This grocery chain is truly the best in all of Missouri. Their gluten-free selection is outstanding, catering to various dietary needs. What's even better is that the prices are reasonable, and there are plenty of bargains to be found throughout the store. I just want to give some praise to Cathleen (Kathleen?). I was in need of some eclipse glasses on the day of the eclipse, but I had a sick toddler and couldn’t bring him into the store. She did not hesitate to help me by setting aside a pair of glasses and running (literally) out to my car to take my payment and then bring them out to my car. She was so very nice too. I will now not miss this historical event!

Biggest take away from this Grocery store is that the management don't give a hoot about how it's run. I'm speaking of the cashiers and baggers just throwing food into Grocery bags without caring if they are putting can goods on top of a loaf of bread. There are fuel saver cards on food but it doesn't show up on receipt. This is just an occasional problem. Its weekly. I do shop at several stores around town and this particular one is just off!

The grocery is fine. Very clean. Unfortunately we were there for the "walk in" clinic that told us they couldn't get my son in until 3:30. It was 10 am at the time.

During my recent visit to Hy-Vee on Broadway for Thanksgiving meal shopping, I had a mixed experience. The store offered a wide selection of products, allowing me to fill two grocery carts with items totaling around $500. However, the customer service at the checkout was disappointing.The issue arose when we reached Allyson's cash register with an unpriced turkey. Allyson's response to this situation was notably unprofessional. When we requested a price check, she spoke to us in a rude tone and seemed reluctant to assist, stating that she couldn't check the price as she didn’t have the price per pound information. This response was confusing and inconvenient, as it's standard in other grocery stores for employees to assist with such matters.Ultimately, we had to fetch the turkey ourselves, which added unnecessary hassle to our shopping experience. While Hy-Vee generally offers a pleasant shopping environment, this particular interaction with the staff member was a letdown and impacted our overall experience negatively.This encounter suggests a need for better training in handling customer queries and managing unexpected situations. It is essential for staff to provide helpful and courteous service, especially in a customer-facing role like a cashier. I believe that with appropriate training, such incidents can be avoided in the future, enhancing the shopping experience for all customers.I hope the management at Hy-Vee on Broadway takes this feedback seriously and addresses this issue. I would appreciate being contacted by the management to discuss this matter further and to hear about any steps being taken to improve customer service. This would not only show Hy-Vee's commitment to customer satisfaction but also help in maintaining the store's reputation for quality service.

I have a tick born disease known as alpha gal. Hy-Vee has a wonderful selection of plant based cheese, sour cream and found a French onion mix I could use. Along with land animal and dairy allergies, I am also allergic to peanuts and soy. So shopping can be a challenge for me.

Loved it! Great service, great food. Lillian is our favorite! She always greets with a big warm smile, goes out of her way to make sure we have a good positive experience, while dining at Market Grille. We really like the variety of food to choose from. Tastes like home cooking. This is our go to place when we’re in COMO! We had breakfast here twice over the weekend. Keep up the good work.

20$ three piece chicken side of potatoes and salad bar. Would have been great value if it was all edible. The chicken thigh was super fried solid unedible. The rest of the comfort food looked old and not appetizing at all. The Chinese food looked much better, I should have went with that.

We shop at this store at least once a week and love it, but we had an unfortunate incident a few weeks ago. My wife and I were in the Market Grill area, and were going to get coffee and dinner, which we do whenever we're in this store. While I was paying for our coffee, my wife went to the condiments area for some creamer and stevia packets. She saw that there were many packets out on the counter, and she began putting them back into the bins. An extremely rude and hostile employee came up to her, accused her of stealing the packets, and said "I know you have more in your pockets" and "don't EVER let me catch you doing this again." His manner was wholly belligerent, aggressive, and unprofessional. We did not get his name (she couldn't see his nametag), but he was very tall and had dark hair.Five stars for the store in general. Zero stars for this particular employee.

Hy-Vee is a great brand, but they recently chose to switch from having shoppers in store for Hy-Vee Plus members and are instead using Instacart for delivery orders, which has been terrible for me so far.I’m constantly getting milk that expires in a very short time when I request grabbing from the back, and I have to wonder if refunded or substituted items are the result of Instacart shoppers not knowing where things are.I also heard pickup orders(which are free) are still being shipped by staff. How does it make sense to outsource for paid members ordering delivery? It’s not right.Very disappointed in Hy-Vee for devaluing their Plus membership. I will not be renewing, and I’ll be switching to Walmart.

Whenever I'm in town, I go to Hy-Vee! I not only buy groceries, but eat there or pick up my favorite coffee drink! Also, have ordered catered food for events and bought t-shirts. Most recently, the floral department delivered a Fall arrangement for me, and the recipient thanked me for the beautiful flowers! Luv Hy-Vee for their quality & convenience!

What can I say about Hyvee except that it has long surpassed the Walmart on Conley Rd. as my favorite grocery store. A tad more expensive but if you prefer high quality food then this is the place I highly recommend. The deli is amazing, and they're always making fresh, new, ready to bake foods that are amazingly tasty if you're in a pinch for time. Have never had a bad experience with any of the employees; other customers are talkative and helpful. Love love LOVE this location! Oh, and the chicken wings are to DIE for!

Absolutely unacceptable pricing for a mediocre corsage and boutonniere. No special flowers, basic colors, they charged $46 for this? I could have gotten a full bouquet of roses in a vase. Way to really screw over children just trying to enjoy a school dance. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
