Not just one staff member but half of the staff in pharmacy are rude, sarcastic dismissive to your questions...They don't listen or wait for u to ask questions which is very important when ur handing out medications to people..I'm not the only one who has trouble with this pharmacy. The reviews speak for themselves ..

After looking at 2 other stores for distilled water the person stocking shelves showed us where the water was. When the shelf was bare she kept looking and found some in a display. Kudos to this friendly helpful employee!

I hate writing negative reviews because I know this place is overworked, understaffed, and underpaid.However. I have now been on hold for 30 minutes to try and resolve an issue that was an error on their end. I have migraines and am on a low dose management medication that prevents them. I went to refill them 3 days ago, and the app said they were too early to refill. Then, when I went to refill them today (I'm totally out), it said they were filled 2 days ago (the app never said this, always just said it was pending approval/they weren't ready). I know I didn't fill them so... So now I'm sitting here, in the beginning stages of a migraine, 30 minutes deep into the grating voice of the recorded woman saying "we're sorry, our staff is answering other calls and will be with you shortly. There are over three callers ahead of you." If you get migraines, you know that there is absolutely nothing worse than this type of automated voice.

Lots of nice items I loved to shop here. Ate donuts under the tree and sharing the details of Walgreens in Columbia, Missouri.

I had reached out to this location in regards to a question I had once I got a hold of someone a woman Jennifer was a very nasty rude employee. She just said no and hung up. There was no goodbye, thanks for calling, just click. Poor customer service.

I get it people are busy, staff are overworked. But management needs to hire more people. I waited a half hour for a purchase and a flu shot while the person in the pharmacy kept helping people who weren't in line or who weren't waiting. People just kept cutting me. So I left... rude on those folks but super rude on the staff. A few people okay, but three people and then some random people in the aisle come on....

I have always liked and respected Walgreens in Kansas City and StJoseph Missouri until I went to work for Walgreens on Broadway downtown Columbia MissouriI loved my job and the customers and worked really hard. I did everything the manager and supervisors asked of me and even was top red nose salesperson but I didn't receive any pats on the back or rewards for a Job well done There was absolutely no teamwork and the coworkers were back biting and backstabbing . The manager never paid attention and frowned all the time. It was the worst place I ever workedI was let go because of a nonviolent background that was 12 years ago.I was extremely hurt because I felt like I was being hated on and discriminated againstI wouldn't tell anyone to work there. Worst place ever

Wish I had got the name, but it was a blonde middle aged lady and her customer service was terrible and full of attitude. Will not be returning.

I am only giving this rating one star because it wouldn't let me post with zero stars. My rating is actually Zero stars. I placed an order last night for delivery to my daughters dorm. Nowhere did it say the store used Door Dash, just gave option for pick up or delivery. Our local Walgreens delivers so presumed they did as well. I won't go into details but end story was, item never got delivered. Door Dash guy left it at the door somewhere, even after I was on the telephone with him twice to explain in detail where to go. Contacted Walgreens directly and spoke with store manager, Jen. She answered the telephone already sounding annoyed. She proceeded to say that basically this was my fault. She said I had to of picked Door Dash. I said there was absolutely nothing on the site that said Door Dash delivers, just says pick up or delivery. That's it. She went on and on, being very condescending and rude, and said this was Door Dash issue once leaves the store, even though they are the ones who contacted Door Dash, not me. I then called Door Dash who said this was not their issue since I didn't contract with them directly, which is exactly what I thought. She said this is Walgreens issue and I needed to speak with them since order was placed on their Website and I paid them directly. I told her about my issues with the store manager and she said the best thing probably would be to dispute the charges. She stated she would contact the store as well and see if she could get anywhere. I have never in my life encountered such poor customer service from a store manager as I did at this store. As you can see from previous reviews, it is a common issue with this store manager, Jen. She lacks the ability to properly communicate with other humans and just lacks basic human skills in general. She basically doesn't give a f*!# about the customers. Needless to say, I will not frequent this store again. If my daughter needs a prescription filled, or anything else, we will move it to another store.

