If you love birds, like to watch them and would like to see more of them around your house this is the place to go. The knowledgeable staff can recommend everything from bird baths, to bird feeders, to bird houses and types of feed to draw your favorite birds to your yard. They carry a wide variety of items including feeders that discourage squirrels, deer and racoons. They even sponsor bird walks if you want to learn how to identify the wide variety of birds that make this area their home.

We’re new to birds. Everyone has been so helpful and we learn new things every time we go in which has been almost weekly. Figure it’s a great unwind after work (and cheaper than therapy).Sometimes it seems like the feeders are bit pricey but most are with a lifetime (that’s right, lifetime) guarantee.We love supporting a locally owned, small business and we’re learning a new hobby from knowledgeable, caring, supportive folks.We even have a nest of baby song sparrows now…so adorable!Thanks WBU-Chesterfield.

This is one of my favorite stores to visit!!! The first time I went in there I had no idea what I was getting into, in terms of the bird feeding/watching world, and all the employees were beyond helpful, knowledgeable, and just friendly. I left feeling confident and super excited. Anytime I have a problem or question I just call them up and they have an answer for me. My only problem is I can never leave with just purchasing my one main item I need as there are far too many wonderful and fun items in the store. I always look forward to going back - great people and store!

Love this store! I’ve been a customer at another area WBS the products they carry at the Chesterfield store are wonderful, and the owners and personnel are very knowledgeable. I attended a bird walk led by their naturalist, Diane, I heartily recommend them.

The people at this amazing store are very pleasant and knowledgeable. I needed hummingbird nectar and they had some, even though it was late spring and other stores had sold out. I also needed a new bird seed feeder and found one that will last for many years because it's so well made. Then I saw it! The most unique bird bath I've ever seen in my life (and I was born MANY moons ago)! I held my breath as I walked over to see the price. WOW! I had expected it to be quite a lot more. Did they have it in stock?? YES!! My feathered friends are enjoying quenching their thirst, splashing in the summer sun and getting a bite to eat on a daily basis. My house feels like a home now...and I got it all in one store for a mighty good price.

I brought in a feeder that I purchased here many years ago that had damage to see if they would be able to fix it. Bill reminded me that it was their brand and had a lifetime warranty and was able to fix it while I waited. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. It's my one stop bird shop.

A small retail location, but they jam a ton of goodness in it, making it a really fun place to visit. Some of the products they sell could be had cheaper online, BUT the always super kind, helpful, and attentive staff make WBU a local business worth supporting.

I am writing this message in regards to the superior quality of products at Wild Bird Unlimited in Chesterfield. For many years, I purchased all of my bird seed and other bird items at WBU. Last fall, I decided that I would try seeds from one of the big box stores in the area. I was attracted to the lower prices thinking that all seeds are the same. I immediately noticed that the bags of seed contained a lot of debris other than seeds. I also noticed that some of the bags contained dirty and molded seeds. I gave them a try for several months and even noticed a significant decline in the number and variety of birds on my feeders. I also experimented with the suet cakes and quite frankly the birds didn’t like them. For the past several years I had pileated woodpeckers with the WBU suet cakes. After putting out the inferior big box suet cakes the pileated woodpeckers stopped coming to my feeders completely. Realizing that my experiment to save a few bucks had been bad for the birds, I returned to WBU for their seeds and suet cakes and now have an abundance of birds including the pileated woodpeckers. I highly recommend the store not only for the products, but for the awesome customer service and knowledgeable staff. Each of the staff members greet you with a smile and even remember your name. It’s a great place to get your products and get answers on birds needs and habits. I definitely give them a 5 star rating.Kevin TaylorChesterfield, MO
