I needed somewhere to have a phone appointment while traveling.Such a cute place. The service was amazing. Food was very good too!It's not a stop for a quiet call... it is too popular (busy) and there were 20+ others there. That's a testimony to how good it is overall.

Was recommended this place & just had to stop in.Cutest little coffee + antique shop with a market on the side! My coffee was made perfectly and the service was phenomenal. Got two of their turnovers and the one I tried so far is delightful. Starbucks WHO????? Great vibes in here, super welcoming, and plenty of seating with a homey feel. Will be coming out of my way from now on when I need some GOOD coffee.

Food was great and service was awesome! We were visiting from AZ and my daughter works nearby so we met during her lunchtime and shopped in the antique shop that is there. Never felt rushed. Delicious peanut butter cake! So glad we went.

We were traveling through on our way to Kentucky and just wanted a great cup of coffee. We were welcomed in with a smile. Kids loved looking around at the antiques. The espresso drink I had was fabulous. A wonderful little stop for us on our long journey.

Wow were we surprised when we stumbled upon this gem! Traveling from St Louis to Kansas City, we were hungry! The rest is history. Great lunch with a Philly style cheesesteak that came very close to the real thing. We are from Philly. Deb and Pam were keepers and Riley engaged with great sports knowledge. Great everything and a highlight of our trip

Food was excellent. Menu was basically sandwiches and soup. The design was hometown Cracker barrel, except for better food and nicer people. It was very busy the day we visited and the staff was excellent but stretched a little thin. They did well just not the 5th star. Desserts looked very good and I think that they had a strong morning coffee house trade.

We called ahead for a birthday party and they reserved a lovely back back room for us. We had 10 folks between college age and 86, and everyone loved the food, the many drink choices and browsing the antiques. The employees were very responsive and went out of their way to make this a special day for us. It’s charming, cozy, relaxed and well run. Stop by!Parking: Plenty of parking in the street out front.

We were travelling and got to town and were looking for a coffee shop for in the morning. They were closed the days we were in town but Debbie was watering planta when we came by. She graciously offered to meet us in the morning so we could get coffee which was fantastic. And we got some local honey as well. Next time we are through here we are definitely stopping for food, more coffee and to take time to browse the antique store they have as well.

This is my kids & I favorite place to visit as much as we can!! The coffees are great! My favorite drink though is the Dirty Chai with double shot espresso! The muffins & cakes & food is always so good. Great little cafe with an amazing selection of antiques! You won’t be disappointed!

There are very few places that offer the same warmth and welcome that The Simple Life Concordia's atmosphere does. The food is fresh, delicious and from scratch. The service is genuine, sincere and speedy! The space is beautifully decorated and open with a wide range of antiques to choose from. This is the perfect place for a couples date, or a girlfriend's lunch/meet up!Oh, and that Twelve Gate coffee is 100% bold and delicious! My favorite coffee spot recently!

Every other week my best friend we visit Debbie at The Simple Life, and it's always fantastic. The soup is delicious, and the ones I've had include: pasta e fagioli, chicken tortilla, chicken bacon and ranch, and hamburger. She also offers a range of clubs, and the sweet muffins are a perfect pairing with the soup. The specialty coffees are.the perfect ending, but if you have room, the cake of the week is always tempting! Overall would recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and I were looking for an independently owned spot to get some food and coffee. We were very pleased with the unique atmosphere, great coffee and tasty quiche! If we lived closer, we'd consider buying some of the antique furniture they have for sale at very reasonable prices.

Love this place! It is so wonderful to have high quality soups and salads in our town and the coffee is excellent. I always order the Bacon Ranch salad or the Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice soup. So happy Concordia has the Simple Life again!

I try to stop in here to eat every time I'm in Concordia. To say the good is amazing is an understatement. They focus on quality homemade recipes and it shows in the quality that they serve. They have a delicious cafe menu and a large coffee selection. Be sure to grab a slice of from-scratch cake before you leave. You will not be disappointed!

Adorable cafe and antique shop. Stopped in early on a Saturday morning and was greeted so warmly, a great start to the day. Pour over coffee was good and pastries were tasty.

This establishment is very quaint. It holds many antiques and collectables, but mainly the staff are so kind, helpful, and friendly. The restaurant serves specialty coffees and teas delicious, healthy foods. A great place to visit!!

Welcoming owner who gave me a very large piece of chocolate cake and a large hot coffee, she also gave me a large glass of water without me asking for it. The kitchen had closed. She was friendly and chatty even though she was busy. She let me walk around the antiques she sells in her church turned restaurant store. I was there for more than an hour looking at all those treasures from olden years. I will visit sure that place when next I drive by again.

This place has amazing food and coffee for a little whole in the wall in Concordia MO. The building is beautiful and full of antiques. If you happen to stop in for food or coffee, make sure to swing next door and check out the little cheese shop too!
