Such a great store to browse. The staff are friendly and make sure you know that they are there if you need them. Awesome selection of hiking boots, backpacks, and accessories for outdoorsy people. A bit pricey, but I appreciate the ability to shop and buy locally.

Love the hikers I just picked up, would have never thought to try that brand had the staff not suggested it based on my foot needs. Picked up a nice new jacket for the Yellowstone trip. Thanks guys!

Caveat - we won a gift card at a paddling event, and this place is 2 hours from home, so we won't be regular customers.Given that, I was pleased with the prices and very pleased with the people working there today.Think of a greatly scaled down version of REI. Similar types of equipment, but less of everything. I'm sure they can order in anything you might need, though I didn't verify that.If I lived closer, I would certainly shop here again.

The staff here is excellent. Went here to pick up a pair of shoes and shop around. They accompanied my needs and were adamant about making sure I left the store happy. Prices are reasonable and the store is an all around good vibe with a solid selection for outdoor recreation and camping.

Shop local this place has awesome selection of our door gear and the cuties door greater ever. Staff was awesome very knowledgeable and welcoming. Definitely check them out any out door activities

Good selection of products. Employees were not helpful even when the store was empty. I ended up purchasing my kayaks at a different location (wilderness aspire and joy ride) I would recommend giving them a try because they did have a good choice of quality outdoor gear.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Great selection with a staff that always provides phenomenal service. Callie helped me pick out the perfect bag today after showing me all of my options and giving her personal recommendation. Definitely a gem of a store for anyone who wants quality gear!

Personally didn’t buy anything, but I loved the atmosphere and the helpful staff. In addition, the products were all from high quality and well-known brands. Extra bonus for being dog friendly. Will def be going back to actually buy something lol

Came in this shop looking for an item for a 10 day camping trip in Glacier National Park in MT. Service was pathetic. Item had no tags with specs or price. Ask, employee checked and said yep no price on it and went back to siting is camp chairs and talking with friends. I ordered what I needed for REI and picked up 10 minutes away from airport in MT. REI Rocks. Alpine caters to college students. I'll never set foot in here again.

First time I visited I was there for an event. Staff were friendly knowledgeable and well organized. The event went very well. There is a good selection of outdoor gear for you to choose, some a little pricey!Yes Google they do sell Hydro flask products!!🙂

In terms of outdoor shops, the Alpine shop has an impressive selection of goods. In a day and age where brick and mortar retail is dying, you wouldn't know by visiting the Columbia shop. Tons of inventory, good selection of sizes, and friendly staff. Visiting this store is always a good experience.

The people at Alpine Shop are super helpful. If you're looking to buy a backpack, Zack is an awesome resource. Drawing from his knowledge and experience as a backpacking guide in New Mexico, he gave me a quick rundown of Backpacks 101. He saved me hours of research. I was able to quickly identify the item I wanted to buy and even got a thorough lesson in backpack fitting and adjustment.

I went into Alpine looking to replace some trail shoes. Tom came over and gave me some great help with the selection they had (I wish they had a larger selection of shoes). So, I would say that they have an awesome staff!

this place had great customer service I have loved the fact that you can go in there and people greet you right on the spot and ask if you need any help. there prices were extremely reasonable. there selection was excellent having exactly what my friend was looking for it was a first for me and I will make sure to let everyone know that this place is always a pleasure to do business with. we alawys had to exchange a few things and they were more then happy to assist

Purchased a pair of trail hiking (Solomon) shoes I could not be happier. Excellent staff. Lynn Decapo was very helpful with my selection. Also the fit is just right! I will be,back when these wear out....could be a while. As Solomon is extremely durable!!!!!

The prices are just slightly more expensive than if you buy online, but they are always so knowledgeable and ready to help you find what you need for your next outdoor adventure. I like to support local businesses instead of buying online and it is always fun to walk around their store.

Good place for more expensive outdoors gear. You're not going to find anything cheep here but it's because it real reliable high quality gear. The staff is also fairly helpful but not obtrusive. l frequent it when sales are going on.

We were on our way to Mark Twain Nat'l Forest and had to pick up a MSR propane tank. They had what we needed and the service was excellent. We came during their holiday sale and did some extra gear shopping! I wish we had an Alpine Shop in Kansas City!

If you buy anything from Alpine Shop and it does not perform the way you expect it to, they don't care. I purchased a $200 jacket from them. Two weeks later, a few seams on the jacket had come loose. Alpine Shop refused to allow me to return it or exchange it because "It had already been worn too much." They offered to send the jacket to the manufacturer for twice the price the manufacturer charges. Finally, the oaf behind the counter suggested I just burn the seams with a lighter. Thanks for your help, I'll shop at REI from now on.
