Drive through had 3 cars in it and had to wait 20 minutes to find out their menu was out of date and half the items were sold out. The young girl had and attitude with us and the customer before us. Went to talk to the manager and the window worker came to argue with me that she was the only one working. The manager also said she had no authority to update the menu and that the GM could only do it. Seems like the GM isn't paying attention to this location with the menu out of date and the place understaffed with unempowered employees. They had 4 behind the counter and no one at the register. Used to stop by here on our way through all the time, but this honestly will be our last visit.

I arrived at 9:40pm on a Monday night 4/9/24 & the drive thru was closed. So I pulled up to the front door & the “OPEN” sign was turned off & all lights off except at cash register. I could see a man & woman closing up & it was obvious they had shut everything down yet google shows they close at 10pm?

Not clean. Not sanitary. Not good.This Dirty Queen needs to be reported to the health department. Nothing of what I saw at this restaurant was clean or taken care of.I watched a guy in an American Eagle t-shirt and a Batman hat working on the fryer, who then came over to the register, still wearing the gloves he was using at the fryer, and started handling transactions, touching the point of sale, touching money and credit cards. Then, still wearing these same gloves, he started making desserts! 🤮There are sticky tiles peeling off the walls, filthy bathrooms, and children running around without shoes. Never in my life have I visited such a disgusting fast food restaurant.

We stopped to eat at 5 was surprised that there was only 1 other car there. Found that there was a limited menu after 4. No single burgers only double or triple burgers, they did have the chicken sandwiches, no 3 piece chicken strips. The lady at the counter was helpful but the older gentleman was gruff and very unfriendly we should of walked out at that point. We went to the drink area for drinks and the floor horrible sticky and it was that way all the way to our table. The sandwiches were not very tasty at all. Discovered the bathrooms were block. Guess they don't think about the maybe a customer, Especially a Senior citizen or a mother with a baby or you child that might need to use the bathroom. Infact I talked to the other couple there that had 2 young girls she actually had to take one of the little girls outside behind the store. Ugh how said is that. I don't know how long these people have owned or manage this Dairy Queen but we will never stop again and I will be sure and mention it to my family and friends not to stop at Dairy Queen in Clinto Mo as they really are not good!

Seriously pathetic blizzard 😡 First of all y’all are supposed to be famous for your blizzards. They don’t have all the ingredients advertised and it was half melted when they handed it to me. The medium chocolate blast barely tasted like chocolate, and wasn’t even full. Definitely would NOT stand the, flip it upside and it stays in the cup test. Customer service was fabulous and friendly. But I won’t be going there for their pathetic ice cream menu options. I had my very first real job at a Dairy Queen. What a disappointment 😢😡😡😡Dear owner, PLEASE don’t call me a “FAN”. My review obviously stated the opposite. Why would I come back? What are you going to do differently? Your just blowing smoke and I don’t believe you. I feel sorry for your employees who are given bad or not enough ingredients to make a decent blizzard. They have to deal with the customers! Not you!

Slow, dirty and not that good but, they are under new management so I'll update this review if anything changes.Edit: Added a star because we stopped for ice cream and received the best customer service I've ever had at a Dairy Queen. She was really nice and helpful and they seem to have really turned the place around.

Went to drive thru on Sunday night at 8 pm, web site said their hours were until 9:30 lights on nobody home. We pulled over to the drive up window kept hearing voices pulled a little further employee's were behind the building letting us know in profound cuss words that they were closed. Better change hours on the site. Plus there was another car behind us.

If I could give negative stars I would! Lobby closed sign on the door says to use the drive thru but they won't acknowledge you are there. When you pull up to the front to get their attention they just laugh and say that they are closed. HORRIBLE service! This was 8:30 on a weekend evening! I will NEVER go back there again! I will go to Sedalia or Warrensburg. I'm DONE!In response to the owner's message, I don't believe a word. This same complaint shows up regularly on our local "rants & raves" page. For the six years I have lived here the sign has constantly read "under new management" This was not my first bad experience there but I guarantee it will be my last!

