Heston and Brian are amazing! They always check with me to see if I need anything, they are fast, beat everyone’s price, and even keep a log for frequent orders so I don’t have to give sizes etc every time. I send all my business their way that I can!! Highly recommend!!!

A convenient spot for hardware, home goods, and renovation supplies. I could easily trek to Menards, Walmart, or Home Depot but Ace makes it easy to get what I need. Even if I have to pay a little more for what I’m getting, the customer service is top notch. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable about what merchandise they offer.I recently put in a light fixture and the staff here were really helpful!

Fantastic store. They have everything and appear to be a full service Stihl dealer. Just purchased a Stihl chainsaw from here. Service was excellent and very helpful in the process of purchasing it. The store is in a convenient location with lots of parking, so I will definitely return!

As a young woman, hardware stores can be hit or miss. This is a hit. Helpful staff with no condescension or assuming I’m clueless. They offer help and insight, and they answer all of my questions seriously, no matter how silly the question.It’s more than that though. This store has the best of the best employees, and I’m willing to bet it has something to do with management. I was in a tough spot financially (and otherwise) and had some things at home I needed to fix. I miscalculated my bank account balance, and I didn’t quite have enough for my transaction. Red in the face and beyond embarrassed, I began sifting through the items, seeing what I could do without. Before I knew it, the customer behind me paid for my stuff and told me not to worry about it. Apparently this customer was actually a manager on her day off. I believe her name was Shelby. Thanks to her generosity, I was able to complete my projects and have one less stressor on my plate. A good manager can make such a difference for employees, and I will happily support a business with such kind management and staff.P.S. Give her a raise! I’m sure every customer would gladly pay a little more in exchange for paying these lovely people what they deserve!

Good place. Still the personal touch style of service available. 😎 If you go there with a home or hardware question, they shall go the extra mile to help you out.Now, they don't have everything; though, the many things that they do have are many times invaluable, and you are happy to see it on the shelf. Always a good offering of holiday fun things. Watch the prices, though. They are setting up early displays for a reason. It is a go-to place...that much cannot be denied. Pricing is always a catch as catch can situation.Always check their closeout tables....

A lot of new staff. Sign advertising help wanted. Be careful when you buy screws. Several bins have correct and incorrect sizes mixed. Cashier friendly but I didn't need any other help.

Prices are higher than the bigger box stores, but the convenience of them being right there in town definetely makes up for it. I buy glass for windows here as well as plumbing parts and those miscellaneous items that really should be in everyone's garage. Good service, nice and in town.

Friday 6/23 1:30pm 1910 W. Worley Columbia, Missouri 65203Stopped in to buy a few items; got to checkout. There was no greeting from checker. “Do you have rewards?” I said yes, are you ready for my phone number? “Yes.” I gave her the first 3 numbers but didn’t see her put them in. She stood there, not saying a word. You ready for the rest? “Yes.” I gave them to her. I started to put in my CC card and asked if she would look at the number for me to make sure it was the correct number. It was mine. The transaction stopped. She stood there not saying a word. It stopped do you need to re-scan the items? “No.” I put my card through. She handed me the receipt; again no “Thank you” or anything. I asked her name. “Stormy”. Well, that fits, trying to lighten the mood. She became even more condescending and hostile. She said something rude and unfortunately I responded in kind. I realize that she was actually looking for a fight. I have shopped at the store for 33 years and have never encountered anyone as ugly as she was. She was very unkempt with a soiled “white” T-Shirt, Her attitude was "Well, if I have to be here, Ill make you pay for it." I would fire her.

Good selection of fasteners, plumbing, electrical, tools, gardening, and more. Not a good place to get your building materials though. Close and convenient location good for most small house fix projects. Prices are marginally higher than big box hardware stores, but when you just need 1 or 5 bolts and not 5 pounds, Ace is great. Service representatives are generally helpful, but I sometimes come in with some complex fixes that can’t be solved easily.

Fantastic service. Everyone is so friendly. I feel like a princess the minute I step into the store. Staff are knowledgeable on whatever project I've come in for, whether it's stripping and painting old furniture or catching wild raccoons in my yard. They have a fun selection of weird candy, too.

Wasn't a bad experience at all. It was just that there was honestly no one on the floor available to help me find the two items I needed. They were pretty busy so I understand, just took me probably 5X as long to find my items as it would have with help but I am happy with how my trip went

I guess the location is good but this store is always either out of what I need or the employees are unable to find it for me. They try, but still, no luck, and it's been that way for years now. Honestly, the one on Business Loop is so much better that I quit going to this one years ago! If you need something from a Westlakes, I would recommend the business loop one but not this one. I only went because I was riding with a friend who went and, guess what, they didn't have what she needed.

On Saturday, James was amassing with being so attentive in helping me resolve a gfi problem I was having even in receiving my follow up phone and walking through problem shooting an issue. I live on west side of Columbia near Mall. Westlake Ace Hardware is the best place to shop the daily hardware accessories. Everytime I shop, the store sends me $5 gift card to be redeemed on my next purchase. I have taken this advantage several times. Lately, I bought a battery driven lawn mower, lot of gardening supplies, flower & vegetable seeds & seedlings during spring. Their prices are very reasonable. Store employees are very helpful. Try to answer questions politely & sincerely. Great job. Keep it up. Thanks.
