My dogs absolutely love the trainers/Groomers here at Gateway, I have never had a dog get so excited to see their groomer but that’s why we love it here! We take our 70lb GoldenDoodle and our 50lb epileptic beagle mix here and they do great with their grooming. We also take every class that is offered because they are so much fun and a great learning environment. Highly recommend both grooming by Kate and Training with Emily, Rick and Kate! 💯 A+

This is a wonderful group of people. We have had them train our dogs, and they are our regular go to groomers. They take the time to understand and get to know your pets. I feel confident in the work they do.

Gateway is a very clean facility with amazing, trustworthy staff. Kate is an excellent groomer that frequently works with difficult dogs and manages to get a good looking finished product every time. Emily is a fantastic trainer and every dog I have seen come out of training at Gateway makes great progress with their owners. They work together to create an awesome place of business and a great place to take your dog:)

I’ve taken advantage of both grooming and training services. Owner is very patient and easy to work with and has always been able to help with any training issues I’ve had. Groomer never assumes and always asks what I want. Prices are very comparable to other facilities, if not cheaper. I like the small family owned business atmosphere.

Wonderful job on both of my dogs! Katie is great! I had been going elsewhere because it was convenient when I was commuting, but now WFH, it's just a couple miles away and is perfect for me and my dogs. Highly recommend @Gateway Canine LLC for quality, thoughtful service.

Gateway Canine is the best. None can compare. Emily is an incredible teacher and has years of experience and practical know-how to back it up! Kate is a wonderful groomer and deals with my pain in the a** corgi regularly. They spoil him rotten! I will recommend Gateway all day, every day!*Edited to add: the place is spotless. Their response to covid has been extremely safe and professional. The building is quiet without a ton of traffic. When not being groomed or worked with my corgi stays safely in his kennel. They take perfect care of him and me!

Overpriced for basic shaving of a dog. If you have a 20lb dog you'll spend 50 dollars and your dog will be stuck in a kennel for roughly 5-8 hours that whole day. I've dropped dogs off at 9am and picked them up at 5pm when they finally finished grooming them. This has occurred multiple times. I've brought 6 different dogs here and all have taken the whole day before they were done. Customer service is 2 or 3 stars at best. They don't allow you in the shop because of "COVID" yet they don't wear masks? There must be some other reason for this, every groomer I've ever used allows you to come inside. I've been there to pick up a dog in the pouring rain and still was expected to stand in the rain outside. I will not be bringing my 6 dogs back for the reasons listed above. Hopefully they can accomplish better customer service and have more reasonable prices for the quality of work in the future, or they won't last in cedar hill.

I just called to sign my two dogs up for grooming, Tricky Dog 101 and 2 gold day training packages. I asked about setting up a meet and greet to ensure we would be leaving our dogs in a safe and clean place. We were told we would not be allowed into the building for a tour at any time. The first reason she provided was COVID but then said they have aggressive dogs running around. When I asked how my dogs would be kept safe she just reiterated I could not view the facility. I'm not sure who spends thousands of dollars without confirming what you are getting or leaves their dogs somewhere that can not be viewed. I would advise finding some place that is more transparent.

I can not say enough great things about Gateway Canine. They love and take care of our Stella as if she was their own.Stella has been in extended training since January. I only wish they had boarding. Grooming is awsome. Don't think I've ever been happier with my other dog, Doris' groom.Katie is awsome too. In fact, stella likes her more somedays then me.
