There is never anyone available to ring you out. You have to stand there for 5 minutes before any employee even realizes there is someone up front ready to check out. The employees think because there is a self-check out, they can stand around and talk and that they don't have to do their job.

Normally I would rate higher, however the shelves were way understocked and the selection in general was not great. Before they remolded they were one of the best around had a great selection of stuff you couldn't find like in there cosmetics and clothes for instance. But ever since they just really have nothing, just a bunch of over priced groceries.

Items weren't in there marked places, some of them major price differences. When I worked retail I got in trouble for these kindof things whoever is running this store sucks. The employees seem to be unable to handle their jobs. Overall not a friendly environment and the store looks filthy.

I travel ALOT and have been in many dollar general stores in not so good areas in big cities and this store hands down is the filthiest store I have ever been in. Unorganized and absolutely disgusting. Im positive their floors haven't seen a mop in years.

They are courteous to everyone in my 'crew.' Doesn't matter whether it's my son looking for a particular football style or me looking for an adhesive, E6000, they always politely direct or walk us there.

The Dollar General back home in Missouri was the best stocked store I have seen in a long time. The location of the one in Joplin,Mo.❗It has new manager and has really turned things around.The store itself is really in a very old building, but has a lot of room. It's on the corner of 7th Street and Jackson. I miss shopping there. Have since moved to Utah and have only seen 1 store in the Davis county area.

Rude employees, last time I will put foot in this store. I said this last time and I decided to go back today and I regret it. Will go to the other Dollar General where employees are much nicer and store is much cleaner and organized.

They finally cleaned up and remodeled and I am back shopping again. They have stocked up more food and have the cutest stuff now. Also, the employees are even cleaner and nicer.

Employees refuse to wear masks, although there are signs everywhere ( including by register). When asked, was told it's too bothersome. Won't shop here ever again. Including my family and friends since they have no regard for customers health.

We have some things that some prices are high and others are really low but just like any other store you gotta pick and choose what you get and it looks like they have new management they are trying to organize some things in there now it was getting pretty bad about ilyes couldn't hardly get through any apartment it looks like they're organizing things in there and I do believe it's better than what it was about getting parts through I still think they need to clear some things out especially stuff that just sits there on the shelf for ever they do not need that's just my opinion because it is an electric wheelchair I couldn't get through some of the Isles and that's what I was thinking when I was walking through a park

Great for quick visits and little shopping needs. They have a small selection of groceries and house hold items, and other items. You can find most items you would from Walmart at Dollar General.

It's a dollar general. It's good for getting some things cheap but when king cash saver is on the same bit of strip mall it doesn't make sense.

CROWDED! If your in a wheel chair don't bother. It's a nice LITTLE store for getting what you need. The only thing missing is a phrmacy.

There are 2 Dollar General stores in Carthage, MO. One next to Aldis and the other, Dollar General off of Baker St. Next to King Savers. I like both stores.

Items in disarray on the floor in the aisles. Items on carts blocking the aisles. An accident waiting to happen.
