I actually didn't go here on this date, but rather was at another store in the Forum Shopping Center-- Aqueous Vapors-- which i highly recommend if you vape. I have been to Schnucks; they are really nice and have one of the best wine and beer and cheese selection. Geared toward the boujee class.

I think this is a pretty nice Schnucks location. The selection is what you would expect, but produce and dairy prices aren’t competitive with the local competition (i.e. Gerbes/Kroger). On the plus side, customer service is good, and they have a Kaldi’s. The store is also spacious and has a good layout.

This store has EVERYTHING! It's clean and neat, and the employees are super friendly. Only deducted a star because it's pretty expensive, compared to other stores.

Got what we needed easy peasy. The alcohol section is setup so nice and clean. Loved the beer cooler you can walk in and get already chilled beer. Checked out the prices on some bottles. Found some things more expansive here than other stores. On the plus side workers and guests all wearing masks. Used the wlef checkout and a attendant wiped down the area before we got to it and after we left making sure it's clean.

Schnucks is one of those grocery stores that has a little bit of everything, and the people are extremely nice. They always seem overly pleased to help you with whatever you come to them with.. I’m certain they will be in business for decades longer. keep up the good work folks.

This used to be the best grocery store in town but Schnucks management is running it into the ground. The employees are ever so nice but they have nothing to say any longer (except for wine, that is the last bastion where there is a promotional island with some locally determined good stuff). Not even the store manager has any influence, all decisions on assortment and design are now taken by HQ. And few of them are good. All quality specialty items are gone (bread, cheese, deli, dairy/joghurt, asian) and replaced by a random assortment. By now, I rather shop at Gerbes (cheese counter!) or Aldi -- they even have the nicer store. Congratulations to HQ!

As a St. Louisan, Schnucks is dear to my heart. I hope that they renovate this location someday to restore it to what it could be, but in the meantime, the fried croissants and fresh bagels keep me coming back time and time again. If you haven't had a fried croissant donut, it will change your life! The hot food bar (when on full menu) offers great food too -- especially for those of us that work nearby!

Great prices on groceries. Fantastic selection on a variety of products. Salad bar, soup bar and cheese sections are nice. They have fresh made ice cream at the entrance. Friendly customer service and speedy check.

A clean, safe, and well stocked store.The best donuts in town, my fam thinks.I don’t buy everything at this store bc we primarily shop at Aldi, but we get about 10-20% of our groceries from here, namely schnucks brand goods, the week’s sale produce, and bakery items.The store brand ice cream is REALLY good, and so are all of their generic items. We like their large loafs of Italian bread.Prices on many items are higher than at another store, namely produce, dairy, and meat, but it is a quicker place for stopping in than most places for me, so I’ll grab a rotisserie chicken, ground beef, milk, or cheese if we need it for that day.There are clean bathrooms in a safe area of the store, and in general, one feels safer in this store than others in Columbia because of the well lit parking lot and layout of the store. There isn’t a lot of foot traffic and I’ve never heard of fights happening here.There are a lot of self check options, but maybe half the people choose a check out lane. The employees are friendly and capable.They serve Kaldi coffee, and there are a few weekly specials like inexpensive drip coffee on a particular day.There are also some St Louis specific items here, like alcohol from they side of the state, IMO’s dressing, Provel cheese, red cardinals Fritz’s soda, etc.AND Gooey Butter Cake!It’s the best version of gooey butter cake in all of Columbia!

They were the only store in Columbia and surrounding areas that had what we've been looking for, for 3 week's, canned Tamales! We bought 6 of the 9 cans that they had. VERY HAPPY!!!

First time going to deli where you place order and then come back 10-15 minutes later. Requested extra thin sliced cheese and they ignored it forgot the request. Didn't feel like having them redo it. Biggest alcohol selection I've ever seen in a grocery store. If they add any more they're going to have to switch to liquor store w/groceries ;)

This is smaller Schnucks. Its well stocked. Major complaint is the checkouts. They are poorly layed out and get backed up easily. They self checkouts just dont work, cumbersome and should be your last resort to use in busy times. Finding things is also poorly organized. Groceries on both ends and everything else in the middle. I have been in better managed stores. I was so fed up with self checkout our last visit. I feel other grocery stores are in my future. To bad because this is covenantly located.

Excellent grocery store with a great rewards program. Cashiers are helpful and courteous. I've seen them at their busiest and they handled it like pros. Reasonably priced and selection is wide range.

People are nice and I like a lot of the layout, but when it comes to hot food in the deli area, the ready-to-eat stuff, go to HyVee. It's severely lacking and at 12:15, when everybody is going to come in for lunch, the hot food selection looked cold and old. Very unappetizing and I'm not picky when it comes to that kinda stuff, but damn.

3 stars for the usual good shopping experience. But 2 stars were lost due to customer service. Specifically the deli counter. (This took place yesterday) The man working behind the counter was rude. I went up to the counter and we made eye contact and he never verbally acknowledged my presence. He then finally preceded to take my deli order, and acted annoyed the whole time when it was such a simple order. I asked him how long it would take since there were several numbers ahead of mine, and he acted like it was such a stupid question to ask. Disappointed. As someone who works in customer service myself, it’s not hard to be at least a little upbeat for a minute long conversation or at-least acknowledge someone who’s waiting in line to order.

Coffee bar is almost always closed early due to lack of workers. Hot food is closed down due to lack of workers. Bakery stuff like bagels and pretzels are always gone by 9 or 10am! The salad bar doesn't exist anymore. So the only reason I go to Schnuks is the convenience that it's right next to where I work. Otherwise I would just go to hyvee! Oh and icing on the cake, their selection of store goods isn't great. They don't even sell charging blocks for phones, and the charging wire I bought for 15 bucks (it was an emergency) didn't work. The organization is a nightmare, I walked forever trying to find some specific items. And everything is overpriced.Sounds like your typical greedy corporate company. Here's a little tip Schnuks- If you want to have a steady batch of employees... PAY THEM WHAT THEY ARE WORTH. it's magical they actually stay longer than 2 weeks! But hey, at least I got the last blueberry bagel at 8:40 am. At least those are good 🤦‍♀️
