Convenient and can find just about everything you may need for your home. paper products, bathroom cleaning supplies, some cookware, water, sports drinks, coffee,chips, hair and body products, like I said earlier pretty much everything.

Jesus..this place needs help. The blonde haird manager over there is a joke. The store is closed ALL the time..It was closed during the eclipse for two hours and now I drive over there today(bc it's more convenient) and its closed again!!She closed it the other day bc she said her help didn't show up...uh hello does she know how to run a cash register??.I went there last week and the same manager is literally locking the door behind us and other ppl says she's going to close it again. I mean what a joke that place is.I just drove up to the vandiver location i work down at the plaza..you can see ppl standing talking in the back where the big semi is...and guess what..stores closed.....

So I’m here shopping today and an obese blond headed woman who said she was the manager was standing there yelling at some poor worker like I have never in my life witnessed before! I mean cursing and yelling as if the grown man was a child! It made us all very uncomfortable that I had to confront here and all she could say was she didn’t care cuz she’s already put her 2 wks in!? Like what?? She’s clearly a sociopath who needs counseling and shame on you Dollar General employing such crazed lunatic! I will never go here again!!

Dollar General is a popular spot, but it's consistently packed with boxes in the aisles, making it a bit cluttered and challenging to navigate. If you're patient and don't mind a little mess, you can find some good deals, but be prepared for a crowded shopping experience.

I feel like it's kind of ridiculous that they don't have a public bathroom for such a big store. I am traveling from St. Louis to Kansas City and just wanted to stop and use a restroom. This is a fairly large Dollar general also and you would expect to find public restrooms. So much for customer service....

Basic dollar general. Store was clean. Floor seem like they were waxed recently. From little bit I saw store seemed stocked well. Cashier was nice. This store is close off the interstate. Other businesses and restaurants nearby

Part of a shelf fell on me across this aisle and I had to move shelves to get thru the aisle. I was the 2nd person in the store and went straight to this aisle at 8 am.

I know they aren't going to care about this review and it will probably never be read but. I needed milk for my baby so I rushed down the road to the local DG. I had ten minutes before they closed. When I got there all the lights were on and the door was locked. There was a ladyopping in front of the door. I knocked and she mouthed the words we're closed. So inpointed to their hours sign. She shook her head and again said they were closed. So I pointed to the sign once again. This time she ignored me and kept mopping. Her name was Trinity. I thought I had ten minutes to get milk. So I wasted a trip for nothing.

If you plan on having your phone, wallet, keys, etc in your pocket, do not go to this store. I was minding my own business shopping, when I was approached and asked to empty my pockets because I looked “suspicious”. I called the manager because this is just inappropriate and all he said was that it was a “difficult location”. I’m just trying to buy groceries, not be marked as “suspicious” for putting my phone, wallet, and keys in my pocket.

This is an OK store when you NEED to get something, and you don't want to go into a supercenter. Clean enough, and employees are usually pleasant. This last time I was in, a customer had a full cart, and when the line at check out started to grow, an employee came flying up from the back to help out, so points for that.

Good selection of laundry detergent and prices with coupon from digital book. It is a new store so I'm not gonna say about space and maneuverability because of pallets in the aisle. The girl I think her name is Courtney was friendly.

Very nice customer service! I came in 12 minutes before close, with an exchange and was treated with warmth and informative service.I get easily distracted, and was gently remimded of closing time. I got all the items I needed, plus a couple more and was checked out efficiently.Great staff at this store!8:48PM, 9/23/2017, I didnt catch names, but saw 3 possibly 4 very friendly employees.

Got all my items, went to checkout, cashier rang it all up $54.?? And all I had to pay with was a check. Their system for checks was down AGAIN and I was informed I couldn't pay by check. I had no cash or debit cards, walked out without any of my items. Its happened before and I am sure it will again. Next time, I wont waste my lunch hour for nothing, I will just t as ke ly business to Walmart!

I went in the get choc. Covered cherries and spent $149.00 on all kinds of stuff! People were nice to me. The rows were stocked well. I was laughing so hard with some ladies in the same ille that my belly was sore the next day lol. They really have some cute household stuff too.

This store feels dirty most of the time. The floors are dingy and it gives me the feeling of being in a very small old town. I feel the need to wash things I buy there before I use them.

The store is so much cleaner and organized than it was just 6 months ago, however, the manager is extremely rude and disrespectful to people walking in that coupon. I come in here to spend my money just like everybody else, but the fact that I can use coupons to save a little bit of money she has a problem with.

Have you been to a Dollar General yet? It's typically a nightmare that I avoid at all costs. The bathrooms are locked and only one employee has the key and they're also running the register, the aisles are all blocked by boxes, it's dirty, etc. NOT THIS ONE. I'm so happy because it's near my house. My only complaint is that the store and sign are set back from the street so I think a lot of people don't know it's there - I almost always miss the turn. You can get good coupons on their app, so make sure to load those before you shop, and I believe they'll stack manufacturers coupons as well so you can get some really good deals. Oh, and something a lot of people don't know - they have clothes in all sizes, including plus sizes! I got some super cute galaxy leggings there for $12 and get so many compliments on them. People never believe they're from Dollar General!

Older store and not the cleanest retail store. However, it is a great place for North end of Columbia to pick up necessary items without having to go out of the way to Walmart out on east, west or south sides of town which will take a lot more time and gas and patience dealing with traffic on 70 or 63 or weaving through business loop and side streets. Prices are reading and staff competent, although a bit frazzled at times. Definitely not in the safest of neighborhoods in Columbia. Hours are somewhat limited and often likely to run into people most would wish to avoid.

Friendly and efficient! Employees at our local Dollar General are typically underpaid, understaffed and overworked. In spite of all this I noticed a positive attitude yesterday complete alongside a "can do" approach to customers.
