Alert ‼️ Alert ‼️ Worst grooming experience. We had some bad feeling about our prior appointments but we thought it could be our pup being nervous . This weekend grooming appointment was the worst. He came back with big cut on his back and when we sent pictures and called, there was no care on explaining the cause . We left him in best condition and healthy. The groomer had no concern for our pet deep down she knew she mishandled him. These guys have no care about pets. It’s the worst place to get your pet groomed . Please stay away from this place. Our groomer was Kel S. I strongly advise people stay out of this team.

I went to purchase 7 mollys and 4 zebra dano fish for my tank at the PetSmart store in Chesterfield. In speaking to the staff about making the purchase I was questioned about the tank size and the amount of fish that I already had.I already knew about the type of fish and the quantity that should go into my tank as I’ve been maintaining my own tankfor years.I was told by store personnel that it would not be wise to buy the amount of fish that I wanted therefore my purchase was denied. The store would not sale me the fish because of the store personnel's opinion. As a customer I felt slighted and spoken to in a condescending manor. I will not be returning to that store as I have never had a bad experience with any other PetSmart store so far.

The fish section, a tranquil detour, showcases a choreography of fins and bubbles.It’s not just a store, but a brief escape into the animal kingdom, where my inner cat person feels right at home. With a cart full of feline spoils, I bid adieu to the whiskered residents, until next whisker-twitching adventure calls me back.

Fish tanks are in horrible condition, I mean just disgusting. Mold and dead fish in just about every tank, and not just 1 or 2 fish. Not to mention the cups of dead bettas you notice as soon as you walk in the door. The staff I encountered was very friendly and polite but not too helpful.

I have always had a good experience at this petsmart. The only negative I am going to say is the last time I was there the aquariums needed to be cleaned. It was never that was previously. I purchased an adorable little parakeet when I was there. The cages were clean and the birds were all very healthy. I chose this little guy because he seemed to like me. He followed me around the cage. He is so happy with his new home. His name is Arly

I took both of my boys here to be groomed and was ecstatic with the results .They looked amazing and they had a wonderful experience. They kindly were able to schedule us right away. I would recommend to anyone . And wil be coming back here every time my dogs need to be groomed .

Petsmart Chesterfield Missouri-----Dead fish in nearly every tank. Algae lining the tanks. Just grotesque. This place isn't cared for at all. I thought Manchester was bad. This place tops it. Shameful!Update: went back 2 weeks later and its worse if that is possible. Looked like about a 55 gallon tank with less than a half inch of water WITH FISH IN IT!!!! Abusing these fish horribly. Place smelled like something died in it..probably all of the fish they are killing with neglect The board of health needs to step in. See photos.

Got a goldfish from here on Sunday, the attendant totally scratched his face above his eye with her long nails and was not kind. Fish came home with Ich and died less than four days later. He was the only fish in a 20 gallon so it definitely came from the store. If you buy fish from here be prepared to already have hospital tanks ready to go. I got my fish on 8/20/23 so if you got a goldfish that day or this last week I would consider treating your tank for ich.

I placed a pickup order this morning of 2 dog beds on clearance. Within 10 minutes of placing the order, I received a phone call stating they didn’t have the dog beds that I ordered, and they would replace them with two other ones at no extra cost. Great customer service!

I want to give a shout out to Dylan at the Chesterfield location! I unfortunately have a beagle named Oliver who is critically ill with meningitis. He just came home recently from a 6 days stay at a speciality hospital and I was overwhelmed to say the least. I went into the store to try and find things to help both Oliver and I. Beds that could go in the laundry, diapers etc. All of the items I bought didn’t work for our needs. I went back to the store to do returns 5 receipts in hand only to find that I was missing one and the items were now on clearance. I said that’s fine, after all if was my mistake not having the receipt. After Dylan did all my returns I went to find some other items. Dylan took the time to find me in the store and mentioned that he could maybe try and find my missing receipt through my phone number and he found it! So I was issued another credit for the full amount of the now clearance beds! Not many sales associates would have taken the time to help me the way Dylan did, what a kind man. I’ll always be grateful to him for going the extra mile. Sincerely Leslie G~

My experience at this location has been great. The groomer (Alex) knew the cut for my English Springer Spaniel, and I love that I don't have to book my appointments 4 to 6 weeks in advance.

Came here for groom for my yorkie and was highly satisfied. They took care of him and I was impressed. He even peed on the floor after being let out of the cage and the staff cleaned it up no problem... the staff offered me the best deal available and came thru.

Super nice staff but they for some reason got rid of their Banfield so now they don’t carry any of the prescriptions dog or cat foods. It’s location was very convenient for me and now I have to drive at least 15 minutes to be able to get my cats prescription food super sad that their corporate office decided to take away their Beanfield. Still give them five stars so because it’s not the staffs fault, they’re really really helpful and super nice.

