Went to buy my son a bearded dragon for his birthday. My boyfriend decided he wanted to finally get one for his set up at his house. The lady refused to sell us 2 dragons with purchasing 2 tanks. Didn't matter that my boyfriend said he already had one sitting at home waiting for a dragon. She flat refused to sell him one. The ONLY reason they received my business was because my son found the bearded dragon he wanted from this store. I have had nothing but trouble from employees when it has come to purchase fish as well. Doesn't matter what you tell them you have set up at home or how much more experience you have then them. If you refuse to tell them what size tank you have set up at home they will refuse to sell you fish. Also, every fish I have ever purchased from the Columbia store has died. Nothing wrong with the water in the tank either but every fish has died. This store has lost my business for good.

To everyone who is interested in purchasing a hamster especially for the first time, associates will tell you the small basic details, but here's what they won't tell you: the hamsters they're selling, sleep all day, and stay up exercising, especially on the wheel non stop, climbing all over their homestead trying to find ways out. They get really hyper, nervous and are so hyped up when they're removed temporarily while their home is cleaned amongst many other things not mentioned.Thank you PetSmart associates!I do not recommend

The jefferson city store has alot to offer, but they are very pricy. If i cant wait to order supplies and need to buy from the store, i ALWAYS take my phone in and compare prices to the petsmart website. It seems like most of the items are cheaper online, but the store will price match there websites.

I love this store. The staff is always friendly and supportive of service animals. I take my dog in to have her nails, ears, and teeth cleaned. They give her a wonderful bath and always ask me if I have concerns or want them to look at anything. Cora is always excited to go to PetSmart, and I am thankful for the amazing staff.

During my last visit, I had a terrible experience with their grooming service. The groomer, who was supposed to take care of my older dog, caused him severe pain and trauma. When I received the call for pick-up, the groomer mentioned that my dog was "sensitive" in his hips and back legs. I initially assumed it was because of his age, but when I arrived, I was horrified to find my dog's back legs covered in blood. It seemed like the groomer had handled him roughly and brushed him so aggressively that it led to injury. This experience was not only distressing for my dog but also deeply disappointing as a customer. I would strongly advise caution if you decide to use their grooming services. I got my refund no hesitation but the groomer does in fact still groom here, Lorna. So, please be careful when bringing your fur babies to this grooming sight. Oct 2023

Great place to get pet supplies, they have a nice selection. Their prices are a bit high compared to Walmart, but we like to go so we can bring our dogs.

My dog went in for a grooming today. The groomer Aiyana was terrible. The booking appointment said it should take 1-2 hours. My father who was kind enough to take him to the appointment while I was at work asked how long it would take when he arrived. Aiyana told him 2-3 hours and when he informed her that was not the policy she became frustrated and decided that we would have to wait her full 3 hours. My dog was even left wet while she went off to lunch. I called after two hours and was told only 30 minutes should be left. When I called 45 minutes later we were informed that Aiyana had decided he would need another 20 minutes. Upset my father approached a manager who immediately checked on him and found his service was in fact already complete even though we had been told we would have to wait another 20 minutes. She also did not even perform the grooming selected as no anal gland expression was done. This was a horrible experience, I can't believe you would treat dogs or their owners in this manner. I will never return for grooming or any other products. You should be ashamed that you have trained staff that act this way.

Great black Friday deals! I got a 20 gallon fish tank for $60!Employees weren't that knowledgeable about fish compared to, say, Columbia Pet Center, but they were also probably high school or college students. No big deal.

Though they are significantly more expensive than ordering online they do have a great selection that you can conveniently go pick up the same day. They have a lot of cute critters and tons of options for all of their needs. I got some bug spray for my dog there the other day and though it didn't do the best job I needed it right then and it was far better than nothing. They also offer obedience classes and grooming as well if you can get on the schedule.

Went to purchase a few fish for a friend. Even though they were closing in 20 minutes, the employee that helped me was still very kind and bubbly, and helpful. These days, most places start making a rude announcement an hour before closing time that basically tells you to get the hell out well before they actually close, but not in this store, at least not when I was there. It was a pleasant shopping trip.

My 16 year old daughter went in to buy a goldfish this evening. She was refused service because she stated a larger sized tank than the attendant decided was not suitable for one fish. B. also said she had a goldfish for 4 years - see attached picture - a 6 inch goldfish, nose to end of fin, in a 5 gallon tank. I called regarding this situation in also.If the goldfish was going to be used as a feeder fish, they would have sold it to her.Obviously, the level of customer service is ignorant in the fact that a goldfish is in the carp family and will grow according to the size of a tank.

I just love PetSmart. We use them as a 1 stop shop from the dog grooming, pet training, treats, toys, and dog food. The employees are so nice, and my Pyrenees loves the attention as well as the gentle patience they have for his grooming.

I ordered a curb side pick up order and when I still hadn’t gotten the email 2 hours later that it was ready I headed to the store. It started pouring rain so I waited to call the store to alert them I was there until the rain stopped. I called and was told someone was bringing it out. Then 5 minutes later I get an email saying curbside has ended and I’ll need to come inside.I went inside and the older guy at the check out just looked at me. I told him I had a curb side order but while I was waiting got an email that I needed to come inside. He said ‘corporate doesn’t want us bringing things out in the dark’. I said well it would be nice to have a better notice and I was told it was coming out like 5 minutes before I got the email. He said ‘well that’s how it works’. He was rude!

It is exactly what you expect. I tend to visit more around lunchtime on Saturdays when they are doing pet additions so I can get my puppy fix in. The grooming is good as well, but they started to charge not based on breeds which I understand, but my dog is a puggle and does not have the issues pugs do, but they want to charge me the extra amount due to her being mixed with pug.
