Love this pet store! The owner knows his supply, very wide range of exotic fish and pets. Massive stock of supplies and tanks, cages, food. You name it. I never miss a chance to stop in and add to my tanks!

Recently purchased a Pac-man Frog here!Everything was quick and easy, I came in after Christmas and they were all sold out of Pac-Man frogs, an employee told me to come in the following Friday and check back in, and when I came in they had 3 beautiful frogs that were impossibly hard to choose between.Ultimately I ended up with my Apricot Pac-Man frog Gamakichi!I’ve been here off and on multiple times since I was a very young boy, and I’ve always loved it, whether it be the fish tanks, the Guinea pigs, or the turtles in the back, I always found myself having a positive experience!Side note; Opal is the best!

This place takes wonderful care of their animals. I always make sure to look at that before anything else, and I feel like the staff here genuinely care about the welfare of their animals. They're incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to help you care for your pet.It's really refreshing to see a place with such a wide variety of supplies for reptiles and amphibians - much more supplies here than chains, and of great quality! I used their supplies to set up my first bioactive, and the staff helped me find the right isopods for my setup. They took time to talk me through the benefits and considerations of multiple species of isopods, and I felt very supported. Will be going here for all my pet needs!

A few months back I rescued a bearded dragon who was not in good shape. In hindsight I did not realize how high maintenance these lizards are. With that said every single person at Columbia pet center has been an absolute game changer in my lizards recovering and now on the road to thriving. They have spent hours in the phone with me. Emails with pictures. Constant talks when I go in weekly for supplies. There is not one single thing I could say about my experience other than how sincerely wonderful they have been with me. They always greet my 9,000 questions and problems with openness and understanding. The trust I have in them is beyond what this review could say. The care they have shown me being an absolute stranger is outstanding. They remember me each time I come in and my specific issues. I really cannot say enough or thank them enough. To the staff of Columbia Pet Center THANK YOU AND I APPRECIATE YOU. Thank you from all the Little’s!

Absolute best pet store within hours of travel, and Ive been to a lot of them. Getting back into the aquarium hobby after 15 years and I could not be happier to have a "fish store" that meets every aquarium need. Not only do they know their stuff, they look out for their customers and do whats best for them, not just what makes a buck. Im not loyal to brands or stores, but Ill be a long time returning customer due to how this place is run. Also, a big thanks to Ethan and Jeremy for being so helpful!

I was looking at their hay selection. A man asked me if I needed help, so I asked if they carried anything other than Oxbow. He asked if there’s a reason I didn’t want the Oxbow, to which I explained I was looking for a more affordable hay but still good quality. He rudely stated that those “don’t usually go hand in hand” and suggested I buy a hay bale from a farmer. I won’t be shamed into buying overpriced name brands when I can find quality Timothy hay elsewhere. This will be the first and last time I come to this pet shop. Condescending attitudes are not the way to get business.

I love the Columbia Pet Center! The pets they have there are all extremely well taken care of and look very healthy. They have a variety of animals, from birds to rodents, reptiles to amphibians and fish. Even some spiders! There's always an employee walking around with a bird on their shoulder, it's great to see the birds being socialized and given enrichment like that. The employees are all very knowledgeable and the prices are good. They sell some very good quality terrariums and tanks, as well as replacement screen tops. They have a small section for dogs and cats, but most of the store is dedicated to less common small animals. Always love coming here, highly recommend!

The woman who works there is a rude rude employee and I hate going when she is there but for the rest of the staff and the business as a whole I absolutley love. They have an excellent selection of animals and products. I drive all the way from St. Louis just to come here and its totally worth it.

Small place but lots of stuff for aquariums (salt and fresh water) and reptiles. There are some things for mammals and birds but I noticed more for aquatics, reptiles, and amphibians. The critters there are lively. My 2yr old enjoyed it (we also bought some things for our bearded dragons and freshwater aquarium). We will be back soon!

Super friendly staff. I bring my daughter in every couple weeks for some mice to feel her axanthic ball python. The staff is very knowledgeable and answers questions. The ball python "lil dude" hadn't eaten during the winter season and we were freaking out. Staff assured us that everything was fine and this could be common with the type of snake. When the weather warmed up, lil dude's appetite returned and appears to be doing very well!

Knowledgeable staff and the bunnies are adorable. We really appreciate that their animal feed is of the highest quality, particularly frozen mice that don't ever come stuck together.

This place is absolutely wonderful. I have been going to this store for 6 or 7 years now. The staff is very knowledgeable about the animals and their care and super friendly. I prefer this place to any other chain pet store I have been to. The place is smaller than a chain store but carries good products and even some local bred animals. I got a kenyan sand boa from them last week (pictured) that was produced by the owner and I have no doubts about the quality of the animal or health. I have never gotten a sick mouse or even a sick/poorly bred fish from this place either. They also have some nice dog treats, our dog loves the natural treats, especially the duck heads lol Absolutely my favorite store to visit when I'm in como.

I don’t live in Columbia but I will drive there just to see the Columbia pet centers fish ❤️ they always look well taken care of. Everyone who works there is so nice, helpful and knowledgeable! I appreciate that they actually care about their animals. I have strictly got fish from the Columbia pet center since discovering it!

This place is absolutely amazing! They have a large selection of animal supplies, much larger than the big box stores. The variety of different animals they have is unbelievable. You will be sure to find your animal companion at Columbia Pet Center. I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Ethan! He took the time to find the perfect bird for me. I am so thankful for everything he has done and the bird and I are so blessed to have each other. She is so special to me already. Thank you to Columbia Pet Center and most importantly, Ethan.

They are knowledgeable but there's kinda a vibe there , I opened a small box to get a look at a product to see if it would fit in my set up , put it back in front of the employees then a big tall guy comes up and says whats up ? Like maybe I'm trying to steal or something . Could be quite a bit cleaner especially the fish tanks and small reptiles aquariums . They are good folks tho .

Always enjoy a visit here. The live animals to view and purchase are as far as I know from healthy breeders. They have reasonably priced mice and rata for snakes. Good selection of habitats and fish and coral. In my opinion the dog and cat toys and food are a little pricey. Mostly the employees are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

There was a severely emaciated axolotl, the cages are extremely crowded, they allow kids to stress the rabbits and Guinea pigs. The fish tanks are dirty. Don’t shop here, all you are supporting is the abuse and neglect of these animals. Shop responsibly and find a good breeder for your animals. You’ll have a better temperament for a pet.
