This store is pretty weird, but the cashiers are pretty friendly. They say they only add 10% on top of their cost for each product. If that’s the case then they really need a negotiator for their wholesale purchases. The best thing is their selection of cheeses, which is impressive, good quality and much more selection than walmart. Other than that it kind of sucks.

Our family shops here because of the prices the location the deli the meat department the dog food the bear department I like my Irish cream in my coffee so they always have a good price on that we shopped there every week and we save money and we appreciate King Cash saver very much and all their employees there they're very kind and helpful and I recommend this for everybody God bless y'all keep you all safe

Great place to pop in and grab a few things. Prices are comparable to most grocery stores. They have a pretty good deli and a decent meat department. I don't know if I would do all my shopping there, but you could get quite a few things for a pretty good price. The checkout is a different story. It is either not busy and you can go right thru or it's crazy busy and you will be waiting for a while. Over all I like it.

Cashiers were quick and friendly. Had no difficulties finding anything I needed. Food selection compared to Walmart was good, and the prices are fair. Whether a quick grocery trip or a basket full, a good place to goThey have a small selection of household goods, along with cat and dog food. And they have beer and wine, also cigarettes for sale

Not very clean prices on most things are absolutely outrageous especially since they add 10% before tax last I knew that meant wholesale price. But that's not the case. However they have a good meat selection with good deals all the time. Great selection and price isn't bad on liqour either just everything else. And always check the dates before buying something from them have had a lot of issues with out of date food. And plan on standing in line forever they only have 1 or 2 lanes open 90% of the time. And check check check your receipt have noticed a lot of double scanning and sale items not adding discounts.

The good: best beer selection and prices in town. Periodically has decent sale prices. The meh: most prices are just okay, not great. Same with staff. The bad: some prices are awful! $5 for six English muffins? C’mon! Also, the prices all have 10% tacked on at checkout. This seems a bit predatory as some patrons are not that good at math and might be deceived by the shelf prices.

Huge store. Set up nicely. Great selection. Price doesn't match value of their food though. Some products are ridiculously priced. A bonus for me was the fact that they have a HUGE selection of alcohol in the front. One less stop for mom!

Smells like mold as soon as you walk in the door. I bought 2 packs of meat, 1 chicken and 1 ground beef, both made me throw up just from the sulfur smells coming from them, which is a sign of salmonella. The chicken in particular was double wrapped, a sign that a new expiration date was made. Steer clear of this store for your health.

Store worn and very dated. Cleanliness could use some help. Store does offer some items that other area stores do not. The 10% add on is borderline deceptive pricing. They should post actual price on each item rather than having to do math on each item. Many people with limited math skills are taken advantage of with this pricing technique. Comparison price shopping with competition should be easy.

Love king cash saver, it's an awesome place that Carrie's most of the stuff I want. Unfortunately they dont carry my cigar brand white owl which is a little disappointing but not a big deal. Great place that's super cheap.

Kings is a small town store with all the warmth and charm. Its the friendly people that makes a great atmosphere. But the prices especially in the meat section that will have you absolutely "hooked". I can get ribs and chicken so cheap i may need to be pushed around the store in a cart myself because im eatin' good.

Came here because Price Cutter in Joplin recently closed and gave out some free item coupons which I used here. Prices are very good and the person tending checkout courteous and friendly! I work in Carthage so I'll be compiling shopping trips here on the way home!

Much cleaner under this management! The meat department is nice. The staff are very friendly. It is weird how they tack on the extra when you check out. I’d rather it just be added into the price of the food.

KCS seems to be a little bit more expensive than other stores in town. They don't have a large variety of items and some of their food items are expired, so I would recommend taking a second glance at the labels. They do have an impressive selection of alcohol.

They are back and forth on prices. Sometimes they have great sales and then the prices are so high I go ahead and go to Walmart (and I hate going there). You have to remember to add 10% which feels a little misleading. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I think if their prices were a bit more competitive with Walmart or Dollar General I wouldn't shop anywhere else.

It feels like a local grocery store. Sometimes the lines do get long. Prices are pretty good, usually the seasoned chicken legs and quarters are so value priced I just pick some up on principle. If I could I'd probably rate a 3.5

While prices may be fairly competitive, the place literally stinks. Some unidentifiable "dirty" smell - a cross between body odor and rotten food - pervades the whole store. This isn't the first time we've noticed this awful odor.

The store is okay, but not my first choice. It is very cheap and I like the prices (for $1.99 total I got a water bottle, a granny smith, a mozzarella cheese stick, and a Colby jack cheese stick). However, the fruits tend to have 1-3 bruises and marks on them, but I honestly find the best fruit and cut off the bruises and wash them thoroughly until I eat them. I mostly use this store to run in and get a few items, and it's perfect for that.I must say that a few times I have run in and gotten a few snacks and put them back and walked out empty handed because of the lines. Several people go there and walk out with dozens of groceries and most of the time only one or maybe two registers are open.I also have to compliment on your large array of pet foods (specifically cat). You have twice as many products as Walmart, and my cats really love the moist Rachel Ray Nutrish cups. They are 95 cents there and small enough to fit into the bag I carry, but Walmart doesn't even sell them.In total, this store can be fantastic if you go at the right time (in the morning). I know this was long, but I'm bored and just running around the internet doing stuff.

I never really shopped here until I started working here (no longer working here) and it was just way more convenient but I still would have to go to Walmart because the meat is usually not as good as it should be especially the chicken. And then adding 10% at the register adds so much more to your bill and you don’t get every item at whole sale price because a lot of the same exact things you get there are cheaper at Walmart BEFORE they add the 10% at the end. The regular workers for the most part are wonderful there are some I don’t know now since everybody has left they aren’t all as friendly as what I’m used to but still way better than the managers of this store. They are always rude to customers and to employees always treating you badly but needing you to do everything for them when they can’t handle it and get it done alone.. I hate to have to go in this store if I don’t absolutely have to the shopping experience isn’t anywhere near what it should be.

Go to King Cash Saver and spend $100.Go to WALMART and buy same stuff and spend $140.With the extra $40 weekly, pays a bill.Very good meat selection, and good price. Great tasting, fresh.

Very unsatisfied with my last visit. I ordered egg rolls on the phone ahead of time, they said 5 minutes. I drive all the way there 10 minutes later and they still hadn't put them in the frier. Then as I wait. The lady just takes off and goes where ever and just leaves me sitting there. I wasted my whole lunch break waiting for nothing.......

Prices aren't as good as they once were, but selection of goods is more varied than the Carthage Walmart. Produce section can be a little iffy at times, but overall a nice clean store to replace or supplement shopping at Walmart.

The store is clean and played out fine enough. You can buy some things here you can't get at other places. But I find it more expensive than all other places. Would only go back to get those very few items again. But would not do my grocery shop here. To expensive...

This store is an excellent place to shop. The meat department has fresh meat. The produce is fresh and there is a wide selection in the grocery depot. Forget Walmart, shop here.
