I took my dog to get groomed the other day, and they trimmed her nails. Her nail that they clipped is broke all the way down to her paw pad. She can’t even walk properly and I have to carry her up and down our stairs. I paid over $70 for her to get groomed and now she can’t even walk. All I got was some powder to put on her paw. When they gave me the powder they told me a file would’ve been better. Which they even told me since she is older they would file them so she wouldn’t be scared as bad, so why were they trimmed originally. I’m so upset right now and now out of $70 and will probably have to pay more in vet bills. Don’t take your dogs here.

Really like the new store! It's clean, well-stocked for many different kinds of pets. We're looking at their dog food program to see how it compares to an online competitor. All the staff were helpful and friendly. I don't know much about their vet services but it looks like they're pretty comprehensive, with the exception of emergency care.We'll definitely shop here again!

I have a problem with a company that Do not honor their policy on returns. It's funny how you return something. But they won't give you receipt or they'll full refund. Because the Management is pocket the money. So the receipt show $70. And she gives $40 back. And i ask for the refund receipt i was told no that a red flag that call Theft. Any other store like walmart or fastfood give a receipt back . I wish they What do bankrupt already. By the way she was the store manager .

Great customer service , young lady helped me get a couple African Dwarf Frogs and she was courteous and enthusiastic , unlike previous experiences with Pet Smart and Columbia Pet Store . I recommend this store over the competition . They seem to be down to earth and don't throw the little guilt trips on you if you don't know everything their is to know about the pet you are taking home . Also Will the young man who rang up my order performed a price comparison to the online price and saved me some cash . 👍

Our groomer Logan was wonderful. My dogs looked great and they were happy and wagging their tails when I picked them up. she was very thorough and listened to what I wanted.

I was so impressed with Columbia Petco Vet Staff, my son and I took our dog there to get him up to date on all his vaccines, they went above and beyond explaining everything,including pricing and worked with me so that I could split between two paychecks...looking forward to his grooming Saturday... highly recommend

We normally shop at petcos and they are really nice. Upon walking in, This place felt like my kids shouldnt be in there. Empty boxes on shelves with stolen merch, dying fish, ammonia smell, weird stains everywhere. Kinda surreal and odd experience...

We took our cat to the veterinarian clinic at the new location and got in right away. They were excellent. They have a wonderful and caring staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Will be going back if needed. They took care of wonderful kitty!! Thank you 🙏

I recently visited the new location in my area iN Columbia, MO, I called in the appointment.Let me just say that the groomer was excellent (Amber) she was caring and very friendly, she did a great job on grooming my dog (5 Lb. Yorkie). My problem comes when I recieved the bill and saw an additional fee for Supplies & materials, never in my life having my dog (13 yrs.) have I ever seen this charge. My issue that you are already paying ($47 in my case) for grooming I did pay for oatmeal shampoo ($8) which I could have bought a bottle at that price. The additional fee seemed to be a bit over kill, didn’t I just pay an extra fee for the supply of the shampoo, and don’t they always shampoo your pet? Isn’t Petco a supply store? If every customer is paying a $5.99 in additional fees don’t you think Petco would have enough supplies & materials for all the pets they may groom. It is not the amount of the fee it is the principle of the fee. I go to the hair salon they don;;t say oh by the way we need to charge you for the scissors we used to cut your hair or for the blow dryer I used. It is a shame for this money I can jus tho to a private groomer and give them my business. BUYER BEWARE, it reminds me of Bank of America and fees they charge people look at them now.

Visited the new Petco Store in Columbia Mo. The staff is always helpful and interested in my pet and my pets needs. The store is beautiful. Well lighted and easy to get around in. Parking is very easy.