I have never written a google review, but this is important to make note of...An employee/ manager Jen, ruined Walgreens for me.I called the store because I was sold an expired COVID test.Jen answered the phone, and immediately took a hostile tone before I had even spoken. I was trying to be cordial, but every time I was even attempting to speak, she would speak over me, I was shocked and frustrated by how uncivil and impolite she was. I went back to the store to get a replacement test, and again she was so disrespectful and demeaning.Jen was incredibly argumentative, when I was asking for a refund or replacement, she was surprised that I wasn't comfortable with receiving an expired test, and instead of being understanding, she was hostile. It wasn't that I couldn't get a refund or replacement that was so upsetting, it was how she spoke to me.The only reason I am giving this store 2 stars is because the other manager Greg was kind to me.

Everytime I go here there is ALWAYS a big line or there is an issue. Today I waited 5 hours for medicine for strep so I can go back to work after waiting 20mins on the phone, and finally getting someone to talk to the whole system is down and I cannot get my medicine. It is actually not safe that fact they cannot fill these prescription in a timely matter. It is not even funny how my hours I wasted there waiting, going back 3 different times to get 1 prescription because I cannot get ahold of someone who works there. Worst walgreens ever!!!!!

I usually don't leave reviews, but some of the pharmacy staff (not all of them)they are rude and unhelpful, they wait to pick meds are long, if call over the phone also there long waits, service is awful, I have visited other Walgreens and there is a day and night difference with the store at the providence location. I do not need a call back, nor follow make sure your employees are properly trained on how to multitask and handle customer service with a servant heart..

(This is in regards to the Pharmacy, not the overall store)If you value your time or prescriptions, do not send them here at all. I was told that my prescription (which had been sent in 3 days ago) still had not been filled and the pharmacist I spoke only seemed interested in rushing me out of the store as quickly as possible.I attempted to call the pharmacy to find out the status of my prescription before heading back later, but unfortunately the phone systems have not improved from the complaints about their phone systems dating nearly 7 years back. The automated system will say it is going to put you through to someone, and then goes dead silent and will let you sit there without anything happening until you disconnect on your own. When I returned nearly an hour and a half later, my prescription still had not been filled and I was told to take a seat to wait for it to be filled. With the amount of time I was waiting it was as if they had just started filling it.I do not write reviews at all. But this was probably one of the absolute worst experiences in filling a prescription I have ever had in my entire life for medication I need to operate day to day. Like I said in my very first sentence of this, DO NOT SEND YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND PRESCRIPTIONS.Alternatively, Flow's Pharmacy is just down the road on Broadway, Gerbes has a pharmacy, and even any of the three Walmart locations in town will certainly give you a better experience than the incompetency of this pharmacy.UPDATE: They didn't even give me both of my prescriptions. Of all places I didn't expect to need to check the bag, a pharmacy is not one of them. From the bottom of my heart, this is probably the worst pharmacy in all of Missouri.

I am a frequent Walgreens shopper but will not be returning after my interaction with the store manager yesterday.I went through with my first purchase and the woman checking me out was extremely friendly, called me by name and remembered me (again calling me by name) when I came back in to exchange a product. She offered the best customer service I have ever received.Unfortunately I ended up at a different woman’s counter and explained I had grabbed the wrong color about a month ago and they hadn’t had the correct color to exchange it for until now. She said she couldn’t exchange without a receipt. As I was searching my online receipts for the correct one she got the manager. The manager looked like Ms. Trunchbull from Matilda. She said she couldn’t do an exchange without receipt. I told her it was a pick up order and I was looking for it. She said she would scan the product to find it on my account, then said it wasn’t coming up in the system. She was condescending and rude. The first woman who had checked me out was looking at me so apologetically I just said okay and walked out. I thoroughly read the return and exchange policy which says it is at managers discretion. The managers rudeness and complete lack of knowledge in customer service will not keep this location in business for much longer.I will never shop at Walgreens again!

