Went in there today 2/27/24 11-1130 for lunch. Decided to try the Chinese food place. They had a lunch special going so I thought I’d try it out. Let me tell you, well worth the money! I will definitely be coming here a lot more often. Amazing portions and fresh hot food. Great Value!

Went here to buy 2 bottles of whiskey. The lady at the register in the wine and spirits section took 5 minutes to check out 2 people ahead of me with 4 items in total. When it is my turn, both my hands were full before, I could even set the items down and grab my wallet. She yelled for me to get my ID. Like at least give me a moment to retrieve my wallet. Personally i find that disrespectful. I know it is store policy to ask me for it. But don't be rude and that quick about it. Then the lady was extremely rude. And i told her i thought she was being disrespectful. After she yelled at me as I was leaving literally almost out the building and said "If you dont like it, never come back." Wonderful service. Lol

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT MEAT COUNTER. I went in today at 530pm specifically to order a 1lb cut of meat at the meat counter. I waited 5 minutes before being told that there is apparently some arbitrary rule that they don't cut/trim meat after 4pm. I was only offered pre-cut meat which was incompatible with the recipe I was using. They were simply unwilling to help. I called over to the West Broadway location and they honored my request immediately without issue. This further explains why I will drive the extra mile to go the much better West Broadway location.... and also because over there they actually regularly have fresh herbs stocked (which seem to be always missing at the Nifong location).

I'm not from the Midwest so Hy-Vee is completely new to me, but I love it!The produce is so fresh and their selection is HUGE. I've also found that their prices are often better than other grocery stores.The interactions I've had with the workers have been overwhelmingly positive, they are always kind and helpful.I also love that I get fuel points from shopping that I can use at their gas stations. Anything to save money on gas.I highly recommend Hy-Vee to anyone who may be considering it. I go to Hy-Vee at least once a week or so for groceries and I don't plan to change that.

I had the opportunity to try their Asian food today and WOW! For 10 dollars I got their Sriracha chicken, mushroom beef, plain fried rice and it came with an egg roll and a crab rangoon. Everything was hot and fresh and really good! Defiantly will return for this deal!

Not a huge deal but they weighed down my bananas and said my 4 bananas weighed 4lbs. No way my bananas are a lb each. Like I said not a big deal, but why are you weighing my bananas down? It’s taking a huge toll on my mood.

Ordered our wedding cake here just to get there on our wedding day and them tell us that the cake we already paid for didn't get made. Messed up the whole wedding day having to scramble looking for a stupid cake.

I went in the store and purchased a few item and two thirds of the items rang up at the wrong price. If you mention to the customer service person about the price ring up guarantee, you will get a full refund, not just the difference of the item.

Once again, this place is ALWAYS fully stocked, clean, plenty of staff to keep things moving. Several times, the customer service desk went above and beyond for me. I am a HUGE Indy Car fan, and HyVee becoming a major sponsor of the sport has me shopping there, even if it's a bit out of my way.

What a selection! They have everything from restaurant fresh food to baked goods, dry and canned goods, allergen free options, fresh fruit, fresh raw meat and on and on. It's the only grocery store I need.

Purchased milk today. Turns out the sell-by date was yesterday. Milk was already spoiled, leading me to conclude it had spent considerable time sitting out, yet was somehow still for sale.My first job was restocking milk coolers at a grocery store. Every day we would do this we would check the sell-by dates and remove any milk long before it expired. Our manager would check the coolers too each night before close. This milk should’ve been removed from sale over a week ago!The fact that it was not, and had even gone bad, is evidence that neither the employees responsible nor their managers care about customers or our health. We used to buy a lot of “fresh” cheese, meat, and produce from this store, but now I am not so certain I can trust them given their lack of obvious safety protocols. If this is how they handle sealed milk that is very visible, how are they handling safety and hygiene behind closed doors?To further add to the outrage, we checked and there are STILL two more gallons of milk that expired yesterday sitting for sale!

Southside Hy-Vee is the cleanest Hy-Vee in Como. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Shelves are neat and organized.

Maybe I am old, but I freaking love shopping here. The facility is always clean, staff is always friendly, and the prices are fair. Love that they have shopping carts for little ones as well! Honestly haven't had a negative experience here.

The seafood department really hooked me up on Tuesday. Jeff was awesome in helping me steam some things so I could eat lunch. I'm on special diet following my surgery and it is really hard to find food I can actually eat when we are out of town.I love HyVee in general and wish they were closer to us.

I enjoy shopping at the local Hy-Vee store because their employees are top notch. Anytime I ask one a question, they give me a prompt, accurate answer, which I appreciate. Their food is fantastic and prices are competitive. I just wish they would still have fuel saver points. They are as rare as hens teeth anymore.

Big grocery store. It had lots of difficult to find items. However, I found it very difficult to find items. I wanted to purchase some butter, so I went to the part of the store that carried dairy. I had to wander around a number of aisles before finding what I was searching for.Part of the issue is that organic products have their own selection and may be in the organ and the other section as well

I love shopping at Hy-Vee. There store is big and the have a lot of depts that specialize in certain items. There store is clean and staff is friendly and they have the cashier's that needs to be open. They also have a walk in clinic for minor aches and pains.

Hy-Vee is a premium grocery store with multiple convenient locations in Columbia Missouri. Deep selections of prepared foods, produce and adult beverages as well as kid beverages! Pharmacy and fuel at the west Broadway location. Great store for picky shoppers!

An OK shopping experience: organized, bright lights, big aisles. However, prices are way too high for the quality of products, especially produce, which is often moldy.