It's DQ, so the atmosphere is what it is.This facility's service is severely struggling, and I empathize with the employees being stressed out. I don't know if it is a lack of worker's with ethics or a management issue. But the dine in portion is usually closed when I have gone there, and only the drive through is open. Sometimes the whole place is closed. If you are traveling and have to use a restroom right away, I reccomend you find another place all together, because you just don't know if they'll be able to serve you fully and satisfactory.And for as long as one must wait for their order, it is always smashed and looks old.

Meh. Went yesterday (5/4) and got an oreo blizzard instead of the chocolate chip I ordered. Made the mistake of not checking until I was on the road. Went today (5/5) and got no queso with my pretzels despite specifically asking for some. Again didn't check until I left. The not checking is mistakes on my part but to get two mess ups two days in a row... I had tried them previously a few months ago and they messed up my order then too. Probably won't go back again. Also, they were not busy either time I was there.

Hours are wrong. States 10 pm. We were there at 9:08 and someone was inside but doors locked and lights off. Seems to be a common issue. There are several complaints about posted hours being wrong and yet they still have not been updated. Oh well, went to Sonic instead.

Do not eat here. The older lady that was the cashier was very rude. I have never bought anything but ice cream from a Dairy Queen so asked what was on the double cheese deluxe. She informed me, in a hateful manner, that it was bacon, cheese, and all the toppings. I decided it was better for mental health not to ask what 'all the toppings' were and ordered a plain cheeseburger meal. The burger was nasty and the fries were hot bit only half cooked.As for the restaurant itself, it was old, dirty, and the floor was so sticky I thought my shoe was going to be ripped from my foot. I finally decided to go wait outside while my family finished eating after I heard the cashier complaining about, "this generation." I honestly wished I had a go pro so I could have recorded this cashier, it would have made the top 5 lists of Karen's for sure.

Absolutely horrible experience. Food was flavourless, and the staff was rude. I have never eaten anything but ice cream so I had no idea what came on the burgers, so I asked and was replied to as if I was an idiot. "All the toppings" explains nothing. She was very impatient with us, rude, and not helpful. If that wasn't worse enough, I ordered a hot fudge ice cream. The hotfudge was UNDER the icecream, and I had no way to eat it with the ice cream. All the other Dairy Queens I have been to put the toppings on top. I went to go ask for another container so that I could eat it with less issues, and politely explained to them about how it was difficult to eat, and the cashier who had been rude to us earlier said, "not our problem, have a blessed day Karen. Our lobby closes at 3 anyways." She said it it a rude manor, and extremely loud. Would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

The lobby was locked during open business hours, and we had to wait while every one of the employees (suppose to be) working were done getting high in a car in the parking lot. Once they were done they reopened the store and horribly made our order. Bits like this every time we go and only keep going because our kids love the ice cream.

I was disappointed that the senior discount was not available because of the kind of meal I ordered. It was around $10. I guess maybe if I had purchased just a small drink I could have used the senior discount. I don’t understand the logic. The food was fair, the service was not very good and the wait was incredibly long through the drive through even though there were only 3 of us in line.

Lobby was closed 3pm drive up only. Speaker super loud . Ordered 2 medium chocolate dip cones. Got to window 4 people in kitchen we could see 15 mins and 3 it'll be second we got our dip cone which were delicious.

Paid a lot for a chicken strip salad that was merely a small amount of lettuce, cheese and one strip of chicken. The guy working in kitchen later explained that the correct salad didn't come in on truck. He was super nice and gave my daughter extra fries with her order as well as an extra pretzel stick. The girl working at counter however couldn't have had less personality. Take that sour attitude elsewhere and get to work (the trash in dining area was overflowing, not one clean table top and wasn't a busy time as only one other family was in there, bathroom was very dirty).