If You're downtown on foot; this is an option for drug store stuff. The pharmacy works, barely. Why do they bother telling you it will be ready at a certain time? It never is...

Worst pharmacy ever. I’ve been lied to on multiple occasions about whether my meds are ready. They are never ready when they say they are. It took me over 2 weeks to get a prescription filled. Not to mention how rude the staff is. I started out nice, but after having the pharmacy manager tell me that it wasn’t a big deal and hanging up on me, I’m livid. I’ve had to request the same medication time after time after time for them to finally fill it.TLDR lifelong Walgreens pharmacy customer and will never go there again after the way I’ve been treated.

I made a 5:50 appointment for a vaccine. I showed up at the pharmacy at 5:30 and was told they would not fulfill my scheduled appointment because it takes 20 minutes to get someone signed in for a vaccine and they close at 6:00. I was told if I came in at any point the next day they would help me. However, if they will not help me with a scheduled appointment I am not going back and trusting them on a walk-in appointment. I asked to speak directly with the pharmacist, Sara, and this request was also denied.

Hands down, the rudest walgreens location. The store manager (jen [see previous reviews]) has serious issues, and lacks basic human to human skills. Her position as a manager sets the tone for her employees, and so there's quite the confusion for this store in general. There's many other negative reviews regarding this same manager. I imagine they'll either close, or let her go to save the store. In the event, that someone formally with walgreens is reading this, I hope this issue is resolved soon.

Essence was confusingly rude.We came early for our COVID test since there was no line, and you’d think we just kicked her dog in the face. She refused us, so we left and came back at the exact minute of our scheduled test. There was now a long line. She proceeded to talk about us audibly into the mic to a coworker. When we left she said “girl, bye”.Awesome.

This is the worst Walgreens that I’ve ever been to. I had a sick child that was in the ER until 10:45pm. They prescribed her medicine so we rushed as fast as we could to this pharmacy. It was 2 minutes until the pharmacy closed. As they saw us coming down the isle they hurried up and shut the pharmacy window. I knocked on the screen and on the door. They ignored me until they were both coming out to go home. I told them it was an emergency and they said they couldn’t fill her prescription because they clocked out. The tech recommended Tylenol without even knowing what the prescription was for. I had to drive all the way to St. Louis to have her prescription filled. They are extremely lazy and unprofessional.

I could deal with long wait times you usually find at this location, I could deal with unhelpful employees, but what I think is completely 100% unacceptable is how one of the pharmacists here was very clearly trying to pass judgement on the medication I take, and was giving me unsolicited medical advice as though she was my doctor and not simply the pharmacist I was picking medication up from.My doctor wanted to start me on anti-seizure medication after having one nocturnal seizure a year ago, and a suspected nocturnal one several weeks ago. But being in college I have not been able to get into see that doctor myself since the most recent one, and the doctor was mostly communicating with my mom about this new medication and all the medication I was currently on. So when I went to pick up this new anti-seizure medication me and my mom both wanted to double check with the pharmacist as well, that this new medication wouldn’t interact with my current meds and I was also wondering about most common potential side effects, because again being a busy college student if I knew I would be experiencing unpleasant side effects I wanted to wait for the weekend. So I asked the pharmacist if this new medication interacted with any of the other medication I was on and for the possible side effects. She starts typing it in to her computer, and then begins a lecture about how adderall and amphetamines can actually cause seizures so maybe that’s my problem. I was genuinely confused why she would say this given I wasn’t even picking up my adderall then, she knows nothing about my medical history, and nothing about my seizure history so I just kind of asked her to move on and continue telling me if it interacted with my other medications and it’s possible side effects. She would not. She kept saying “well that’s just what it says when I type in all those medications so I’m just letting you know it could be your adderall” she said some version of this several times. I kept repeating that that wasn’t what I was asking for and that I could talk to my doctor more about that, I kept asking specifically for her to tell me if this new medication would interact with the current medications and what common side affects are. But she would not stop lecturing about adderall. It was extremely odd and upsetting. Before she even started this I was visibly upset and already crying because this whole situation has been so stressful and then this pharmacist elected to lecture me about a medication I wasn’t even asking questions about. Very unprofessional. FINALLY after several rounds of her lecturing, I was crying and raising my voice asking her to “please move on and just tell me if this new medication will interact with any of my medications and what side effects I can expect” she kind of rolled her eyes and then typed a few more things and was basically just reading me the google search of “may cause dizziness, change of appetite” and then in a pretty condescending way since I was so publicly upset, she goes “one of the most common is aggression, irritability, or depression. So for example you might ask your mom to see if she notices any changes in your mood” because I mentioned to her how I was doing all of this communicating with my doctor through the phone or through my mom. It was overall just so unprofessional, condescending, and very judgmental. I would be very very happy to disclose her name if management reaches out. I really just can’t understand why an adult woman working at a pharmacist would act like this towards someone who is clearly already upset and dealing with unknown medical issues. I really didn’t need the judgment for my ADHD on top of it.

