They took care of my pup but I was charged twice for an exam. My pup went in to be fixed and to get the rest of the vaccines. I did not look at my bill before I paid for it, My Mistake. I was charged for two exams, not including the one the vet did on my pup before surgery. If you use this vet ALWAYS LOOK OVER YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY FOR IT!!!

Recently my boyfriend and I's dog was attacked by a another dog while leaving the vets office. While the event was very unfortunate, the staff could not have been better. My boyfriend told me that they immediately stepped in to help our dog and reassured us to not worry about the cost. They have been amazing with having us come in multiple days this week so they can make sure he is doing ok. I could not have asked for better care for my baby. They have been great at answering all of our questions, and making sure they are doing everything they can to take care of him. After the incident they called us a few times before picking him up to update us on his surgery and how he was doing. They have gone above and beyond to take care of our baby. I won't be able to thank them enough for all they have done to reassure us as dog owners, as well as take the best care of our dog.

Dr. Mike (now retired) and Dr. Clint have taken care of my dogs for more than 15 years, including squeezing me in for an emergency that turned into putting my dog to sleep. They have always been patient (with my dogs and with me) and gentle.

The Animal Clinic in Cedar Hill was recommended to us by a family member after we moved into the area 8 years ago for our five dogs (Pit mix, lab, boxerpug mix, and german shepherd). Dr. Clint & staff are great! Whether it's an annual exam, medical emergency over a holiday weekend (which has happened) or needing end of life services at home. We highly recommend Dr. Clint. He is always honest and compassionate knowing every animal is a loved and valued family member.

The staff here is AMAZING!! They truly care about your pet as a part of their own family. Dr Chris took the time to chat with me about my dog's visit and her health and well being, I didn't feel like I was being rushed. I moved to Cedar Hill and previously had taken my pets to a larger veterinarian in St Louis and the professionalism and peace of mind does not come close to comparing with The Animal Clinic!!

I have had nothing but great experiences with The Animal Clinic. My pit bull pup ( 8 months old) is a real hand full and they are great with her. My dog actually loves going there! They are an okay Veterinary Center. They just heavily push their own products and made me feel like they were not willing to work with me. Despite how many times I told them that my dog didn't like the medicine they kept pushing. After about 2 months of this they eventually allowed me to get the medicine I knew my dog wanted. But the damage was done.

Staff was amazing! They took the time to explain everything about having our Sweet Pea spayed and how to care for her after she went home. I love that they allowed us to call and check on how she was doing while recovering from her surgery.

I have 3 dogs, all of which I take to the Animal Clinic, located just off hwy 30 in Cedar Hill. Their location is great. The staff is very helpful and show concern for my pets. They always make sure to offer the very best care to keep my dogs happy and healthy. I generally don't have a long wait. The office is always clean.Also wanted to add, here are many poor people in Cedar Hill, vets need to be paid to pay their expenses and payroll. Unfortunately, some people cannot afford to have pets, but they do and they expect special prices, financing or free service; and give bad ratings because Animal Clinic can't afford to stay open at this location if they did this for the many many folks in the area whom need it. So, in general, there's just no more exceptions allowed.Personally, I think they aren't cheap, but not extremely over the top. My 6 month old pup's spay cost $160.

Worst vets office ever! I wouldn't take my pet rock here. They only care about the money and absolutely no compassion for the client or the animal. I took my dog here and they did not do a thorough exam and diagnosed him with stress. I took him back there 3 days later, per their suggestion. They did a few more tests then told me I needed to hospitalize him and that I had to put a down payment of 1,000 and his treatment would be 3,000 (this without pin pointing the exact cause). Dr. Boyd Sr wife then told me i had 5 minutes to decide. They also told me his tests would be 266.00 but when I went to pay, it was 384.00! I didn't have 1000 and she refused to let me make payments. Before I left she said "if you take your dog home, he will die. Fortunately, I found a vet who would work with me and not RIP me off. However, my dog was critical and needed his records sent immediately to the new vet and they gave every excuse in the book why they couldn't send them. Unfortunately, he passed away the next day, it turned out he had cancer. Horrible people.

Dr Clinton Boyd went above and beyond helping me with my dogs after they ate rat poison. I was so upset and worried.. and even though it was after hours he called other doctors and researched all he could to help us. It was so comforting knowing how much he cared about my dogs. I don’t know what I would do without my dogs. I really can’t thank him enough. We’ve used this clinic for years and have only ever had great service, thank you so much Dr Boyd!
