel. I also asked for a grooming and they only gave her a bath a couple days before we picked her up instead of the haircut we expected. There is no reason a dog should come home stinking and in it’s own soil after we paid for kenneling and a wash. Like I said we expected a haircut and had to schedule that for a week later. Good luck if you use this place.

I have a big dog, like BiG. He also is not always a fan of other dogs. Yuppy Puppy took my concerns super serious and allowed him to be groomed separate from the other dogs. Makayla did a fantastic job with his goofy weirdo self and got him super clean and smelling good again. Huge shout out for making accommodations to ensuring everyone had a great experience.

The rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been to the Cottleville location a handful of times and have been disappointed on multiple occasions recently. My dog has all 4 dewclaws and they NEVER trim/file all of them even though I ask them to make a note every time I drop her off. They always take longer than they initially tell me so I can only assume that my dog is sitting in a cage for hours like the other reviews say. A few months ago I had called to schedule my dog for a bath at 9am… when I got there they told me I didn’t have an appointment and asked if I got an email confirmation. When I said no, they said “well then you never got scheduled” without a sorry or even offering to reschedule when it was their wrong in the first place. The girl at the desk just stared at me until I walked out. I decided to give them another try but after this experience I will never be back. When I got there they asked for my dog’s updated rabies vaccination, which is completely understandable, but I wish they would’ve notified me on the phone when I made the appointment. She said that it was in the email confirmation (which I never received). Without even asking me what my email was, she said they have my email wrong in the system. So I give her my dog’s updated vaccine record and she asks for my email address. I give it to her and she confirms the spelling but says the email is invalid. I said that I’ve received emails from them before and it’s an email I’ve been using for 15 years. At this point, I decided to leave because if they are treating humans like this I can only imagine how they treat my sweet dog. As I was walking out, the girls at the front desk had the audacity to laugh at me. I will never be back, the staff is not helpful whatsoever and just plain rude.

Yuppy Puppy is the ONLY place that I will take our dog for grooming, boarding, or training. I am extremely picky when it comes to anyone taking care of our Aussie and they always do a great job with great attention to detail. Highly recommend them!!!

I was so excited to take my dog to the yuppy puppy Because I had heard that they were good at grooming doodles, which is very hard to find. I loved how thorough the consultation was. But sadly my dog came out looking nothing like what we had discussed. And was shaved entirely too short. They requested that I bring in proof of vaccinations for my dog, but never even looked at my paperwork. It was my first visit with them, and I felt like they gave me no information. I drove 30 min for their services from St. Louis and was waiting around for hours because they never gave me a time frame to expect him to be done. I dropped him off at 9 am, and finally called around 3:30 PM where they had told me he wasn’t done yet and then didn’t receive a call to pick him up until 5:30 pm. They had my dog for 8 AND A HALF HOURS for a grooming. And now it has been 2 days and he has been horribly sick having diarrhea and vomiting all over my house since I picked him up. I am not sure if they fed him something or maybe it’s from anxiety but this has never happened in the past in the many times I’ve had him groomed. I feel awful for him and do not plan to return.

We love taking our pups to Yuppy Puppy. Such a cute place with unique treats, toys, & other gear. Both of our dogs are groomed by Lynzie, who has the biggest heart. One of our pups (Cali) is very anxious and is resistant to being groomed. Lynzie has formed a bond with Cali. Cali trusts her, which helps ease my mind knowing she is treated well & has someone she is familiar with to make the process easier.

We were very nervous as this was our first time boarding our two miniature dachshunds. When we called and asked for updates the staff seemed irritable and said they were “loud and fine”. It took more than 3 times of me asking for them to finally send photos updates of them, then after that they completely ignored our messages any other time we asked. When picking up our dogs, the staff honestly seemed like they hated their lives working there and were very rude. Once we had our babies back, we noticed one definitely looked like he hadn’t ate in a few days and was acting very skittish which is not normal for him. We were really looking forward to boarding them here as we used grooming services before and were impressed. Overall highly disappointed and will not be using/recommending them again.

Our experience with the Yuppy Puppy in Cottleville has been pretty bad to say the least, we signed our one year old dog up for the one on one training, where she was dropped off for nine hours a day, she was supposed to be learning manners, impulse control, and other things, such as jumping on house guests, and controlling her energy, all of this was discussed at the consultation before signing her up. we ended up scheduling three weeks which was almost $1000, and each week you were supposed to have a meeting with the trainer to go over what your dog has learned, in those three weeks, two out of the three appointments with the trainer we canceled last minute, and 2 classes cancelled because of the trainer not being there. because of all of this chaos, we were given a free week, which again another day was missed from this week, and our meeting was told to be rescheduled day of our appointment. I rescheduled the meeting for the following week, and same-day that meeting was canceled. For almost $1000 in a whole month of training our dog was only taught to climb onto a stool, and is slightly better walking on the leash. This has been a huge waste of money, and our time as we have had to warp our work schedules to take her to and from school every day during the week I wouldn’t suggest wasting your money here we are very upset with our experience.Our main complaint is NOT the rescheduling, it is the fact that we paid almost $1000 and our dog was not taught what we were told she would be.We also declined the additional appointments they wanted to schedule with us because we have already wasted too much of our own time and money.

My dog smells fabulous but his haircut is atrocious. It is like they have never cut an American Cocker Spaniel. If u want a dog that smells good this might be the place for you. If you would like a professional haircut do not waste your time or money. My dog looks like a kindergarten art project for the holidays. Yay.

I absolutely love Yuppy Puppy in Cottleville! Not only have I been taking my two dogs there for regular nail trims, but we've had both of them in training there too. Our trainer, Oscar, is amazing! Really knowledgeable and has a great energy when he's working with our dogs. He worked with Shuri to boost her confidence and on basic obedience commands which really helped her bond with us better. And we learned a lot more tools to deal with my Beagle, Bae's, reactivity to other dogs. I highly recommend Yuppy Puppy and especially Oscar!

$124 for a 1 day stay is insane!I booked the VIP kennel for my dog since I would only be gone for work for 1 day and was quoted $60. Despite saying I would be back at around 4 or 5pm no one bothered to tell me their policy and that I would be charged for 2 days like a hotel.Now I realize I should have asked and not assumed, but 2 days pay for an extra few hours is absurd and I will not be returning.

We boarded our dog here in the “Serenity Suites.” While we were gone it was very challenging to get updates on our dog, which made us very nervous. When I did finally reach someone I was told “she was doing fine and eating.” When we picked her up she was lethargic and not herself. The next day we discovered she had kennel cough. This is not the definition of fine. She also was scheduled to see the groomer during her stay to get a bath and nail trim. Her nails didn’t get trimmed and she smelled. We couldn’t be more disappointed in Yuppy Puppy. We paid a lot of money and only have a really sick dog to show for it. Never again!
