Excellent rot wood. The substrate is beautifully made. I see all the best for isopod ingredients are used. I really like the rot wood pieces to create voids for the isopods to hide. Smells like a forest floor which is something I look for in the best quality substrates.

I finally got around to using the Biolyves substrate to refresh the original isopod bins from when I first started collecting them. This is top quality substrate and so convenient for those of us who are afraid of making our own and killing our expensive pods. I highly recommend!

I pre-ordered some isopods before an expo. Very happy with my purchase, they were very quick to respond to my messages.I didn't realize they had such a selection of isopod related items. I'll have to try a few things, maybe their substrate, at the next expo.

I received some BIOLYVES substrate free of charge to try out. I started using it for my isopods a few months ago and find it to be a better substrate as I see the isopods doing well and see many mancae (babies)! I would definitely use it again.