Went in to get a harness for our new puppy and the staff was not very helpful and not responsive. We were wandering the store trying to find certain items for our dog and several staff members passed us but never offered help, never wanted to see our puppy. When going to checkout the employees looked like they would rather be anywhere else but there. Didn’t seem the least bit interested or eager to help. Normally I expect friendliness and eagerness to help us get settled with our new puppy. We received none of that. I know it doesn’t do much but we won’t be returning here. Going somewhere else with better, friendlier service.

This was my first and last time using Petsmart for grooming my 1 year old pup. I had a bad feeling at drop off and I wish I had trusted my gut and taken my dog home at that point. Miriam was our groomer today and upon meeting her, she seemed very irritated already. While I know my dog does get excited when meeting new people, a little bit of patience from Miriam would have gone a long way. I heard her mutter “Jesus Christ” under her breath while trying to put her leash on my dog who is still very much a puppy. I was nervous to leave my dog with someone that was impatient and rude right off the bat. When picking her up, it was noted on her report that she didn’t trim her front nails. We’ve never had issues with that in the past with a groomer. I am understanding of safety precautions, but it said that she didn’t even try. I can’t help but wonder if it was just an issue of her own impatience and frustration. If so, she’s in the wrong profession. My dog is a heavy shedder right now due to being double coated and losing her winter coat. When I got her home & looked her over I noticed she still has loose tufts of fur all over her body that I could pat off with just my hand. You’d think for $60 my dog wouldn’t come home like that. We will stick with the groomer we’ve been using (they were fully booked and Petsmart was the only place with availability). I absolutely will NOT bring my dog here again and will advise my friends and family to look elsewhere for a groomer.

Although I won’t buy or recommend buying any pets from them, they have a great selection of pet supplies. If you have a small animal and need some stuff, this is the place to go. I would recommend checking their website and calling the store for availability of the product if you are looking for something specific.

I took my dog to Petsmart in Chesterfield Valley to have her nails trimmed. She is a 6 year old rescue Aussie/boxer mix with anxiety and aggressive tendency’s when scared. She has not had her nails cut or been washed for quite a few years professionally. Another pet store chain gives her her shots yearly but do not trim nails. I would like to compliment Miriam from this Petsmsrt. She listened to my concerns with my dog having “social issues”. She was still willing to attempt to cut her nails.She said it went good and said she did not have to muzzle her which can be troublesome for some boxer mix breeds. She offered to fit my dog in for a shampoo too. She came home happy and looked and smelled wonderful. Great job Miriam the Boxer/Aussie mix named Bailey says “Thanks so much for giving me a chance and being patient with me.” We will be back soon and will ask for you again!!

Contacted this store to inquire about their availability of a particular fish. The automated line said that the fish department was “not a valid choice.” I pressed “0” for an operator. I asked about availability and was told by a male that “WE DON’T do inventory checks!” I asked to be transferred to the fish department. He huffed as if I was bothering him and placed me on a 10 minute hold. After hanging up, I called back. A very nice lady who answered visited the fish department and told me how many fish that I needed, were in stock. She apologized immensely. We were going to visit to buy them, but were ultimately turned off after our initial call. I won’t be shopping there and Petsmart should seriously consider their choice of front facing customer service reps. If he is answering the phone, I’m sure he has turned off many customers with his attitude.

If you are interested in fish friends but have no idea where to start, walk in and ask for V! She is the bomb, and extremely knowledgeable, and so very kind. Being that I'm a beginner fish mommy, V stayed patient and thorough with every single question I had. She went over so much info with me and because of her I was able to make educated decisions with confidence. She truly is an asset to the company and deserves recognition for going above and beyond.

Always check the prices online!The store will price match anything from their website. I go in to buy pellet for my bird and the online price is always about $5 cheaper than the in-store price!! And that's without it being on sale on the website....which they have sales regularly.ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK!Otherwise it's a typical national pet store chain.

Super disappointed how long and how many calls it took to have a trainer call me back--2+weeks of leaving messages. Finally was able to set up a time to meet to do an eval of my pup to determine placement in a class. When I arrived with my pup at said time, trainer was not there. She had called in. Spoke with mgr and he offered no apology basically just looked at me with a blank uncomfortable stare. Store is fine for goods. I would avoid training due to plain lack of interest in customer service.

Amazing staff who helped to find everything we needed. One staffer carried the kennel we were considering out to the car to make sure it fit, then took a photo of the bar code once it was loaded so that we didn't need to unload and reload it. They even found us coupons that saved us significant dollars off.