Worst hands down. Walgreens I've ever experienced, their night shift employees cuss, talk to each other all night I stead of working.I put in my order for 10 4×6 Pic at 10:30 p.m. when there's 3 customers in the store and several loud, rude, uneducated employees cussing and gossiping about customers in the store and my photos said they would be done at 11:25 p.m. and they aren't still aren't done and the store is dead. They can't respect people's time and their companies schedule. I will never use walgreens again for pictures, it's almost midnight on a Thursday and I should have went to Walmart they are always done before the time their app said.

So I take meds for chronic pain. My doc has put in for refile. The insurance has approved it. One of Walgreen's pharmacist is doing malpractice as1. The bottle said I last refilled on 11/16/18. So with that said I should be able to refile the script my doc sent in and insurance has already approved today 12/16/2018. But no Walgreen's won't let me fill them tell the the 12/18/2018. I'm calling a lawyer this is malpractice. If the pharmacist doesn't like refilling a certain script they need to be let go. I'll be contacting a lawyer.

I called asking about getting a flu shot on a Sunday morning. Was told the pharmacist comes in at 7 but wait until 8. I did but when I got here I was told no they don’t have extra help. There were two people working the pharmacy (that I could see) and not another customer in store. I know the pharmacy is busy but they should do what they tell people they will. Now I have to make a special trip. Won’t be here but it’s annoying I have to do it since I was already here getting a prescription filled.

Only giving 2 stars vs one because they have some excellent pharmacy technicians (like Grady). I was personally singled out by a pharmacist and threatened to call my physician about a policy she should have honored. This pharmacy frequently refills medications sooner than requested and then you are penalized for it. Never felt “shamed” by someone who should be there to help me before until I started filling here. I have heard that she has also taken some kind of personal vendetta against other customers. So inappropriate and unprofessional. You are not the Goddess of Pharmacy. In regards to the store, staff let intoxicated homeless people just hang around the store (inside AND out) and I have been harassed multiple times. Get it together, Walgreens.

I started filling my prescriptions at Walgreens due to the concienent drive through and better hours for my busy schedule. What I was not expecting was that in exchange I would be spending vast amounts of my life waiting. It took me 15 times to actually get through to their phone number, and despite just opening I was on hold for over 30 minutes. The stores are NEVER properly staffed with enough employees, and the ones I have come across were short with customers. Guess I’ll be going back to Kilgores

They are not helpful at all. I had an insurance issue with my prescription and instead of calling insurance and figuring it out they waited until I called and asked why my script wasn't filled. Then when the tech told me why she said well you can just pay regular price. So I called insurance my self and got my prescription filled. Not to mention the extremely long waits on the phone.
